This is more than a place to grab a delicious meal — it’s also a community gathering place. This is one of my favorite spots if I want to work away from home or have a business meeting. They have consistently good food and service. I am a big fan of their combination meals, a great value for the price. Plus, good free WiFi!

This one and the post oak location are the best and the courtyards are so awesome for the family and kids.
Do not go to the Meyerland location.

I usually get pasta or the kids mac & cheese here just because it’s cheaper and it fills me up but today I thought I would try something different I got the mushroom & spinach burger which was $ 11 and it was probably the worst burger I’ve ever had. It tasted burnt and the mushrooms and spinach tasted like nothing. I’ll stick to me $ 5 Mac I guess

Always loved their salads! The shrimp Greek salad used to be my all time favorite. Now it has been replaced by the shrimp salad. Great dining atmosphere! Great place for hanging out!

I like most of their locations in Houston. This particular one gets super busy!!! I really like the «feel» of this one better. Always clean when I’m there. Avoid the weekday lunch rush hour! It gets crazy busy! I came here today for lunch at 11:30am and already the place was filling up fast! Must try is their French toast! It is the most delicious dish by far in comparison to any other French toast I’ve had! Something magical in their toast! Always made to perfection! A great selection for lunch is the petite combo. This can fill you up with select sandwich, salad, and a soup. Pretty filling for one person. Not sure why they call it petite, unless it’s a bit of everything. Oh, don’t hesitate to sign up for their emails. They offer BOGO entrees and complimentary birthday dessert. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

I’ve been to this location 4 times. Each time my order has been incorrect. 3 times by the cook and the manager even made my salad wrong. Yes. A salad. Turkey Cobb no avocado and no bleu cheese. I don’t think that’s a hard order. I gave this place two stars because the manager that made my salad wrong was very nice.

The main reason I’m giving it such a poor review is because there were so many disgusting tables and there were no bus boys it seemed. From the moment we got in the building to about 30 minutes in, there were at least 8 tables that were dirty.
Overall this place is mediocre. Its along the same lines of panera. I enjoyed the fixin’ bar, which had things like sun dried tomatoes and lemons, limes and fresh mint.
I ended up having spicy Italian sausage pasta. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS. The sauce was very, very thin. It did not coat the pasta at all. It lacked seasoning and had no flavor. The sausage had a very overwhelming fennel flavor. I added a ton of cheese and sun dried tomatoes to give it some oomph.
Probably wouldn’t try this place again. I believe two stars in generous but it wasn’t repulsive but there is so much room for improvement.

This location is small by comparison to some of the other locations. To be honest it looks a little dingier in appearance. The food is great although prices have gone up. My favorite is the chicken and pasta pesto salad which is now almost $ 10.

They have good pastas but I feel the portion size are slightly on the small size. Havent tried the other items on the menu yet. I do enjoy their little bar of self serve pickled carrots, banana peppers, pickles, sundried tomatoes, etc. Its a very casual place where you order and pick up your food at the counter.

I have ordered catering twice from here for last minute work meetings, both breakfast and lunch menus. Both times, food quality is consistently good, food comes hot, presentation is very appealing, taste is great. I received several compliments from the staff for selecting this restaurant. The boxed sandwiches are a great deal, the portion size is phenomenal, fresh ingredients, excellent serving size. If you have not had their french toast, must make an effort to go and try. It is excellent!!!

The big remodel is over and the new look is astonishingly ugly. The food is still quite good but the ambiance is Fast Food circa 1990. Cold. Colorless. You do not want to sit and enjoy. We have

Came in here, the décor was decent but there were no menus as you have to order at the cashiers so theres a small menu at the top to view. If you dont have perfect vision you cannot read the menu. When our food came out the fries were cold. We sent it back and they refried the fries again and now they tasted strange. It didn’t taste fresh. We had a lobster roll which was 2⁄5 there was no sauce or flavor and the bread was stale. The chicken sandwhich was 3⁄5 it tasted like chik fil a or any other fast food grilled chicken sandwhich. Overall we are not impressed and wont be coming back. For something we can get that taste the same or better for less than the $ 36 we were charged.

Came in the evening, no line, fast service, no complaints. Always enjoyed the food from here. I wish they had a little more variety. First time to this location. There salads and pasta are awesome. Picked up hummus and soup.

Good place to eat a soup and sandwich or salad. Just be patient when trying to get condiments or drink refills because everone else is doing the same and usually at the same time. The space is limited but it’s worth it. I just smile and breathe deeply to lower my stress while waiting. Try the black current iced tea if you like tea. I personally mix the sweet tea with the unsweet black tea to reduce the sugar cuz it makes me fat.

Café Express has never let me down. The food is always perfectly fresh and hot. The noise is a bit overwhelming, but I’ve learned to get over it. We easily hit this place up every two weeks for lunch and the Uptown location is ususally where my bookclub meets up. It’s a crowd pleaser. And I do so enjoy adding mint to my water. Go figure.

Convenient and quick food. This café express is located in the Town and Country shopping area. It has plenty of parking. I’ve spent several morning here working on a project this week. They advertise their free WiFi and we took advantage of it. I spent so long here one day, I had both breakfast and lunch. The WiFi is reliable and fast. The food comes out quickly. There is plenty of seating both inside and out.
The french toast was just so-​so. It’s too heavily seasoned with some type of cinnamon and other breakfast –like spices. I just wanted french toast and they have to make it fancy with pecans and some strange syrup. The chicken sandwich at lunch was ok. I love the sweet potato fries.
I appreciate that they open early, have free WiFi, and are quick about getting food out. I do wish their chairs and benches had some padding. Hours and hours sitting on hard wood doesn’t equal comfortable.
