Nice looking bar with an open patio seating so I’ll give it 2 stars for that. Otherwise nothing else is special. Drinks are mediocre and overpriced. You are looking at paying $ 3 for Michelob Ultra on draft during happy hour. Regular price would be $ 5!!! The bad part is the place is called Calamari’s but their calamari is not even good. It’s coated with a super thick batter and they gave you ketchup as the dipping sauce so that tells you a lot. The owner recommended us to try the shrimp tacos because it’s the top selling item but honestly it tastes like it came out of a frozen box at Sam’s or Costco. The bar staff doesn’t understand English and picked up our plate when we repeatedly told him we were still eating. The plate had no trash on it because we were still eating. He cleaned around our table and decided to dump all the crumbs and napkins on top of the plate. The manager offered to bring us another plate but we declined due to the loss of appetite. If he was a more considerate manager, he should have just removed that item off our bill. This place obviously needs to step it up service wise as else as quality wise in order to compete with the surrounding businesses. We won’t be back!

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to check it out. Bartender was nice. Prices are fair. Hip hop music was playing, i mean blaring to the point you have to yell to the person next to you. Feel bad for theneighborhood residents next door. I like loud music but this was over the top.

Is this place even open??? I have gone by four times during their published«open» hours and the place has been locked-up each time and now they are not answering their telephone today at 1PM after a supposed open time of 11AM(per their website).

Just checked this place out today. The food was pretty good and at a good price. I had the shrimp tacos and they were pretty tasty. My boyfriend ordered the gumbo and he liked it. It didn’t seem like typical gumbo but it was still good. Music was a little loud so we sat on the patio. Bartender was friendly and drinks were quick. We parked in the lot beside it but I’m not sure if that’s always an OK spot. Overall, I’d go back again. Its a good addition to the neighborhood.

Great atmosphere, casual and trendy… Calamari’s doesn’t owe me a thing. It was kinda dead when I went but they had a lovely patio with a plethora of seating. The service was great, they offered tasty drinks and some pretty good calamari along with something new that I had never had prior, Calamari rolls. Similar to the traditional egg rolls this app was very pleasing to my palate. Along with a cool atmosphere, good food, and drinks… Calamari’s also offered ping pong, bean bag toss, foosball, and a couple of those giant Jenga games. They had 5 televisions for viewing and a GREAT dj. All in all Calamari’s was a pretty good experience, I am definitely interested in going back to this place to check out more of the menu! Stay posted! ;-)

The wife and I wanted to do a little Sunday-funday, so we decided to check out this spot near the house. When we walked in we noticed the loud club music. It was a bit much for a Sunday afternoon, but we didn’t care. We sat out on the patio where the music was a little bit less obnoxious. Upon sitting down we noticed the smell of body odor. I am not sure where it came from but it came and went throughout our entire time there. The bartender brought us menus and we ordered mojitos. While making our mojitos he must have run out of an ingredient because he ran across the street to another bar for something. He then continued to make our drinks. While making our drinks he kept brushing his long hair with his fingers. It was a little gross. The drinks themselves were not good. They were very sour. I think they had lemons as opposed to limes in them. For a place called Calamari’s I was surprised that the only fish on the menu were tilapia and catfish. The drinks were pretty bad. I won’t be back.

This place is okay. It was not the best atmosphere. Much more of a bar than a restaurant. The TVs did not work.

My wife and I came her for steak night… We ordered the Ribeye it comes with match potatoes, steam vegetables and a beer for $ 17 and it was delicious. The staff is spectacular, great drinks, atmosphere, nice patio with open street view, best part they have pro ping pong tables and many more games to play with friends. Highly recommend!

After the experience we had last night, this is one of my favorites on Washington. The staff is super sweet and very welcoming, & the drinks are amazing. The bartender, although I didn’t get his name, was so nice as well. We will be back for sure, next time with friends!

Nice Sunday Spot. Really good layout, the drinks are good, service is great. Our bartender Sammy was very helpful, and answered all of our questions. The patio is really nice. I’m going to definitely make time to come here, and you should too. :) Prices are a little on the steep side.
