Food is tasty here but nit a big variety at all. I used to go here for lunch but not on the rotation any more. They have a corn grits that I liked a lot but not much else to add in my opinion.

Not sure why I’ve never reviewed this place. I like it, more 3.5 for me but the service is really nice so I kicked em up a notch. The first time I came was in their very early days and their stove(or gas) was not working. They served everyone who came in sandwiches/chips and drinks on the house. I thought that was pretty kick ass of them instead of closing their doors for the day. I chose the chicken salad and it was on point. I’ve come for lunch a couple more paying times. Tried the gumbo(pass), pastrami sandwich(really good), corn grits(decent), burgers(yum). I think it’s worth a try if you work in the area… groupon/yelp app deals floating around but you’ll need to bring a friend. It’s a lot of food trying to get to the min purchase(especially for the groupon).

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant disguised as a burger joint. The food is fresh, well prepared, placed on beautiful plates. I had the tomato soup. It rivals le Madeline as best in the city. They had a great Reuben, best I’ve had in houston. Not overloaded with meat but delicately balanced. My wife. Had a burger. Fresh bun; moist meat. My hope is they find a location that is more inviting. I root for this place and plan to revisit!!!

I am a fan of this place. I like the concept of having a lunch only establishment. Either you get there mid-day, or you don’t get to eat there! This place is Monday through Friday, 11am to 2pm. That’s it… no long hours… no weekends… just regular work week, lunch time eating. Because they are a limited eating diner, there are specials daily. You can either call them to find out what the daily special is, or you can just show up and read it on a white board. I have yet to do it, but there is a Monday cheeseburger special. For 5 dollars, you can get a cheeseburger and fries… not bad considering that the burgers are decent sized and not cookie cutter manufactured. If you are looking for value, take a look at your Unilocal app, or the business on the Unilocal website, and you will find a voucher for purchase that will allow you to eat at this place at a discounted price. I actually found out about this place via Groupon. With my deal, I came to find out that the dollar goes a long way here. The website is pretty informative for what they serve, but as aforementioned, call to see if there is something off menu that is being served as well. The day I showed up, they had fish tacos on the menu. I also noticed that they served Zapps potato chips, which is made in New Orleans, LA, so you know I have my biases with this place! Who Dat baby!!! I digress! I did not notice a television in the place, so if you are dining in, you better learn to actually communicate with each other! Nothing sadder than the modern diners, sitting with each other, at a table, and everyone has their heads down plucking away on their smartphone and/or tablet! I once again digress! This place has excellent service. Very friendly staff that will greet you and check to see if you need refills on your drinks and everything. With my Groupon, I ordered the following: Black N’Bleu burger — Topped with crumbles of tangy, real Bleu cheese, thick-cut peppered bacon, and seasoned with our blackened Cajun spices. Corn Grits Shrimp quesadilla — Served with fresh made salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. Chinese chicken salad — Shredded lettuce, chicken breast, carrots, toasted almonds, crispy won ton, rice noodle crunchies, and almonds tossed with Asian-ginger vinaigrette. White chocolate chip bread pudding Lemonade The side item… corn grits… interesting taste and texture. It is essentially corn intertwined in cheese grits to give you a nice grit along with sweet on occasional chews. The bread pudding was just okay. I ordered that for my wife, and she hated it because it had coconut in it! Lemonade was stock Coca-Cola product, so it is what it is with that beverage. The shrimp quesadilla was decent. There were plenty of side fixings to jazz them up. The Black N’Bleu burger is for those people that really like the taste of bleu cheese! The taste is pungent, but the burger was enjoyable. I wanted to try a different type of burger, and that definitely did the trick. I was truly surprised that I liked the Chinese chicken salad so much. Great blend of green with crunchies, and the dressing was really tasty. All in all, when I have a need for a different style lunch, I will find either the Unilocal deal via app or website, or see if Groupon has another deal, and hit this place up. There are plenty of things that I still would like to try. With the great staff, there is not a reason why I could think of why I would not be back. Give this place a try.

I was disappointed. I’ve heard good things about this place. I had a pepper jack cheese burger, which came out last even though I ordered first in my group, not that big of a deal, but I couldn’t even tell that the«cheese» on my burger was pepper jack, it looked more like cottage cheese. «It looked like someone smashed cauliflower on top of your burger» my coworker told me. And it tasted the way it looked. So honestly, not dying to come back. But to be fair it wasn’t all bad, the place is clean, the staff is friendly and it is very reasonably priced. My coworkers lived their hickory burgers, should’ve gone with that *sigh*

Had the roast po boy… and oh boy it was disappointment and lacked flavor. tasted like no salt gravy n chewy meat. Second star is for the $ 3.00 white chocolate bread pudding that was really worth $ 1.99 at most!

I love this place. The food is good — I love the Baja Chicken sandwich and the Skyline Spinach salad, and the people are friendly. Plus, where else can a girl find some yummy greats in the Park?

What can I say, I love this place! I’ve tried many items on their menu and several of their specials and have never been disappointed!(In fact, I’m sitting here right now Unilocaling about them! But shhh, don’t tell!) Ok, where was I? Oh yeah, I’ve tried many items here. From their DELISH Baja Chicken Sandwich to the AWESOME Mediterranean Burger(mushrooms, onions & Feta). And their salads… OMG, beautiful and palate pleasing! Ok, grits??? Well being from the North, I don’t like grits! They kinda gross me out a bit, but guess what? I can’t say«I don’t like grits» anymore, because I LIKE the grits at Café N’Dulge!!! The Shrimp & Grits are a must taste for everyone. And for you veggie lovers out there, I must make mention of the Mediterranean Hummus & the Veggie Burger(that may not be listed on the menu just yet, but go ahead and ask for it because they make it right there). They are both Vegtastic! Enjoy your visit here… You won’t regret it!

Can’t get any better than this when it comes to burgers. Small clean café that’s open M-F during lunch hours. I had the mushroom swiss and my husband had the blue cheese burger. She asked us how we liked it cook, I can see the flame grill in the back and smell the delicious food to come. It tasted as good as it smelled; juicy(not greasy like Smashburger) and very big patty served on sweet bun. I think it’s ¾ or 1 lb? It’s a bit bigger than Beck’s Prime and taste just as good if not better. I also love the crinkle fries. We will definitely come back and I would recommend this place for a good burger fix.

While waiting to have my car inspected next door at Auto Check, I decided to have lunch at this gourmet sandwich and burger joint, the menu is peppered with a southwest flare such as green chilies. Interesting salads such as the Thai Chicken and Skyline Spinach. I ordered a Baja chicken which came with choice of French fries, roasted corn grits or fresh fruit. I opted for the fresh fruit and was pleasantly surprised with the generous portion. The sandwich was huge, a large chicken breast with 2 large slices of tomato and a leaf of romaine, which is refreshing compared to typical iceberg lettuce. Also had a secret sauce and large slices of green chilies. The best part of the sandwich was the bun, sweet and lightly toasted. I saw someone order a sandwich with fries; they were the crinkly kind and looked nice and crispy, maybe next time…
