I have visited this place several times before but only ordered the crawfish. The last two times I come has been very disappointing. Both times I have ordered 2 lbs. crawfish, 1 lbs. jumbo shrimp, 2 lbs. king crab for 77.00 dollars and both times the shrimp were not cooked through and the crabs were old and chewy. I live too far away to bring the food back. Wasted money again. I called and was put on hold. Got tired of waiting and tired of being taken advantage of. Not fair at all Cajun Craven. But the crawfish were good. I’ll never buy shrimp or crab from again.

The food is so good and the service is great! I love the crawfish here! NOMNOMNOM I have to write a lot for this to be a review instead of a tip, everyone needs to know how good this little hidden gem is. Come check it out!

Service: Friendly as it mirrored southern hospitality. Staff was good about emptying our bowls filled with uneaten crawfish shells. They refilled our waters without being asked.
Food: I soldemly eat crawfish but their cajun sauce is on point; spicy and garlicky. Crawfish is a must eat here. The fries and fried rice were ok but once you mix in that cajun sauce. Lord, I think I might need a toliet because it’s about to get blown up. The gumbo was rich in flavor as well.
Restroom: It was clean but a one-​seater.
Being from Cali, I would definitely come back here when I visit.

The crawfish was very big and full of flavor. The server were extremely nice and sweet. I recommend the Cajun garlic butter. Buy 5 lbs or more and you get a better deal. Their fried seafood isn’t bad either. Comfortable and casual atmosphere. Would definitely come back.

The Cajun Craven has the best flavor of crawfish around. The craven sauce is so tasty and delicious. We discovered this little place about 2 months ago and have been coming once a week. Sometimes the service is off but they are always friendly.

Really good crawfish by my area. Can’t complain, quick service and really good customer service. I enjoy going to eat here with my family on the weekends. I highly recommend this place if you want to eat some delicious crawfish!

A little hole in the wall with great food! The crawfish were good and huge! They have an awesome garlic butter sauce which I recommend getting on the side. The hush puppies are really good too!

Small neighborhood place — we almost passed on it because parking was completely filled. I had a good feeling about this place and ran inside the Goodyear store next door and asked if we could park there. They were totally cool with it. Really glad because this place is a real gem. Super friendly wait staff are very attentive and they did a great job keeping us happy while the huge plump and juicy crawfish did the rest. They were running a special of $ 4.95 per pound if you bought 5 pounds. We also had a cup of both the crawfish bisque and the gumbo. Both were excellent! Better gumbo than Papadeaux by FAR! Big screen TV to watch the Astros was just a bonus! New fave place for my mudbug craving!

You won’t regret coming here, their crawfish is amazing! It has so much flavor. My husband & I get spicy with their garlic/​butter sauce. Sometimes I can’t take the heat, but I can’t stop eating it either haha.

So far this place is my number 3 place to go eat crawfish in the Houston area. Their service is great, they empty your shell bowls and check on you often. The crawfish is always cooked well and packed with flavor.

I went there with my sister last week and I was pretty impressed ! Fast service and everything came out nice and hot! I ordered the a bowl of Crawfish Étouffée and OMG it was so good and you get soooo much! It could literally feed 3 people we pretty much filled up on that… But we both ordered Po Boys they were HUGE ! I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy & my sister ordered the Crawfish Po Boy… It was okay not the best but okay… I felt like it was missing something? Also the tarter sauce didn’t taste like tarter sauce it tasted like some light mayo not bad tho… Next time I’m gonna try the crawfish !

Crawfish is always good and a decent size. Craven flavor is delicious! Perfect amount of spice, garlic and butter. Their blue crabs are just as good. Never fails to disappoint every time I go. The only problem however, is that every time I go I never seem to get anything to put my ketchup in to dip my fries!

My sister has been raving about this place for awhile and I’ve been hesitant to try something new other than Crawfish Café. But because this place was the halfway point from her house and mines, I decided to give this place a try. If you order 5+ lbs, you get a bowl of gumbo or an appetizer order of fried calamari for free. YOU MUST ORDER THE CRAVEN SAUCE!

I go here because it is down the street from my house. Their craven sauce is soooo delicious. Every time I come, the crawfish is so good and hot, frozen or live. Their gumbo is also super good. I definitely recommend this place to everyone trying to find a crawfish joint in southeast! The only downside is that they charge for dipping condiments like mayonnaise and butter.

Imagine the biggest oysters ever!
Now you don’t have to. Cajun Craven had the biggest oysters I have ever seen! They were massive!
It’s a hole in the wall place in SE Houston that serves crawfish among other cajun foods.
I came here after visiting the new Baybrook expansion because a friend told me to come by and check out the size of the oysters.
The good — the size and they were juicy!
The bad — they didn’t properly cut the muscle part out.
Overall, the oysters were fresh and highly recommended!
