Such a lovely place to have a Sunday brunch. The restaurant has an interesting backdrop of Portifino, Italy. A piano player plays smooth and relaxing jazz well paired with your meal. The ambiance is overall pleading and perfect to take your wife/girlfriend. The food, although small in portion, is extremely tasty and worth it. Exquisite combinations of poached egg with basil and maple syrup blew my mind. Like a fine wine this is a place to both savor the food and the ambiance.

We came here because we saw the Unilocal pictures and wanted some breakfast food. We saw the egg Benedict and we thought ooooh yeah. We didn’t check the menu like we usually do(bummer.) Arrived here around noon and it was pretty empty, the atmosphere was more on the fine dining side. We were a little bit underdressed, but our server was still very kind to us. The service is what gave away the fine dining feel, along with the menu, a little overpriced in my opinion. We started off with the hummus platter(3⁄5): it was a lamb mixed hummus and I wasn’t a bit fan, although the pita chips were really good. Lobster bisque(4⁄5): creamy and really good. A small amount of lobster but still pretty tasty. A cup should suffice because it is really heavy. Chicken piri piri(3⁄5): the creamy sauce was really good on this dish and the presentation was amazing! The chicken breasts were cooked well but the vegetable mix that it came with didn’t blend well. I would probably opt for substituting a different form of veggies next time. Lasagna(5⁄5): YUM! It was a very tasty dish, and it definitely satisfied my lasagna craving. The crunchy toast it came with paired perfectly. Lobster risotto(1⁄5): I would avoid this dish. No lobster to be found in it, it was also really really heavy and thick. We barely touched the dish and just had to take it to go and hopefully we’ll be starving enough to eat it lol. We had a few other dishes but they weren’t too memorable. Their cappuccinos are good as well. The service was on point, I literally never needed a refill because after a few sips someone would come and refill my tea right away. I would recommend, but only if you’re in the mood for a pricier brunch

This place is not a walking distance from my place but I have walked here because I am strange? They have a great tiny patio(dog friendly). It’s a good option for Breakfast/Brunch. I love their Tuscan Waffles, they are made with rosemary and basil and smell heavily. I have been coming here ever since I moved around this area. This place can be romantic at night, they play live piano at dinner time. The food here is great, they have good seafood selection(Grilled Salmon and scallops). I want to end my review here. Thank you.

Another great meal and dining experience. Reservations are always on a timely basis and an assigned table is waiting for you. The food is delicious and if you want something not on the menu, just ask. If they have the ingredients, they will make it for you. All of the staff, from the servers up to the owner, will make you feel at home, and you will quickly become part of the Café Benedicte family. In addition, there is entertainment most evenings providing background music without interfering with dinner conversation.

My friend and I went here for brunch with high hopes. We even made reservations just in case. At first, our waiter was very attentive and constantly coming around but it was clear as more parties started arriving at the restaurant our server barely then came over to our table. He wasn’t a friendly waiter either. My friend’s food was reheated in the microwave and undercooked. Her eggs were very rubbery and her potatoes were soggy. Mine was over sauced and potatoes were soggy. We were very disappointed and needless to say we will not return here again.

Food is overpriced and tasteless. Portions are average, but the deal breaker is how close to a Denny’s if not worse quality of food. I’ve been here twice. One for a weekday lunch, another for Sunday brunch. Both times I was really disappointed with the food. Flavorless, overcooked, cold and stale. I had to ask multiple times to get my coffee cup filled and once filled, waiter did not check other guests at the table who also wanted more coffee. The live pianist is great on Sunday, lovely ambiance and family owned from what I observed. The owners are very very friendly. I do wish them the best however I will not be returning due to the food.

We had a lovely evening in this delightful restaurant. The atmosphere was modern yet homey. The bread was yummy! The waitstaff was friendly, fun and delightful. The food came out together. No easy chore for a party of 10. We enjoyed kabob, blackened redfish, salads, beef dishes, scallops and a bunch of other stuff with no whining or complaining. :)(no easy chore…) definitely give this one a go!

We had The Skillet and the Spinach Omelette. Both dishes were great. The vegetables were very fresh and not over cooked. The Mimosa and Bloody Marie on the brunch menu was also prepared well. Nice ambiance– the pianist added a nice touch to the afternoon.

The worst service, worst brunch experience and worst food I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I have no words for my disappointment in this place…

This is a very small and lovely restaurant. I met my «housewives» here for lunch a few week back. and I really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious and the apple martinis(which all of us ordered) were really good. not too sweet nor tart. This place has a beautiful wall that I’m GUESSING is a mural of Italy. it has the overlook view of the ocean from the villas. NICE for a picture. Looks like we were actually dining in that place on the mural. The prices are midpoint. not cheap and not over the top. I think I may return…

We love this place for dinner … have never been here for brunch, but we’re not much on those meals. The menu is varied, with a Mediterranean accent, food is always fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff is warm, friendly, very efficient, and the owners are always on the floor, making certain that all is to the customers’ satisfaction. The pianist at dinner hour adds an elegant touch … he’ll play pretty much anything you like, and probably knows every song ever written. While complimentary valet parking is available, there are plenty of self-park spaces in the strip center, especially at dinnertime, when the other stores are closed. Prices are fair, given the quality of the product and the ambiance. My personal favorites are the paella and the pork chop. There are special dinners during the week, and you’ll always get a heads-up e-mail to whet your appetite. If you’re looking to dine out with a group, look no further. Our party of 16 was seated in the Wine Room … and once again, the owner was there to answer any questions about the menu, and to assure that the food and service were first-rate. All of us raved about our experience. You’ve got to give this restaurant a try … guaranteed it will make your short list of places to dine.

Great service and staff. Very Welcoming! Food was very good for brunch. My table ordered the skillet, chicken crepes, smoked salmon asparagus and omelet. Most of the food needed alittle salt but overall vey happy with the chosen dishes. $ 5 champagne was an added bonus as well!

First time here! We went for brunch on Sunday. Atmosphere is upscale but most people were dressed casual. Live piano player who will take requests also. We all ate from the breakfast menu, they are known for the eggs benedict. Our family had eggs benedict, omelette, and French toast. Everything tasted wonderful! Service was quick and very attentive. While we ate, the chef came out to table to personally ask how is everything. You can tell they care about the quality of food they put out to their customers. I’m sure we will be returning for brunch soon. If you like breakfast, and especially eggs benedict give this place a try.

We went in a group of 7, I called in 20 minutes previous to make reservations on a Saturday. The costumer service was great, our server was even funny and talked to us about where we were from. We all laughed had a great time and everyone’s meal was delicious. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Went here for brunch around 1pm yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the interior as the exterior looks kinda«meh.» Well there was a guy playing the piano and nice high ceilings with kind of a mediterranean décor/colors. My bf got the eggs benedict and I got the breakfast tacos with angus beef. All of it was really good! The tacos were pretty greasy though and my fingers were shiny with oil as I ate them… maybe all the fat from the beef… Dunno exactly. They provide a side of potatoes, grits, or fruit with these so we both got fruit. They also have complimentary sourdough bread and butter/jam which was great! Also got an order of pancakes(which is a small-sized 3-stack) which was yummy with syrup! The patrons here are a little older and snooty though so that kinda killed it for me, as it always does(whomp whomp), hence the 4 rather than 5 stars. It’s in the Energy Corridor close to BP, maybe that’s why. Either way, that’s not the restaurant’s fault. They also have a couple of tv’s at the bar by the entrance if you wanna watch the game. Well enjoy! :)

Discovered this place for a light dinner on Friday night and enjoyed it so much we came back for brunch on Saturday morning. We are from out of town and it was the closest place your hotels good Unilocal reviews but honestly-the mussels in white wine blew us away as did the salmon quesadilla. Dinner w drinks for only $ 44? Amazing. Brunch was just as good. $ 5 Bloody Mary’s and the Béchamel Crepes are to die for. While I would never live in this city w all of the traffic and high humidity –I will be back to this restaurant when I’m in town again.

I went here this past Saturday with my best friend and her boyfriend for breakfast. I read the rave reviews and I was looking forward to a breakfast that knocked one out of the park. Lately, the places I’ve been going, despite amazing reviews, have been falling incredibly short. Well, I’m sad to report Café Benedicte wasn’t all I hoped it would be either. I would give 4 stars for the food, but the service was spotty, and that’s what knocked it down to 3. We arrived about 9:15 a.m., just fifteen minutes after opening. We were seated and asked for our drink order. When the server came back with drinks, he asked if we needed more time, which we did, and didn’t come back for quite awhile. We said we needed just a few more minutes, not 15 – 20. When he finally came back, we all ordered. I will say that the food came out fairly quickly, which was nice. I ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict, my friend the breakfast tacos, and her boyfriend the skillet. Everything on the plates was presented beautifully. I could tell the English muffin was toasted well and the eggs cooked perfectly. But, the hollandaise sauce. Come on, man. That is what MAKES this dish. There was barely any. Now, I understand I’m probably in the minority because I like a good amount of sauce, but seriously? This didn’t even cover the eggs. Everything else was on point, the salty Canadian bacon, English muffin, and eggs. But the sauce. I NEEDMORESAUCE. So, like I said, the food is 4 stars for sure, and could have easily been 5. At this point in the meal, I was willing to overlook the extreme delay in taking our order. The server showed up once to check on our food, and we even had a manager stop by as well. But then… no check. We were all done with our food and we waited at least 20 minutes before a check was even brought over. I can understand delays when a restaurant is packed… but this was anything but. There were maybe 3 – 4 other tables. After this second delay, I just simply couldn’t overlook it. I would definitely be willing to try this spot again because there’s so much potential in their food. The restaurant itself is also gorgeous. I hope they step up their service so I can come back!

In town for a soccer tourney! This was the perfect lunch and they have a nice wine selection as well. The food is very well prepared and tastes better than you will find at most high end, high priced restaurants downtown. I had the North African Beef and Chicken with couscous. Absolutely delicious!(Attached picture) Sad I don’t live closer. A MUSTTRY! Will not disappoint.

The food, the music, the service was exceptional. You can come here for breakfast, brunch or lunch and you won’t be disappointed. We came on a Sunday around 12 and they had live music, which was exquisite taste and we didn’t have reservation and let us sit as soon as we got here. I don’t give them a five star just because the parking is not big enough and for the quality of food and service I know they will get crowded and crowded. I would recommend valet as well.

I’m really feeling 2.5ish for Café Benedicte but being the holiday season and all, I’ll lean my experience closer on the 3 side. My company chose CB for our annual Christmas luncheon. I’d never been, passed it many a times so I was excited to indulge on company dime. That parking lot situation though… man, good luck with that! Maybe it’s not much of an issue on a normal day but it seemed like 2 company events were taking place and you really had not much choice but to valet. I don’t know if it’s free or not(wasn’t worried since again *company dime*) but I would hope so considering the lot is extremely small and shared with other businesses. The service felt really rushed and the server for my particular table was short in his responses. He actually acted pretty annoyed, but I chalked it up to him perhaps feeling overwhelmed. But he never missed a beat, that much I will tell you. I asked for lemonade while he was going around taking app orders(because my coke absolutely sucked) and he said uh huh, ok and continued around the table. I was for sure thinking he would forget but he didn’t! Overall though, they did an good job refilling drinks and removing finished dishes. Regarding the most important item… the food! Well hmmm it didn’t suck but it was nothing to pick up a pen to begin writing home about. I ordered the crab cake for app(decent but bready and on the salty side with some olive like things), souvlaki with beef, shrimp, fish and veggies as an entrée. I thought it was pretty good but the fish was not. The portion was very small and only had 3 little pieces of mini beef. I really hope that’s not indicative of normal because I wouldn’t pay very much for that dish. Dessert was really good and even though it’s only been a week ago, I don’t have one ounce of memory about what it was. I just remember it being very good… All in all… I like the atmosphere of Café Benedicte. I’d be willing to try it out during a normal dining experience to delve more into their menu…
