Man this place is good! Fresh and amazing! I got the fajita tacos and they were packed with meat and veggies. The rice and beans were very good and fresh. My favorite are the homemade chips and salsa. I’m glad I work right next door now so I can go in and enjoy some more during the tax season!

As always have been coming here for years! Still love the tortas, the quesadillas and even the beef enchiladas are good! Keep in mind they are different and made with wolf chili but don’t knock it until you try it! I personally think it’s delicious and something definitely different!

the only place to get breakfast tacos! I get out every now and then to take to customers and they have always been delicious! the chips and best salsa I have ever had. it’s nice seeing someone(family) chase their dreams with this restaurant. I try to support local business such as Clio’s and I have never been let down with the food here!

They have great breakfast tacos! Don’t get the enchiladas it have like chili cheese on it. Really weird I’m used to red sauce and shredded cheese personally but I guess if you like that kind thing… Get the breakfast tacos though! Yummmm!!!

Been to Clio’s many times and it’s always a pleasure. The chicken sandwiches and the chicken avacado salad are great. Reasonably priced.

Great food. Great value. Friendly staff. Hole in the wall but well worth the visit. Best chips ever! Not health food! Best queso! Burgers, chicken, salads, tex mex. Got it all.

I come here at least 3 times a week for lunch. Their limonada is great and fresh, they always have a happy attitude to welcome you with. And I love their fajitas, they are the best you can do besides El Rey on S. Shepherd. So, of course, I am loyal for what they cook here!

Lackluster food served with indifference. Always appear to be short staffed, not the place to go if you want a quick lunch.

Best chips and salsa in Houston. C+ Food taste, B+ Food portions, A++++++ Chips and Salsa. I think it’s worth dropping in just for a Dr. Pepper and telling them to keep the chips and salsa coming.(Tipping them accordingly of course)

The food is better than average but not great. The best things here are the chips and salsa. Yum! I usually get a quesadilla or taco salad. The enchiladas have a weird sauce on them.

Don’t let the tomato fool you!(in the logo) It’s not a salad bar. Both Mexican and American food are offered here. This low-budget but new décor strip mall restaurant is off the Ritchie exit to I-45, and is located at the entrance of the Movie Tavern. In fact, while I ate lunch, I looked out the floor-to-ceiling wall of windows and marveled at how many people are off work at this time(or out of work?), going to a see movie(or, is it the tavern they go?). I like this Mexican(I presume) family-owned & run mini-restaurant(good family vibes), with perhaps a dozen Formica tables and metal chairs(no booths). They take pride in their food, smile, pay attention to customers and care what you think after the meal. For example, instead of giving an after-dinner mint, the waitress saw that I gobbled the salsa, so she gave me a small vial-full. Chips y Salsa: Excellent! The chips are thick, crispy and fried at their location. I know this, because I can see my reflection in a couple of the chips. Only red salsa is served, and it is a warm mixture of non-blendered ingredients and near watery base. But you can put enough solids on a chip to about«high pile, before it flows off… a very tasty salsa with a slightly different taste than this(taco) bar hopper has experienced. The special of the day is $ 1 off the chicken fajita plate, resulting in $ 8.45. The menu offers about a dozen American food choices(chicken-fried steak, burgers, pork chops, etc.) and about a dozen Tex-Mex plates, mostly containing fajita meat in different corn tortilla positions. Looking at the staff, I decide to order a Mexican food plate, since it looks like English is a second lengua. I go for the special, because it has guacamole and pico de gallo. Surprisingly, the mixed salad comes early, piled on a separate dinner plate(not a coffee saucer). The only negative is that it contains iceberg lettuce and bottled blue cheese dressing in a plastic to-go type vial. Hmmm. For more business, they should consider that for hospital catering. The chicken fajitas are plentiful enough for two people, or one hungry dude. One big slab of chicken about ½» thick is sliced. The chicken tastes pretty good, and is not greasy. Wrap up the chicken, guac, pico, grilled onions in a corn tortilla, and it’s surprisingly good. The guacamole is freshly made and excellent tasting. You can taste the ripe avacado fully, with a hint of garlic and fresh chopped cilantro leaves. The pico de gallo was a disappointment. I looked at the larger-than-normal green pepper pieces and was prepared for hot, but they turn out to be green bell pepper pieces! The strangest part of the meal was the rice, which had a color of coral(not white, but the paint chip color at Home Depot). It was very mild, so I could not taste anything corally. The corollary to this, was that the refried beans were normal, meaning it contributes to a coronary. Sorry for being so cornyary. So, to sum up, it has its high notes and low notes. The family is from south of the border, so I would lean toward the Mexican food part of the menu, since the salsa, guacamole, and chicken fajitas were quite good. P. S. Breakfast tacos are popular here, especially in mass quantities for businesses. I know this because a customer came in to praise and thank the owner(sitting at table with his wife stuffing paper napkins with forks and knifes).
