This has always been my favorite steakhouse. I used to eat at the NYC location. It’s the first time I ate in Houston. As usual, the seasoning was exceptional… flavorful with just enough salt. Usually I’ve had great service here, and it was decent at this location. My steak should have been medium but was medium rare. I didn’t pick this up at first as I cut into a thiner piece. About a 1⁄3rd to halfway into the steak I noticed. They were quick to remedy the situation. And shame on me for not mentioning it earlier. Because it was chewy, I almost choked on a piece. I didn’t mention it because I don’t do drama. Any top notch restaurant would have done something more. They seemed to not really care that much. Anyway, food was good after cooling it more. The service was lacking compared to other Del Frisco’s.
