Very good food. I have been here twice now and it always tastes fresh. There is a taste difference when you use fresh ingredients. The service has always, always been friendly and helpful. Our waitress gave us suggestions of new things to try and offered to have done menu items«altered» to meet spice level preferences. The atmosphere was nothing special, it doesn’t have to be. It’s clean and neat. Will be coming back again for sure.

I arrived a little less than 30 min before close. They were super friendly and didn’t act put out at all. The menu is average length for this kind of place but it has a lot of great things on it. The food is as good as it gets! Very flavorful and perfectly cooked. Atmosphere is simple café but it is clean, has a few booths, and nicer wooden tables. There is background music that isn’t too loud so it sets a good vibe. I will definitely be back. One note: they don’t have a liquor license so no beer. With that as my biggest complaint we have a home run.

Great place for a quick Greek Bosnian lunch. Love the lunch special on Fridays — lamb shank with rice. Very delicious and lamb falls right off the bone, so tender and juicy. Tilapia is generally good fall back for those who don’t dig the Greek flavors. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Enjoy!

The place is great! The best beef kabobs I have ever had. They look so simple but have so much flavor. Come check it out. I will come back for sure.

This place is a hidden gem. Service is top notch and the food is even better. Worth whatever price you pay for your meal.

Ordered to-go for lunch one day, had them split one of the platters they offer in half since I was the only one eating. For $ 17 the amount of food I received was a little bare to say the least, but even more so — the taste and presentation just wan’t there. I know you can’t expect much when ordering take out, but this place just didn’t do it for me — won’t return.

Who knew a Bosnian restaurant will be located on 529!!! I was surprised: the food was amazing, the employees were sweet and the place was packed. I had the Kebab plate and it was delicious. I would have preferred it with more spices though.

Excellent food, wonderful staff. Family run, always busy at lunchtime. Their pita seems to be made in house, and their prices are very reasonable.

Café adel specializes in Bosnian cuisine and is one of my favorite establishments to visit. This place serves excellent food at a very reasonable price. My suggestions are the famous Cevap sandwich(beef sausage like patties inside pita bread) or the stuffed pljeskavica sandwich(which can also be defines as a stuffed cheese mushroom burger). Last time we Also had the grilled chicken sandwich which was very good. My son ordered the margherita pizza which tastes pretty good as he devoured the entire thing. This restaurant use to have An offer available on restaurant dot com, so please make sure that offer is still available. The ambiance is okay and this place is small in size. The service is fast and efficient and the waiters are very friendly. We will definitely return.

My 2nd time eating Bosnian food. Cevapcici sandwich was excellent! No side needed with a sandwich that large and good! Highly recommended.

First time trying Bosnian food and I couldn’t have picked a better place. The food here is incredible, with great service to match it. The staff is attentive and willing to help explain the menu. Like everyone suggests, definitely get the Meza appetizer if you’ve never been here before. Eat it as an entrée if necessary because it’s huge. The flavors, the presentation, the combinations with the hot lepinja bread… amazing! Meza($ 9.99) — comes with smoked/dry meats, roasted red peppers, gouda/feta cheese, olives, a saeurkraut-stuffed pepper, and two ridiculously addicting sauces — the pepper-based ajvar, and cream-based kajmak. Mixing and matching all these components with your Bosnian pita bread is an adventure on its own, and it’s as fun to eat as it is delicious. Honestly one of the best things I’ve eaten in my life. Cevapcici($ 7.99) — this thing is enormous, and apparently not supposed to be eaten like a sandwich. I loved the complex, smoky flavor of the grilled sausages in conjunction with the provided kajmak, raw onions, and torn off pieces of lepinja. I’m usually disappointed by the dryness of grilled meat at most Mediterranean restaurants, but not here. The sausages were nice and juicy, some of the best skinless sausages I’ve had. Only thing I didn’t like was that the bread was slightly soggy on the inside, but it’s meant to be like that. Grah($ 8.99) — very similar to Mexican charro beans. Soft pinto?-like beans in soup with onions and smoked beef. The soup was savory and not too salty. It’s up there with the best frijoles charros I’ve had, but I don’t think I could eat it by itself as an entrée. The bread helps, but it’s still too large. This would be great as a smaller side dish. Japrak w/mashed potatoes($ 11.99) — the only plate I wasn’t absolutely blown away by, but it’s still quite good. I just thought the ground beef and rice inside the leaves were too soft and mushy. The beef definitely wasn’t as tasty as the beef in the grah and the cevap. I really liked the sauce though, but I’m not sure what it’s made of. Baklava($ 4.99) — homemade by the owner’s mom. Unbelievable. I’m gonna start sounding like a broken record, but this was THEBESTBAKLAVA I HAVEEVEREATEN! It’s absurdly rich and even topped with powdered sugar, but all worth it. This is what I’ll have when I’m ready to kick the bucket. This place gets compared to Café Pita often but the food is so good here that I don’t care. I’ll be back for more amazing Bosnian cuisine.

I had bought their daily special, steak salad. Meat was tender and well seasoned. But there wasn’t anything that made me want to get it again. If I had to be nit picky, the greens/leaves were cut a little longer/bigger for my taste about an inch and a half to two inches. For $ 9.99 bowl of salad, I think there’s nothing too special about it except for the jalapeño ranch dressing. I even found an ice cube on my bowl, which I get if the veggies needed to be chilled. But was hoping for it to be taken out when served otherwise the dressing will be diluted and veggies soggy. Service was okay, I never got a refill on my drink though :( Overall, it is a safe choice if you want to get your Mediterranean fix. I have yet to try other things on their menu, perhaps when I get a friend to try another entrée with me. Ps. Their free crepes offer requires for you to purchase two entrees to avail them.

I can only describe this place as amazing. I drove out of my way because I was in the mood for cevapi just like I had it in Croatia last summer. I had read other Unilocal reviews so decided it was time for me to try it. The menu has the usual Bosnian fare. I ordered the mezza appetizer and was so impressed. It was my first time tasting a pickled pepper and it was so delicious. All offerings pared well together! This is a must order!!! Next, I ordered the cevapi sandwich and Burek. The cevapi sandwhich is delicious! It is ground beed links with different spices! The burek is a stuffed cheese pastry that you can either get with spinach or meat. Again, this was amazing. All the selections were great and since my lunch companion was Bosnian, he confirmed authenticity for me! Definitely stop by and try this place.

My boyfriend raved about Adel’s gyros for awhile, so we decided to try it. The people were okay. Our waitress didn’t really pay much attention to us. She kinda looked passed us until I was able to get her attention. Although we went for lunch, we finished and left as everyone was rushing in. We both got the gyro plate with fries. The gyro meat was basically in like a big pita bread, but the bread wasn’t very tasty in my opinion. It was really dry and there wasn’t enough sauce on mine. The meat didn’t taste that great, and it had a weird flavor. I basically drenched everything in ketchup so I could finish my meal. I tried using the Unilocal offer, but they refused because they said two gyro plates didn’t count as 2 entrees. 3⁄5 for service, 2⁄5 for food, and for not being able to use the Unilocal offer.

Tried this little hidden gem this evening, and must say I was quite impressed. Mediterranean Bosnian food, never had before but… YUM! They’re stuffed cabbage rolls were just the right size and full of flavor. Served with mashed potatoes, almost as good as the hubs! Man had they’re beef stew, sooooo tasty(even for a warm evening). Homemade bread, crepes with strawberry sauce or Nutella. Our hostess, waitress and restaurant manager all in one was friendly, outgoing and so helpful! She let us know they were low on bread and gave us several suggestions(in case we went down the sandwich route). Loved her attitude and how upbeat and friendly she was. We’ve both decided to go back… try more from their menu and get to know the people there. Great atmosphere too, not loud and bright or dark, just right!

Would have never heard about or found this place without Unilocal.Rare midweek day where I was home so was looking for something new for me. Narrowed it down to Adel and Aguirre’s Tex-Mex. The owners are so friendly. I am not sure what makes the place Bosnian because the menu seemed Mediterranean but they have great choices. The Mezza platter appetizer is easily enough for 2 – 3 people. It included cheese, cured beef and what looked like a salami. Add roasted tomato dip with cheese spread, roasted peppers and olives and you have a wonderfully diverse start. I opted for the lunch special which was a gyro salad(Greek with lamb meat) and it was fresh, savory and wonderful. I washed it down with an interesting Ginger and Peach tea. I saved the baklava, crepes and other desserts for another time. Can’t wait to come back and try one of their entrees. The owner made a point to tell me that they serve lamb shank as a special on Friday’s. I also confirmed that you can bring your own wine, which is always a plus!

Tip: Get the Meza appetizer, Sakavci(meatballs), Cevapcici(sausage), and Lamb shank. The stuffed burger is ok. Food: We never had Bosnian food before. The Meza appetizer is a great way to start with a variety of flavors from sour to salty. For the main courses i originally went to try their stuffed burger called Plieskavica. Like someone else mentioned though, i also thought there was too much bread. Its good but not outstanding. The lamb shank and meatballs were real good. Meatballs had rice in them which made it less firm and a little soft which was ok by me but had great flavor. Cant go wrong with lamb shank. The surprise was the sausage. It comes with a cup of cream cheese. The cream cheese and sausage together was an awesome mix of flavor. We also got the crepes which was also very good. Place: small place. About 6 – 8 booths and 4 tables. Clean. Service: the waitress who i assumed is part owner, was very friendly and makes some suggestions. She was very attentive too. Price: expect to pay about $ 10 – 13 a plate

We arrived around 7PM on a Tuesday — and it was not crowded at all. The hostess did say that it does get crowded during lunch time and Friday evenings, an we can see why — excellent food! Our hostess was very friendly — explain the ingredients of each dish. We started off with some Humus as an appetizer — very good, and we ordered Cevapcici(«homemade» Bosnian sausage) and Japrak(green collard rolls stuffed with rice and ground beef). Even if you are not adventurous — try out this Café — you will be happy you did. BTW — location of the Café is between a TAX business and a Donut shop — on FM529. We missed it the first time around because the Café Adel sign was out…
