The service was courteous that’s about it.
1. Not a big variety of dishes compared to others at cheaper price.
2. Food was COLD in the middle of lunch rush. They just put out a huge dish of the vegetable delight COLD.
3. Food was EXTRA GREASY
4. This restaurant favors Mexicans I have nothing against Mexicans and their culture, my wife is Mexican, the music was too loud
and the reason it’s because I don’t speak Spanish and so how can I enjoy the music
bottom line keep it lower.
12.00 without the drink I had h2o
There are other places that are better for 10 – 11 dollars. I will not ever return here.

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to eat somewhere with horrible food, no one speaks English and the food taste NOTHING like Chinese food look no further!
The place was HOT and crowded… This place is sure to meet all of your needs.
When I spoke to the manager it was like talking to a brick wall… Ugh. Never. Again.

Food was horrible, cold, no flavor and no service. Does anyone speak English anymore? We spoke to the manager and told her the food was all cold, rice, noodles, chicken & soup. She said the kitchen manager had recently cooked it, which is a lie. We paid $ 30 for the worst food in town, what a rip off. Needless to say I will never return to this restaurant

This was the best chained restaurant in the V-​Star family. I’ve never eaten at a Chinese buffet and considered the food not be to poor.
This buffet had a lot of items and the food I tasted were very well seasoned. The salmon was very tasty; it had a slight buttery taste without a heavy amount of salt.
Fresh green beans were marinated in some sauce to bring the flavor out of them. It was delicious. Shrimp fried rice tasted like it was cooked by an Asian person; made the right way. Lo mein was ok, but I wasn’t focusing on the taste that much.
Fried fish was good when I squeezed a lemon on it. Sushi ran out quick, but when I did get to sample some it was good with some wasabi and soy sauce.
The fried tilapia was delicious, though it had bones in it. It was an actual fish that was fried. Soft fish and great batter.
I made two trips to eat the same things; I love fish and had to sample them once more.
For dessert, they have big tubs of Blue Bunny ice cream. The flavored were strawberry with frozen strawberries, vanilla, cookies and cream, butter pecan, and mint.
The ice cream wasn’t the best like HEB brand, but it definitely hit the spot. Oh, I didn’t sample the mint; that’s just gross.
The reason why I knocked off a star was because of the nasty kids that flock this buffet. It’s too many of them picking their hands in the cooler where the ice cream sits and running fast around you not using their manners to maneuver. My plate of food nearly got knocked out of my hand because some fat little girl decided to turn quick and run right into me.
I wish the parents could be more cautious with their children and teach them how to say excuse me or wait their turn.
That was a turn off for me.
This place was packed with Mexicans; the only Asian I saw was at the front.
Two ladies behind us kept on cussing a lot the whole time we dined. It was distracting to hear.
The dinner buffet on the weekends is $ 10.99.
Oh, the lemons and limes are on the buffet line. The water didn’t taste like dish water either.

Thought it would be fun to «Venture out» a bit to find a new place… OH WELL…
Bland, one note flavors, and poor quality of food.
Judging by the clientele… it’s a place to FILL UP cheaply… not DINE…
Small Kids eat free… and there were plenty of SCREAMING ONES…
We all immediately had to go to the bathroom as soon as we got home!

Greasy. Not the best at all. The sweet and sour chicken was more batter than chicken. The dumplings were okay. The fruit was fresh. Wouldn’t recommend.

Most would consider this restaurant chain cheap, but this location is the best I’ve tasted thus far. I’ve tried another location on hwy 6 south but it was bland compared to this place. Every single food and desert option is sooo good, so flavorful. The staff is nice and thier restrooms are clean. I will definitely visit this place again.
