First time here. Great food and great atmosphere. Shrimp and beef fajitas were excellent. Definitely will be back. Price is very reasonable.

Ordered delivery from here a few times and love it! I always get the mixed Fajitas and my husband gets the quesadilla plate. Good food for a great price. This will continue to be our go to delivery food in the area!

The food was so delicious. When we got here it was completely empty but I have no idea why. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was fantastic! Plus we there was a groupon we used so that was even better!

I discovered this restaurant through Eat24. I was pretty happy to find a Mexican place that would deliver! Not only that, but the food is very good! We’ve ordered from them a few times now and they do not disappoint. I’ve never eaten in the restaurant, so I cannot speak to that, bu their food is so good!

I got the shrimp enchiladas and not much to say about them, they were dry — Small lunch portions. rice was okay and I have had better. I mean it was okay but sorry to say I wont be ordering again, the only reason I picked it is because they deliver to the office. Fro maybe $ 2 more LOSCUCOS is way better and way bigger portions

Been living in the area almost a year and decided to check this place out tonight(a Saturday night). From the outside, and being in a little strip mall– I wasn’t expecting much. When we walked in, very clean-but pretty much an empty restaurant.(Which was kinda nice actually!) The husband got a pork dish-that he ate real quick, so I assume he liked it! I had beef fajitas. Very good! I also had a glass of Sangria that was tasty! They have red and green salsa. The red is warm(temperature), which I love; green– kinda had a lime-ish flavor which was really good too. Both the corn, and flour tortillas were thin and delicious. We’ll be back! The only downside, I kept eating the salsas with the tortillas to the point of being uncomfortably full!

I’ve never been to this place but o have ordered for delivery. They deliver fast too. The food is good. Not amazing. But they get 5 stars for their amazing service. Specially since I order after 830pm and in my area(spring branch), it’s hard to get deliver past 9 or something that isn’t Chinese or that would charge an arm and a leg just for delivery. Their menu has a nice variety of food from quesadillas, tacos, soup, salsas, queso, plates with rice and beans.

The food was really good and so was the atmosphere. Most of all, their customer service was awesome. I’m a person who can really appreciate good service and the staff was great. They were attentive, friendly and very polite. My daughter and I left feeling like we were really taken care of. We will definitely visit again the next time we’re in that area.

I’m pretty impressed with this place. I decided to use them because they do offer a delivery service and it was something other than pizza and Chinese food. My wait time was 46 – 60 Mins and they showed up a little before 30. All my food was hot and seemed fresh. Although I was only having a lazy day so I ordered the chicken tortilla soup in a beef quesadilla with queso and a side of guacamole. My only complaint about the food is the soup and guacamole needed much more salt. I would do sure order from here again!

My husband and I ordered for delivery and I had high expectations as it’s rated decently compared to other restaurants on Eat 24. I was sooo disappointed! The food was cold by the time it got to us. My husband ordered a half order of nachos and I get it, it’s a half order, but I’m not exaggerating when I say his order had 7 chips on it with stale, cold cheese on top. My flautas had no flavor to them, I’ve probably had better flautas at a less expensive restaurant. You’d think for the prices it would taste great. The only thing good were the chips. Salsa was bitter. What a huge let down. Don’t let the reviews fool ya!

Best fajitas in town! They don’t charge for refills, only for fresh limonade, Jamaica and Tamarindo. Tres leches it’s the best! Great service! I like this place, they give you a card with a stamp on it so you can get a FREELUNCH!

Yes, this restaurat now sits at was once called«Cazadores». If you happen to find yourself here during the night time on a weekday you can be rest assured that the place will be a little quiet and the service level pretty attentative. It’s not a bad place to take a date since there isn’t that obtrusive«music» blarring in your ears while you are trying to download a fork full of food, you know what type of music I’m talking about. The menu has a decent selection of everything from your staple tacos, burritos, fajita plates, enchiladas, combinations etc. Happy hour during your normal HH times will yield you a small glass of margarita for $ 5. Parking is plenty even though it shares a lot with adjoining businesses. Lock your valuables and be vigilant where you are and your surroundings. I had the shrimp and fajita plate for one and I believe it was in the neighborhood of $ 15. The presentation was not bad as it did come to the table sizzling with four jumbo sized shrimp on a small bed of fajita meat. The salsa that is brought to you I must brag about. It is not watery, it is not overly spicy and it comes out very warm. It’s addictive and will stay on your chips, the chips freshness however might need to be kept at a little fresh wherever they store them. In all, this place is worth a visit. You might not rave about it but you might not be dissappointed but juding from the other reviews I believe two more takes of this establishment is warranted.

Oooooh heeeeell NO! Did they really just serve me canned sauce on top of my enchiladas? Yes, YES they did! Ate here a couple days ago for lunch with my Mom. Worst lunch I’ve probably ever eaten in a very long time. I took ONE bite of my enchilada and was DONE. My Mom had one bite and was also done. I was so insulted because the enchiladas are«enchiladas tejas» which mean this is what they think is acceptable to pass as Tex Mex. When the waiter approached I asked why they serve canned sauce on their food. He replied, «it’s not canned, it’s Cisco.» Me: «Ok, excuse me it’s not canned, it comes from a bag you cut open and slapped it on top.» Waiter«Yes.» Me: «I’ve had better enchiladas in a school cafeteria.» Waiter: «oh.» Now, I know it’s not his fault… he just works here but I wanted to tell him so he could tell the owner so that they could know that Texans have taste buds and that we know the difference!

Spinach enchiladas are certainly not good at all. Canned veggies rolled up in a corn tortilla with a yucky sauce on top. Black beans are pulverized and tasteless even though I specifically asked if they were refried and they said no. Fries were good though. So are margs. Service was alright. Nice enough guy serving although we were mostly ignored despite being two of twelve people in the restaurant. The guy who brings the chips and seems to be the buss boy was the only nice guy working that seemed to care about our quality of service or food. I saw him tell the server 15 minutes ago and take my food away and I have been ignored since then.

Cinco de Mayo, I could tell they were getting alot of the overflow of Los Cucos because we certainly couldn’t even get in the parking lot. We had driven by Cristobal alot of times. I wanted to like this place sooo much. For cinco de mayo they had great specials. They need to work on their plating and their food is bad! Well, my nachos were okay, but messy and did not look appealing. Their prices are high, if they want a lunch crowd they have to work on their prices. The rice and beans were terrible! I’m talking about everythign tasted out of a can. Such a shame because it is so easy to make nice mexican rice if they put in an effort. My husband enchiladas were so terrible the sauces did not taste good. Place looks more like a taqueria, but if they put in a bit more effort in their bar they could have a good crowd, I think they need a good manager to turn things around. Not sure if we are going back. Service was good though.

LOVETHISPLACE! BESTFOOD: Amazing fajitas. Just enough seasoning to taste like fajitas while still savoring the meat. The shrimp is huge. Easily twice as big as any nearby competitor. If you ask for the beef medium rare it actually comes that way. The cilantro rice is great. Check out the pic. BESTMARGARITAS: really good margheritas. Way better than Tia Maria’s or other local competitors. And they always have a special like the first is free. BESTSERVICE: this was opened by a really nice family. All have worked in restaurants their entire lives. DAD, sons — all truly nice and care about you. They’ll know your favorite order in no time. GREATPRICE: we consistently pay $ 10 to $ 15 less than the other local places we used to go. NOLINES: Don’t let the lack of crowd fool you. This place is awesome. The lunch crowd is busy but still picking up at night. Come in and enjoy! UNEXPECTEDLOCATION: it’s in a strip mall next to a Cons furniture store. Nice inside but not where you would think to look for the best Mexican place in town! Somehow there’s tons of parking! YOUOWEYOURSELF A TRIPTOCRISTOBAL!

The only reason it gets a 2 is the service. Red sauce was watery. Queso was very strange tasting. Beans ok, rice ok, cheese enchiladas barely passable. The killer: the margs(house frozen) while only $ 3 were weak and not tasty. Creepy to be the only people for most of the Thursday night from 6:00 to 7:00 pm

I saw that this new restaurant had opened while eating at Ty Seafood and thought I would give it a try the next time I was in the area. I went for lunch this past Saturday and arrived at 12:30 to an empty restaurant. I was seated and ordered iced tea and decided on the chicken fajitas for $ 12.95. The chips and salsa came out with both red and green. Chips and salsa are Important to me and these left a lot to be desired. The chips tasted like a cheap plain dorito out of a bag. Neither salsa was good. Then the fajitas arrived. First thing I noticed was that the serving size was smaller than average with regard to the amount of chicken and onions on the sizzling platter. Also I asked for charro beans instead of the refried beans that come with the meal. The beans were also small portion wise. Eating the food, I didn’t feel that chicken had a good taste. It was rather bland. After eating the meal and considering the chips and salsa and the chicken fajitas I really felt that a 2 was a proper score. I have had far better. I will say that my service was very good however I was the only customer and as I was leaving another gentlemen walked in to eat. I won’t return to try another dish because the chips and salsa were of 2 quality. Tia Maria’s is nearby and that’s where I will go next time for good mexican food.

My husband and I are Thursday night regulars at a couple of staple Mexican restaurants in town! 2 of our favorite waiters opened this family restaurant and we could not be more impressed! The food was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations! The bacon wrapped shrimp and chicken fajitas are on par with the very best! I judge a restaurants salsa and this was a top 5 for me! This is a great restaurant and highly recommended!

Looks like Cristobal’s will be giving Tia Maria’s a run for the money! Great service, wonderful, fresh foods, good ‘ritas… We are so happy to find a place other than Tia’s(which we love, but could once in a while bypass the the extra cheese and sauces in their food). I ordered the mixed enchilada plate: fajita beef, fajita chicken and fresh spinach enchiladas. Tasty and clean food! The menu is just two pages(instead of the five page menus filled with options that overwhelm). Good kid menu options as well. And great drinks! We are thrilled to find such a great place in the neighborhood with GOOD food! We WILL be back!
