This review is based on the horrible chain of events that I endured based on the unprofessional and ludicrous actions of the management at that time, as well as the pitiful actions of the security guard that was employed on site. Unfortunately, I did not have a Unilocal account when I experienced this poor dining experience-which was over three years ago; summer of 2012 to be exact. My sisters, mother, and a group of children from church-including my nephew who has Autism, and I all decided to dined at cici’s pizza on a Tuesday afternoon after having the kids all day. When we came in, there were not many people. Just a few small families scattered around. We took a table in the middle of restaurant that accommodated us. Everything was going fine. You can’t really complain about a 5 dollar meal, granted I think this was before they upgraded the pizza. But it was still good. So remember, like I said, it wasn’t busy at all– so there were plenty of seats if someone else would have came in. While we were having our meal, the security guard(why does a pizza buffet need a security guard?) came in I guess on his lunch break? And sat RIGHTNEXT to us to eat his meal. I noticed that he chose to sit right by us when there were like 50 of places he could’ve sat but I just let it go. I guess he saw a another group of black people and assumed it was ok to sit by us. Smh So here is where everything went downhill fast. My nephew sometimes gets overly excited and he may stand up and clap or repeats things in a jovial way. But this is attributed to his ASD that he can not control. His communication skills, like the millions of other people around the world who also Have autism, are very limited. So it’s hard for him to express himself«normally». If there is truly any normal people in the world. Aren’t we all a little off in something? But I digress, so my nephew is standing up but he isn’t bothering anyone. This stupid low life scum of a waist of sperm, looks at my nephew as if he(my nephew) was a second class citizen or worst yet-like he saw a roach in his food. I was livid. Like how DARE you come sit right next to us and then proceed to look at a KID that you see may be a little different in disgust? Don’t make the life of someone with a mental or physical handicap more difficult. Smh. There was no reason he should’ve done that. So I look at the security guard and I say«what are you looking at??!» He then tells me he can look at whatever he wants. I then tell him«no you can not». So he is sitting there looking stupid while I give him a few choice words but doesn’t he say anything back. My sisters and mom saw that I was getting mad and I really could have torn his ugly face off the way I was feeling so we got up to leave, as we where leaving I looked down on him and said«you are nothing but a security guard» and began to walk away. Tell me why this piece of defecation stood up and attempted to approach me from behind. You wasn’t doing NOTHING when I was in your face putting you in your place but the minute I turn to leave you want to approach a group of women and children and act tough. Please! You are a coward and I’m sure with all the time I put in the gym I could really hurt your little short self! Don’t mess with a woman when she is angry. So my mom, little sister and the kids all go to the truck. The manager which appeared to have just graduated from Sharpstown High School was no help and really did nothing to diffuse the situation. My sister had to tell the wannabe police officer that her son has autism. But why should she have to do that? I wasn’t thinking then, but we really should of sued cici’s pizza as well as the company that the douchebag security officer worked for as well. Smh. It’s not my fault you’re too stupid to get in the police academy. This is not a insult to the actual job of a security officer. This is to come against those that feel entitled when they should focus on being humble and staying in their place and sticking to what their actual job enforced them to do. You sitting next to a group of women and children and starting a fight is not something that a genuine person that values their job would do. This place is unprofessional and ghetto. I will never return to this business. Hopefully they changed management since then. But I really wouldn’t care. Mother Theresa, may she RIP, can resurrect from the grave and become the manager of this place and I still wouldn’t come back to this pitiful waste of space.

Place is clean and they keep their bar fully stocked. The workers are very attentive to their customers. Tables are being kept clean when people leave. Game room is clean. Food is good and the price for a buffet it great.

This cici’s was pretty ghetto and dinghy… But for the price, I guess you can’t ask for much more. If you’re looking for unlimited pizza, this is the place to go, but don’t expect it to be gourmet. This is your starving college student budget go to place when you need food. The greasy, dense crust, oily pizza certainly appeals to some, but maybe not to others. The nice thing about Cici’s is that you can get as much pizza, pasta, and salad as you want for a flat fee. However, their salads are definitely the prepackaged ones from the bags that aren’t so fresh, the pasta comes with 2 types of sauce: red or white, and there’s 1 type of soup. There is a few selection of pizzas, and you can custom order your own so at least you know that is fresh, but be weary of the pizza slices that have been sitting there for a while. I really did enjoy their garlic cheesy bread though. It was probably one of the few digestible choices. It was very soft and fluffy, I just wish their pizza crust would also be like that. I also enjoyed their dessert pizza, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste. The other desserts like the brownies weren’t as appetizing. I enjoyed their chicken noodle soup because it was seasoned well, even though it tasted like canned soup. I would suggest getting the noodles and then adding the broth because the noodles in the broth might be a bit over cooked and past their al dente state. I also appreciate the fact that they accepted our free buffet coupons, but they charged us for drinks and made it mandatory to buy drinks even though the fine print didn’t state drinks were necessary, but hey, $ 2 for 2 people isn’t too bad. Would I go here again? Without a free coupon, probably not, even though it’s definitely affordable. But for your starving college kids living on a budget, or you childhood pizza fanatics, knock yourself out. As for me, I’ll hold out unless I absolutely have to.

Worse CiCis in Texas! Pizza tastes like cleaning fluid, salad bar was anything but fresh, and the pasta was old and had zero flavor. Cashier seemed bothered to serve me and the loud conversations in the kitchen reached every table. Won’t ever be back.

Picked up the special 3 pizza 1 topping for $ 15. Good deal for cheap pizza. They fave me someone else’s pizza had tons of toppings and was better than the one topper. So bad customer service bc they didn’t ck my order, cheap pizza, and low low quality.

The clientel is disgusting, no doubt. This is a fine chain of a restruant that has landed smack-dab in the middle of «welfare town». I decided to try this little joint out with my girlfriend when we were more disturbed by the people that came here. The place itself seemed ok(as far as cleanliness and so on) But if your looking for trouble, then I highly recommend you come here. My girlfriend could’nt even go to refill her cup without getting whistled at or hollered at. The sad thing, was that these were grown men. Save yourself a trip and dont bother, just get digornos…

I have been to many CiCi’s pizza chain restaurants around town and across different cities but by far this is one of the worst CiCi’s I’ve been to. Food quality is horrible and the dining area just feels run-down. I don’t expect much from any pizza buffets so I usually do not grade hard on the quality since quality isn’t the primary focus in these type of restaurants. However, if the pizza becomes runny, then we got a problem. The Alfredo chicken pizza was watery and the taste was bland. The other pizzas did not have fresh toppings and overall the pizza tasted old. The salad was not fresh as can be seen by the looks and the texture. If like CiCi’s pizza, I would suggest to stay away from this location.
