Cool Cuts 4 Kids

Let me start off by saying his second haircut came ok. Aside from that, the customer service and professionalism was by far the worst I’ve experienced. Going in we knew how we wanted our son’s haircut. The first stylist took our info but passed us over to a different stylist because her appointment came in. The second stylist took our haircut plans and was about to start but her appointment came in too and passed us over to a third stylist that preferred to speak to us in Spanish because it was easier on her. My son did not cry during first haircut at snip-​its but started crying halfway through his haircut here. She was too rough and expected us to hold him down and keep him from crying. My wife tried to calm him down but the stylist pushed her back because she said he would want to be carried and she would not be able to finish. We will not be returning and prefer to pay extra at snip its for their awesome customer service. Correction: we get home and bathe him and see all the imperfections and choppy cuts on the side of his head.

I usually never write a review, but this if for my son. Took him to get his first cut and I totally dislike the cut it is so chopped I feel so bad for my lil guy. Would never go back. Paid $ 25 with tip and my son hair looks soo bad…

Took my daughter here for her first haircut and not only was it a super cute setup with little pretend cars but we were immediately taken care of! The stylist was very kind and my daughter didn’t even protest, I’d say that’s a win.

Michelle was Great! She managed perfectly my 9 months old baby!!! It was his 3^rd hair cut (Sounds crazy but He has a lot of hair!!!) But the first two were with my husbands hair stylist (she is great but the place was not kids friendly) and was very traumatic for the baby!!! This time with Michelle and in cool cuts was PERFECT!!! He didn’t cry or anything!!! He loved the car and the cartoons!!! And he got a very nice cut as a little trendy men!!! So we loved the experience!!! And for sure we will go back looking for Michelle!!!

Good haircut, nice service. At other kids places they give coupons and discounts on certain days; and that would be nice to see at cool cuts 4 kids.
The only thing I didn’t really like was that the hairdresser gave my child 2 lollipops without my permission to keep him quiet and still during his haircut.

This place is great! Brought my 20 month old here for a trim. He loved sitting in the fire truck and loved the cartoons. She was very quick, which is great for a squirmy toddler. The girls working there were very nice. Thought the price was reasonable. We will be back!

The place is super cute, and fun for kiddos! They have TVs in front of the kids, video games, toys and s cute play corner while real little ones wait. The kids get to sit in cars during the cut, steering the wheel and ringing a bell. It’s really built to keep them playful and distracted, so perfect for preventing any worries while the stylist cuts off their beloved hair.
I loved that Martha was patient and playful with a two year old. She kept moving with him, cheerfully and skillfully performing her work. On top of that she did exactly what I asked (not a standard little boys cut). We will always come here!

We took our son here for his first haircut. He is 21 months old. Christina was super sweet and fast. No fuss, no tears. He loved sitting in the fire truck and warmed up to Christina in just a few minutes. We will be back.

My 5 y/​o loves getting her haircut here. You can play video games, watch movies or play with the train table while you wait. When they get their haircut, they sit in this cute looking car chair and watch a movie to keep them entertained. The 2 ladies there are nice, patient and friendly. It’s a little pricey but it’s worth the experience for the kids.

Recommended to us by some friends. My son was entertained, the stylist was very attentive and careful and the fact that it was done very well was greatly appreciated.
We were just as pleased on our send and third visit.

Lucy was very good with my 3 year old twin grandsons who do not like haircuts! She was very fast and entertaining although they cried the entire time. She is very good at her job and I really appreciated her patience. The only drawback is the price is quite high for a few minutes of work.

Before taking my son to his first haircut, I did my research in order to have an awful experience.
I saw the reviews and gave it a try.
Totally loved the place, the hairstylists have TONS of patience with the kids.
They ask you what kind of cartoons your kid likes to watch

It was great! My daughter likes having her hair super long so we get it cut perhaps once a year. She requested to go to a kids haircut place (I asked if she wanted to go where I go or a kid place). I finally made the call and was able to get a same day appointment after school.
They washed her hair and cut about six inches off while she got to watch a movie. She even let them blow dry it.
Both stylists were helpful, friendly and engaging with my daughter and the other children in the salon. The facility was clean and neat, but has a lot of toys for sale along with hair products and accessories. There is a toy area to keep children occupied while they are waiting.

We’ve been coming here for years now. My autistic son has a very hard time with haircuts and we always end up having a great experience with the staff/​stylists at this location. They are patient, kind and considerate all while giving a great little boy haircut. :) my two year old daughter goes here now, as well. Kudos!

After visiting several other hair salons in search of someone to cut our son’s hair, we’ve become repeat customers here. Martha does a great job on his hair, and we never leave with a lopsided bowl cut or weird bald spots or other hair atrocities.
The salon has cute little chairs for the kids — a taxi and a fire engine (my son’s favorite), for example. They’ve also got Matchbox cars and other toys at a 4-year-old’s eye level, so prepare there accordingly.
What’s probably most amazing is how well the ladies manage to corral unruly, crying hysterical kids who clearly don’t want their hairs cut. While our son is content to play with the fire engine (and reserve his unruliness for other public venues), each visit we watch a kid completely melt down (epic meltdowns.) The ladies at Cool Cuts 4 Kids have seen it all, and it doesn’t seem to phase them a bit. I’m *amazed* at how great a job they can do on a kid’s head when they’ve turned into a crying, screaming octopus.

My daughter was getting her first hair cut yesterday and it was a pleasant experience. Though my daughter was crying but Jessica, the hair dresser was managed to trim her hair and cooed her to stay still. My only grip is that it is a bit pricey. We hope her next visit she would wants to sit in the car that designed for toddlers to have her haircut.
