This is a warning to the owner: You should REALLY check ID’s when taking debit cards. Someone stole my debit number and used it at your business. I don’t even live in the state and I have never been to Texas. Sorry you got scammed but it is partly YOUR FAULT for not checking ID’s.

Low key neighborhood spot with friendly staff and patrons. Nice patio for smokers or if you just feel like soaking up some humidity. There are people playing dominoes, music on a computerized juke box and multiple screens to catch the games. You just might run into a pro athlete there from time to time. Push come to shove you can walk next door and pick-​up some ok Chinese Take Out on the way home.

SUGGESTIONS
Have REAL happy hour specials and pour decent drinks at a decent price! People will patronize a bar as long as they pour good liquor and provide good service! Two for one is ALWAYS a winner!
Why is there a cover charge??? Have a ladies night! Hookah night! Line dancing night! Karaōke night!!! That would be fun! ADVERTISE when there will be food or what night an event will take place. The last few times i was there – no food???
You guys are walking distance from my home and i wish you pour better drinks. I paid 10 for a mediocre hurricane. That was a bit much!
Overall its ok but could be so much better!

This is the spot. People so dope you’ll want to change your last name to coaches corner and be part of the family. They got all the jams playing (from elton john to drizzy) and the host so friendly you swear you knew him in a past life. dominoes, bombass food, like a thousand tv’s, and houston oiler’s Jeffires. no lie. this place is fire. go.

Coaches is a good little neighborhood spot. Been coming here since it was Smokeys. The regulars are friendly and the atmosphere is laid back.

They have a full bar, a patio, and sometimes free food. There are enough TVs to watch any game. The TVs are all along the wall and not behind the bar, so be sure to sit in a good position at the bar or at a table. On some nights they have karaōke and/​or a DJ. It’s a pretty decent place to go have a drink and play some cards/​dominoes without being bothered.
