First time at Chili’s. Originally from New York so I wasn’t to eager to try another place that in my view was probably going to be like Apple Bee’s. But I was pleasantly surprised. Everything went well; didn’t wait long for my food. The service was excellent for this type of establishment. Our server, Paolo, was great and attentive throughout our whole stay there. And the food was very good! Will definitely come back.

I’ve been here a handful of times and never had any serious issues but this last time was awful. My friend and I seated ourselves in the bar area but decided we wanted to get an actual table due to the smokers near us. After 5 mins with no hostess in sight we finally sat ourselves. After about 10 mins we had a very sweet and helpful waiter. We ordered the cheese balls and fried pickles and I got a bud light. Food was fine. When it came time to pay we noticed an extra beer on our tab and tried tracking down the waiter but he hadn’t checked on us in forever. I also needed a to go box. After 20 mins we paid for what we ordered and I wrote him a note explaining why there was still that extra bud light on the tab. Service overall was terrible and to top it all off we both got food poisoning.

If you want to stand in the lobby for 15 minutes before anyone speaks to you or acknowledges your presence, this is your place! The place was slow– it’s Wednesday night. Smh

I only went here tonight because I was given a $ 50 gift card. The burgers were so salty I couldn’t finish it. The pickles were ok. The egg rolls were ok. Chips great. Service horrible. Tasted like another chain. Waste of a gift card should have went to Macaroni grill to use my gift card. Very disappointed.

I decided to go here with my sister because I was really craving Chili’s but when I got here the server was very short with us and was actually kind of rude. I wouldn’t suggest that anyone that I knew go there, very horrible experience.

We will never go to this Chili’s again. The first time we went there for our daughter’s birthday in August. They were understaffed and the service was terrible. We ordered a kid’s meal and the 2 for $ 20. They brought out our daughter’s food and half of our chips and guacamole. We got the chips and salsa and we waited another 30 minutes for the guacamole and had to pour our own water. After waiting an hour for our main course, my husband asked to speak to the manager. The manager never stopped by and we almost walked out. Thinking it might be a fluke, we went back for lunch in October, we waited for 10 minutes at the hostess stand to be seated. All the employees in the restaurant saw us but never acknowledged us. Needless to say we walked out. The final straw was on Sunday night, we ordered take out only because we had received a gift card. When my husband went to pick it up he had to wait 30 minutes when he got there because they forgot to put the order in and what they gave us were skimpy portions. They also forgot to give him the drink that came with our daughter’s order. After three fails, we won’t be going back. Hopefully they’ll close this franchise and put in a better restaurant.

I don’t know why I even gave this place another chance. Food is always mediocre and half the time is comes out cold. Today our table had tilapia and it was given to us cold. I also ordered Fajitas with shrimp and in the picture on the menu it depicts large shrimp with the tails and instead I got small pieces of shrimp enough for one serving. Definitely isn’t worth the price. I feel like they’re always understaffed as well. Our waitress tried to do her best to attend to us but even with the restaurant not being at a high traffic she seemed to have a lot to do and tried to compensate with what she could. So I don’t blame her for not being around frequently. Just not coming back even with the 2 for $ 20. It’s just not worth it if my food can’t be prepared properly.

I have to keep in mind that this is Chili’s and not you know a real restaurant but the fact that they still allow smoking is baffling to me. But if I have to compare this location with the many others well these guys are not even average. There are just too many other options near and around this location that the only time I end up here is when it is closer to 10 and everything else starts to close. I even walked out once after being told our option was to sit at the smoky bar or at table near a wall toward the front of the restaurant. I was told that the other sections were closed mind you it is only a step maybe two to the table we asked to sit at. The food here isn’t really ever good. The service even worse. The only thing these guys have are the drinks but the smoke keeps me away. They got a make over and it looks great too bad that is all they got going for them right now.

This specific Chili’s used to have pretty good service and decent food, but that wasn’t the case when I went this past Saturday. First, the waitress comes by with four cups of water and one had a sautéed onion inside of it. Luckily, she saw it on her own and brought us a new cup. The cups were dirty and looked as if they didn’t wash them. Ever. Also, there was an orange thing floating in my new cup. Then, the appetizers came out(I ordered the new hot wings). They were okay. We weren’t given any silverware or napkins to begin with so we had to ask for them. And we were promptly given plastic silverware in a bag that was probably taken from the IHOP near by. My chicken crispers came out half cold and half warm(not really sure how that happened). I am definitely not coming back. Maybe the Applebee’s next door will be better.

This chilies gave me food poisoning. I got the loaded potato soup which tasted horrible, more cheese them potato. I then switched soups and got a tortilla soup which was not any better. Since I got home I have thrown up about 15 times and I wish that was an over exaggeration. Will not return

I wish I could specify who I want my tip to go to. We did not even meet our waitress until after our food arrived. We had to flag down a manager, who promptly took our order and gave us «please forgive us and come back again for a free appetizer» coupon. Our food was then dropped off by a different server, who noticed that we needed refills. We requested to meet our waitress and asked that she refill our drinks. Before she stopped by our table, I over heard her speaking to another table about«the freaking skillet sides» and how the kitchen is all to blame for poor service tonight. Take ownership! The meal took 2 hours, my 9 month old was tired, and food was average. Get your act together!

Sucks to want service at Chilli’s because all you do wait. Everyone was busy in fact too busy to wait on us.

I got the rib-eye steak with a dos eqiuis. The steak was cooked how I wanted, and it was tasty. The mash potatoes were seasoned well and overall service was excellent! Our server Justin went above and beyond service!

I’ve been here a handful of times. The first time was good. It’s slowly, but surely deteriorated in cleanliness and service. We walked in and there was no hostess. The couple before us had to go to the kitchen to find someone to seat them. Our server, Hassen, was the one who had to seat us. He was great. He was the only thing that made this trip semi pleasant. From the moment we sat down, I was apprehensive about staying. I should have gone with my gut. The floors were dirty, the table next to us had dirty dishes on it from another table, another waitress had cleaned up. She walked away to take a personal phone call. They sat there for over an hour while we were there. We left and they were STILL there. There was a horrible smell(like a dirty mop was used to clean the floors). We won’t be coming back anytime soon. They need to hire more, personable and friendly people.

So, it’s Chili’s. Not really expecting much, right? Well, the presentation of the food was amazing! I was impressed when my Sweet and Smokey burger came out. Sauce was delectable, and plenty of bacon. But so much grease, it was drenched and soaked the plate. The service was so terrible. Fries out of the freezer, not even ranch could save them. We stood at the front door forever tonight and though a bunch of servers saw us, they refused to come and acknowledge us. Ended up seating ourselves in the bar. Took about ten minutes to get drinks and the server brought our food and never came back. We ended up just putting money on the table, hoping it was enough.

The food is ok. But«meh I’ve experienced better». I had the triple dipper(I eat appetizers as an entrée, don’t judge me) and had the big mouth bites(3⁄5), buffalo wings(3⁄5) in which I asked for bbq flavored instead of buffalo but they still brought me buffalo and also chicken crispers(like chicken tenders(2⁄5) and didn’t like it at all. My companions food wasn’t good either. Will never be back.

I used to go to this location quite often, but hadn’t been there in about a year. Something drastic has changed. The entire atmosphere seems as though you are an annoyance to their staff. Sure, they said the right words, but you can just tell that no one is happy. The entire restaurant seemed dirty. It used to be that the parking lot was packed all the time, and when we went last week, it was almost empty. That is always a bad sign. I will avoid going here ever again, and actually paints a bad picture for Chili’s in general. There are too many choices in Houston, so I will be trying some of those out in the future.

I know… it’s Chili’s, not a gourmet place… I had the mental bar set low for the stereotypical decent burger and fries at a little higher than it should be price at one of these chain places. However, I’ve got to say I was very pleasantly surprised by our more than anticipated experience! To start with the bad so I can end on a high note: there was no one there to greet is when we walked in and stood for 2 or 3 minutes. Once greeted and seated the hostess was quite pleasant and she said our waiter would be right with us… our waitRESS took several minutes to cone to the table bit did a GREAT job of service from that point forward. We were seated at a table near the kitchen entrance and could hear the kitchen staff talking loudly and playing around which was quite annoying… and since our food(even the chips & salsa appetizer) was a little slow to come to the table, I would tend to blame it on that lack of professionalism and focus. They also holler«corner» as they approach the entrance to the kitchen to alert their coworkers they are coming around that blind corner… I get it… but it’s jarring to be mid chat at your table and have them yell out. The GOOD: we received FREE, bottomless chips and salsa on check-in thru their 4SQ special(bravo to their use of social media). My son’s Western burger was cooked perfectly, the bacon and onion strings were crispy and it, and the fries were clearly freshly made to order. He’s very easily pleased, but remarked it was VERY good. I ordered the Spicy Shrimp Tacos which is something completely out of my box, so was not expecting to be bowled over… but I WAS!!! The presentation was better than the menu picture first of all, and the amount of plump, perfectly cooked shrimp inside was a very pleasant surprise(used to being served not too much for the $$ when eating out)! The seasoning and flavor combinations were absolutely delicious. Thankfully, I had the pico on the side because they aren’t joking about the«spicy» in the title(chips of jalapenos in the slaw inside, plus I’m kind of a woos). The menu doesn’t describe the sauce on it/that’s used on the slaw but it is AMAZING! In Googling around, I believe it is a honey chipotle sauce. Yum! The sides of perfectly cooked & seasoned black beans and mild cilantro rice with the nice, sweet pop of grilled corn throughout made a very refreshing, flavorful pairing with the tacos. Needless to say, I had a MUCH better than anticipated dining experience at someplace with a ‘bad wrap’ for being mediocre. If you haven’t been to a Chili’s in awhile, go back to this one and try again!

This Chilis use to be a great spot for some great food and drinks and time to spend with friend and/or family. Now it’s getting a bit worn out and the food quality is dropping so fast it would take Chef Ramsey to come in and change it. It’s much needed for a make over as it now is just starting to smell like an old home. Chilis as a restaurant period keeps changing its menu that even their Famous Baby Back ribs don’t taste the same anymore. They where so much better when the famous commercial first took off about 10+ years ago. Since then they have changed the sauces allot and the only thing worth trying now is the Memphis Rub. I don’t even want to start talking about their wings. Yuk. They use to be some of the best wings in Houston, now they are well below just cooking wings in your garage at home using an electric skillet. The chili at Chilis isn’t the same anymore. I used to work there in 1989 when they used real thick beef. Now I think they have added pink slim. Not the same at all anymore. If they want to keep that Chilis name and good reputation, they need to go back to sausage gravy with the Chicken Fried Steak, bring back the Olé Timer with Chili(using fresh chili like they did back in 89.) Bring back the Salad Bar that they tried out on the Bissonnet location.(It failed back then but today, nice healthy salads are needed.) Make wings and ribs they original way it use to be back in 89. And start back sending undercover crew to all locations to make sure the food and service is consistent.(I’d did that a few times for them back in the day.) Take a listen Chilis else you just may be heading the way of Bennigans.
