Not impressed at all. The restaurant has a weird smell, perhaps a plumbing issue. 1. The water tastes sour. It has such a nasty taste and an even worse aftertaste. I couldn’t even drink it and I had to order a Sprite to kill the taste. 2. My boyfriends food was very flat. He ordered a St. Arnold and it was really bad. 3. We ordered the Hummus which was okay, the pita bread was really good though. A bit addicting! 4. I ordered the Anaheim chicken dish as previously seen on these reviews. The chicken was good however the veggies looked and tasted like the came out of a microwaveable steamed bag. The rice was hard and pretty mediocre for basmati rice. 5. The restroom was filthy(we came on a Thursday night at around 9:00) 6. Our waiter was very nice and he deserves the three stars. I will not be returning!

This place is very delicious and the server is very nice. The mimosa’s are amazing here too. But the hostess was very rude. I guess because we are only in our mid 20’s assumes that we don’t have money. She never asked if we wanted to sit inside or out side, when I asked her to sit outside she never offered shade or sun and sat us in the first table she found with all of the sunlight. As more customers arrived I heard her asking them where they wanted to sit and all that jazz because they look like they have money. Very disgraced by this since I’m in the service industry myself.

Been here a few times. Love the southwestern caesar salad with chicken added. Fresh lemonade is awesome! Alcoholic beverages are always to my liking, meaning the right amount of alcohol. Not a fan of the hummus!

Good place to take yourself on a date. Chill, relaxing. Awesome bar nextdoor. Love to lounge around and shoot the shit with the bartenders. Who are totally on point, btw. It’s changed a lot since I started going.

We came for brunch and had no trouble getting a seat. My girlfriend recommended the burger since she had been here before and knew the burger was good. I ordered the ½ lb. smoke house burger medium rare. I’m pretty big on burgers, so to be fair I’m a little bit of a critic. It certainly wasn’t the best burger I’ve tried, but it was tasty and evenly made. It wasn’t overly cooked, nor undercooked. The presentation was an A. My problem was the bread to meat ratio. There was too much bread for what meat was available. The meat was good, but a bit dry. Some burgers get messy from meat juice. This one got messy from the condiments and tomatoes. The fries came with a nice seasoning. I would say overall it was about a 7.5 out of 10 burger.

Such good food it’s hard to try new things because you know what you like is amazing! The strawberry lemonade is probably the best I’ve had and the gyro is so good! The fries that come with it are fresh, hot and they give you a large portion. We always get the hummus too and you get lots of pita bread with it along with celery. Just typing this makes me want to go back! The portions are huge and you can definitely take home food or split entrees.

I’ve always enjoyed this neighborhood restaurant, and tonight’s dinner didn’t disappoint. The shrimp was fresh and pasta perfect. However, tonight I ordered dessert for the 1st time. Mmmmm! The cappuccino and carrot cake was delicious! I’m thinking about starting with dessert 1st on our next visit.

I actually enjoy Hungry’s food and atmosphere at the Memorial location; however, the manager(Sarbod, I believe is how it is spelled) is rude, impatient, and severely lacks in his customer service skills. Although I’ve eaten in the restaurant many times, we also enjoy ordering to-go. On this particular occasion, I decided to try the online ordering application that they have started to offer. I mistakenly placed the order for the Rice Village location, so I called their restaurant to have the order transferred to Memorial. They were great about the issue. However, when I called the Memorial location to confirm that they had received the transfer order I spoke with a woman first, who had to understandably place me on hold to check for the order. A second man then answered a few minutes later to inquire as to why I was on hold. I explained the issue again and he placed me on hold to check the status of the order. Again, understandable. A few minutes after that, a third man then answered(Sarbod, the manager) who abruptly interrupted me during my explanation and stated that they had received the order(in an annoyed tone). When I thanked him and asked for his name, he once again interrupted me and stated that he was the manager and spelled his name quickly twice. I sarcastically thanked him for his patience and he hung up on me without any closing. I assume it was busy being a Saturday night(although, it was early…5:50 p.m.), but being the manager, I would’ve expected a bit more professionalism. Hence, the three stars.

Good happy hour deals, but food for dinner was just OK.

Sitting outside is where it is at. Great patio with good service. The food is always tasty & the beer cold — and they have an okay beer selection to boot.(Saint Arnolds, Karbach, some other crafts) I am not sure how I’ll feel about this place when it is too cold to eat outside though. The inside seems just like any other blah restaurant. Maybe they’ll have heaters for the winter!

I’ve been eating at Hungry’s for about 3 years now but had brunch for only the 2nd time yesterday and it was AMAZING. I wanted to go brunchin’ in the Heights somewhere so I could sit on the patio and sip on a mimosa while watching football. However, my guy wanted to stay close to home so Hungry’s we went(I just really wanted their Strawberry mimosa). He had the eggs benedict which was served with red potatoes and fruit. I had the quinoa kale patties(gluten free, veg) which was served with a side salad and fruit. Both were incredibly delicious and pretty much guilt free. They have a large patio area although it gets pretty packed on Saturday/Sunday for brunch. Drinks are a little pricey($ 6 mimosa/$ 25 carafe mimosa, $ 7 bloody mary) but worth it.

It’s a cute neighborhood spot. I would say this. Clean your air vents, floors and fix the cushions in your booths. The unkept and dirty front of house makes me very cautious of the cleanliness of their back of house. We had the kale salad on their everyday menu and it was fresh but someone needs to taste their food before serving your customers. The dressing was so acidic and vinegar overpowered your dish which negated any other flavor in the salad. Also it was so overly dressed that there was a pool of the liquid in the bottom of my salad. The fish tacos while they were good also had a wilted quality in the coleslaw you serve because again too much breaking was used.

Quick service, there’s a walk up counter that you can order from and your food will be brought to you — so if you don’t have time to talk to the waiter/waitress, this seems like a good option. Otherwise service is the same between traditional sit-down versus counter ordering. The food is pretty solid; I had only been to the other Hungry’s location in Rice Village, but it tastes pretty similar though there are some subtle differences in how your food is presented to you, no big deal though. Plenty of parking, not sure what the valet situation is here since the booth exists, but there are plenty of spaces you can pull into on your own. I’d come back in if I needed to grab a quick lunch(I was in and out in under 30 minutes)!

Hungry’s is an energy corridor classic. It has healthy food. It also has a lounge type bar and a really good patio that stays open late. This is one of the few places in the area geared toward a younger crowd, so it’s pretty much a go to place in the area. By «geared toward a younger crowd,» I mean it has modern décor and stays open late. This area is an older part of town so that’s rare here. It’s a great place to eat during regular hours regardless of age. I’m docking them a star because I didn’t really like my cocktail on the last visit. A better cocktail menu is needed but otherwise this is a great place.

I have dined at both Hungry’s and prefer this location. Rice Village only has complimentary valet, and this Memorial location has both private and complimentary valet. The parking lines diminished in color so be careful about that. It’s not a big deal though. We were seated promptly and welcomed in both times I have been here for dinner and brunch. Laid back and unpretentious atmosphere. Food: I must comment that food here comes out very quickly. If hungry, add soup or salad for an additional $ 4! There is complimentary bread and jam/butter in the middle of the restaurant. Sizzling Gyros(3/5, Savory seasoned lamb and beef in a bed of caramelized onions, bell peppers, herb basmati rice, and jalapeño hummus with Tzatziki and two pieces of pita): I must have been extremely hungry because this is definitely a 2 people platter. There were probably 8 pieces of lamb and beef that was more than enough. I made my friend eat some of mine after she finished her plate. I was a fan of the Tzatziki sauce with this dish more than the hummus, maybe because of the cool texture. Personally, I wasn’t a big fan of Hungry’s jalapeño hummus even alone with the pita bread. You can ask for more pita bread because 2 was not enough. Rice was actually bland but burnt from the sizzling platter. This was served like a fajita plate, if that makes sense. One of Hungry’s favorites off its menu. Organic Veggie Quinoa Eggs Benedict(3/5, Two organic quinoa and kale patties with poached eggs topped with honey habanero sauce, with mixed green salad and fresh fruit): I was slightly disappointed with the honey habanero sauce. It wasn’t that spicy nor sweet, just there. It was kind of bland honestly. Mixed green salad was decent and the fruits were deliciously sweet. The organic quinoa and kale patties were soft and seasoned nicely. Poached eggs were perfect as well. Croissant French Toast(4/5, Topped with strawberries, banana and maple syrup): This is definitely for those who love sweets if you pour all the maple syrup onto the croissants. It was too sweet in my opinion but delicious! The croissants were fluffy, buttery, and savory… I could have eaten all of them if it wasn’t for the syrup. Personally, I would pour about a third of the given syrup and dig in. Order a side of bacon with this! Waiters were great and offered their own opinions about dishes we queried about. They were around to fill our glasses to the top but not too much where it was excessively annoying. I would definitely come again. Lovely neighborhood restaurant for all with a good selection. PS, dance your feet to the NextDoor cocktail lounge if in the mood, next door.

I went to Hungry’s for lunch with a couple of my friends. The place wasn’t that busy for peak lunch hours so we were seated immediately. I had order the spicy shrimp taco with house– made black beans(three flour tortillas containing: shredded cabbage, lettuce mixed in a honey habanero aioli sauce) for 13.00. Even though it was a bit pricey for a lunch entrée it was delicious! One of my friends ordered a Gyro pita with hand-cut fries for 12.00. Again a bit pricey for a lunch menu but they really enjoyed their meal, especially the hand-cut fries! Overall service was great from the free valet to the waiter assisting us on every need. Would definitely come back again!

Initially I was not a big fan of this place. Quality of food and selection has improved tremendously. Good variety of sandwiches, entrees, salads and small plates. On a decent day nice patio to sit out to eat. Biggest downside to this location is parking. So if dining for lunch, I would suggest showing up at 11:30am to avoid the rush and limited spaces. Otherwise valet parking is always the default.

They place was so good! Started off with goat cheese bruschetta which was delicious creamy tasteful and I could eat it all day. I ordered the shrimp tacos which had slaw on top and it was bit spicy but very delicious I would order that every single day if I could get it. We also ordered the Philly cheesesteak po boy which came with fries and was good too. I would love to come back and actually try some of the things on the brunch menu. Which was our reason for going but we arrived late.

Tried this place out for breakfast last weekend. Huevos Rancheros are delicious! My husband has the Miya’s and they looked wonderful also. Love that they have complimentary breads and homemade jams to nibble on while waiting for your food. OJ was fresh squeezed and coffee was strong. We will defiantly be back here! Several tables were ordering lunch when we left and I’m excited to try many of the other dishes on the menu!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they do brunch on the weekends here. One of the great things about this place is that they have a very big menu and many different types of food to choose from, including sandwiches, pastas, breakfast items, seafood and salads. I had the migas with roasted new potatoes and it was delicious! Our waiter was also very nice and provided great service.
