A little hidden gem. Located in the basement of 2990 Richmond, the food isn’t all gold but there are a few great dishes(like the chicken teriyaki) and the prices can’t be beat. Portions are huge, so split the price with a friend of similar eating habits and you can each easy for under $ 3!

Great food, fast and healthy portions. Go for their lunch specials, every day they have 5 different specials to chose from.

Generous portions — a real value! Food is prepared quickly and tastes great. Worth a stop even if you aren’t taking a class at Leisure Learning. Try the fries. The shrimp fried rice was delicious and enough for two. Comes with an ok egg roll.

I had a summer internship on 3000 Richmond(next door) and I found this place and ended eating here almost every day. Its owned by a Korean Guy and his wife and they are very nice. The food is straight up cheap diner food with a rotation of different items each day of the week. I am particularly fond of their veggie burger and their chopped bbq burger but its consistently good and always cheap — I think a burger, drink(12 oz can), and fries(VERYGOOD, nothing special but they don’t fry it till you order it) will cost less than $ 5…yes, that’s cheaper than Jack in the Box! Note: they are in the basement and they don’t bother with putting signs up, so just walk in and take the elevator down. The basement scene is a little depressing at first but you get used to it, especially with this tackylicious wall sized photo of a garden with tulips =). The security guard tells me that he knows people who used to work in the area and found jobs elsewhere but still regularly return to for the food. Its that good(for the price). UPDATE: I will visit every few months since I don’t have a car, and the guy still recognizes me =). 5-star=consistently awesome(for its price)
