This place has good Kheema biryani. Weekdays Buffet is just average. We went around 1pm on a friday & they were already out of chicken gravy curry & dessert. When asked they were not able to refill the dessert. Highly Disappointed! Last week they have a New Management banner displayed outside their restaurant, hopefully they improve in service & serve good food.

Very good biryani and chili chicken. Most everything I tried was delicious. The tandoori chicken wasn’t hot, but everything else on the buffet was. Would definitely go here again.

This place has the most spicy Andhra/Hyderabadi Indian food on the block! We loved the dum biriyanis here. The additional advantage was it was in the Hill-croft area around Mahatma Gandhi district with several other Indian businesses and dozens of other North & South Indian restaurants, cafes, chaat places etc to choose from which was a cool thing! However coming back to this place we did not like the service! There were couple of goofy & stupid & dumb looking servers without any proper manners to begin with. There were these two stupid looking serving guy & a girl giggling away behind the counters nonstop or glaring at you all the time standing out there while you eat your food which was totally annoying! They looked fresh off the boat total whacko desi attitude which sucked & hence the three stars only for this otherwise nice place with great tasting food!

Best butter chicken I’ve ever had, I go there all the time and we love it! The garlic naan is a must! The lunch buffet is great during the week too! The food is always so fresh and the service is so fast! We go there at least once a week, best Indian food!

We had our kid’s birthday party for 50 people here. The entire experience from start to end was smooth. Sundar(the location’s manager) was a pleasure to deal with. He assured us that he will ensure the guests leave happy — and he did. He went out of the way to make the menu both kid and adult friendly. The food taste was exceptional and all our guests loved it(we had a mix of north and South Indian dishes). His team were friendly and were helpful. Highly recommended.

As someone who hails from Hyderabad I love the biryani at this place. On the weekends they have special biryanis too which are fabulous as well. Other than biryanis they have great appetizers and fast food items like onion mirchi bajji, pakora and samosas. I occasionally take my colleagues for buffet as well. They have many items in the buffet which gives opportunity to try different things for new comers and beginners. This my go-to place in Houston if I am craving Indian food and I highly recommend it.

Warm water, roaches, zero service. C’mon guys! Seriously? Went for lunch and the place looked busy which seemed like a good sign. Nope. Walked in and a man stood at the front staring at me instead of seating me or pointing me towards a table. I walked and sat at a table with a coworker. No one ever came to ask us for drink orders and I don’t really identify exactly who the employees were. We finally walked over to the buffet, grabbed a few things, sat at the table and saw there were four new cups placed on the table. I found out we had to serve our own water from a table covered in a bunch of plastic pitchers of warm water, some filled some empty. Mmmmm, love lukewarm water and zero service. Once we started eating my coworker asked me turn around. «Is that a fly?», she asked pointing to a creature walking across the wall behind me. «No, that is a tiny roach.», I replied. We then saw 4 more small roaches walking across the wall within 5 minutes. That was it, we told them we were not going to eat the food and we left.

A once good and crowded place has now turned out to be bad and empty. The tables, floors, cutleries and the overall ambience is neither neat nor healthy. Plates and spoons were not washed properly. Food wasn’t very tasty either. Chole batura was like samosa pieces made from frozen foods. Their speciality Biriyani too wasn’t as tasty as before. Mango lassi was even more horrible and did not seem fresh at all. After seeing little roaches flying on our table, we totally lost the appetite. Unless they make the ambience and cleanliness of the place better and bring back the quality of their food, I would neither go anymore nor recommend for anyone. Disappointed!

Absolutely love their biryani’s. Best Egg biryani in town. Huge disappointment to see the disappearance of their snack and pastries bar. They used to be very good. No frills restaurant. Easy to order fast service. I go there just for their biryani’s. But their appetizers are good too. Try their 555 spicy chicken.

I enjoy their biryanis, especially the boneless biryani. They also have vegetarian biryani, particularly the paneer one, which many vegetarians love. The food overall is good, staff are ok, could be more smiling while working.

I’ve had my fair share of Indian buffets. — Go to a wedding, anniversary, or graduation — Indian buffet — A family member comes to town — Indian buffet. — First meal after I move into a new apartment — Indian buffet. That being said, when entering any Indian buffet with the all so familiar aroma of Naan and curry lathered chicken and veggies. I come with pretty high expectations. Unfortunately, Hyderabad House failed miserably… twice. 1) This one just really set me off. Most Indian restaurants are generally a bit cheap when it comes to certain things like silverware, plates, tabling, etc. NEVER have I had to experience indian food with extremely warm water since THEYHAVENOICE! Its mindblowing especially considering their food can easily be considered spicy. Water comes in extremely warm and most likely straight from the tap, the pitchers used to refill look like they’ve been sitting around for days. It’s a real crappy situation. 2) They jip you on the seasoning for most of the items. It’s like they bought the basic masalas from the indian store and just mixed in the veggies and chicken. There were a couple of good items, but most of them are either standard or dry. Nothing special. 3) If you’re going to just do a buffet, the least you can do is have decent service, and if you do have your busboys come and«help us», train them so they actually know what they’re doing. Twice i asked for a coke, both times I got a nod and received nothing. Awesome. The sole reason I’ve added a star is because their Naan and Lamb Curry is actually pretty good. They cook it very well and it’s extremely tender. I’ll have to go to the local Indian store to find the spices they used. Final Verdict — don’t come here. If you feel the need to — just get Naan and Goat Curry.

The food is definitely good. Went back for lunch today. Saw another baby roach crawling on the plates at the buffet. Come on guys! Really? The food is worth 4 – 5 stars but I’ve seen roaches on more than one occasion now. I’m done.

Happy to find a good Indian restaurant right next door. So far, chicken lollipops as an appetizer and chicken tikka masala, plain rice and garlic naan as a main are both winners. Dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow. I’ll be back there soon.

I wanted to order something to go for lunch but it’s buffet only at that time. The food tasted fresh and authentic but nothing really stood out and made me say, «Wow!». I’ll definitely go back and give it another shot.

This review is for Lunch Buffter(And I am a Vegetarian). A south indian restaurant should not have an excuse ‘most of our crowd is non-veg’…really? No Idly, Dosa, Vada etc… only Mysore Bonda and Baby corn… both of which were bad. Veg Biryani… below average taste. 2 veg dishes… not good. No Paneer dish. Guy at counter told me that Naan will be served. Later I was told that there is no Naan… only Poori… that too very oily… not eatable. Curd rice… very dry. Rasam…below average. Dessert…i dont even remember what it was… not worth mentioning or trying. They have a buffet for name sake.(Unfortunately) pretty disappointing experience. I hope they improve their selection and taste.

I went and ordered to go for the dinner. I ordered chicken lily pop, chicken biryani. What I had noticed during my wait for my order to be made. Their was a table who Also ordered, chicken lily pop. The chicken lily pop was taken back to the kitchen, their some thing wrong with the chicken. So I get my order and get it home. I opened the chicken lily pop. And I find the chicken that was taken back in the kitchen was given to me. Because the chicken was eaten and had bite marks or someone took a bite of the chicken. Biryani was not that well as their was two piece of chicken and was dry. I will not go back and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thanks for the terrible food.

The bryani is great and so is the goat fry. Staff is friendly and place is clean. They also have food from other parts of south India. Goat curry is also a good dish to try.

Love coming to this place. The different biryani’s and dosas are phenomenal. I would avoid ordering the Saag Paneer though. It was blended too fine for my liking so it had a soup like consistency. This place is 1,000x better than it’s nearby competitor Annam.

OK. I should have given 4 stars, but i stick with 3 because i have my reasons. but for the impatient guys, yes this place deserves at least 1 visit I checked in for lunch here around may 2014 on a weekday and saw that they were grossly under prepared, with used plates lying around and buffet in a mess. I had given a negative feedback to the management before leaving on that day. I returned in May to be surprised. They have picked up pace very well. The food was arranged in neat indian steel vessels with a panache and the cutlery were nice and ordered. altogether presentation was great. true to its name they served biryani, naan, naatu kodi(gongura chicken), chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi, pakoda etc for lunch. Cant find a fault here, although no extremely satisfying the taste buds. the dishes were OK. but still does not justify the high price tag of 11.5 dollars. the desserts are still pathetic, just colored mixtures of sugar and god knows what.
