Please stand over my table and talk to me while I am eating and talking(sarcasm). Terrible service. When I told the host how many people are eating, she just held up her fingers in the air and told us, «over here», being very vague. When my brother ordered the iced coffee, she stood over us and asked him how it tasted.

The staff is excellent… Carlos always prompt and in-tune with my needs at the table and gives me great service the cooks are not experienced some days my taste really bad but my problem with the Is Dennys is the owner no free grand slams on your birthday and they do not except corporate coupons Dennys corporate should take action on this Dennys this the only one in Houston that does this «The Customer is disrespected by the owner in these inadequate problems»

So I have always heard of the free grand slam breakfast that Denny’s offers for your birthday and thought I should check it out. I haven’t been to Denny’s in awhile so I also wanted to see if anything has changed from it. Well I didn’t even get a chance to even try the food because it took over 5 minutes for the manager to make up a lie to tell me they no longer accept the free grand slam breakfast for birthdays. He made it sound like it was a nationwide thing at first until I pointed out that if that were true, how was I able to print out a copy for myself to redeem? So he quickly changed his answer and said it was this location’s own policy. Apparently it’s not one he is well aware of since it took him forever to find out. Sure I can’t get too upset about not getting something that I was going to get free in the first place, but I was mostly irritated about the manager’s lack of knowledge about their own policy. So I didn’t sit too long after that, I just paid for my overpriced $ 3 orange juice and left. Never again Denny’s!

Although the store was clean, when I ordered white toast, the waiter brought wheat. When I pointed it out, he said they were out of white bread. After eating, some time passed and we had to ask another server to find our waiter. When I got the bill, the waiter took it and my cc to pay the tab. Another waiter came back to our table with the receipt to be signed. No customer copy. Generally I like Denny’s. Just not this one.

This is Sunday morning July 5th. I took a seat and waited 10 minutes before getting attention. I asked for coffee and it came back cold and I never got silverware. I had to reach to the table next to me to get silverware off the next table. My waiter never came back to the table and when I checked out the manager was was indifferent. They have yellow tape around their counter which looks like a murder has taken place. This has been up there for several weeks. I will not ever go back to Denny’s and do not recommend that one too anyone else.

Been here couple of times, mediocre service and food. Ordered the meat lovers omelette. Asked for no cheese and extra hash browns instead of the toast was fulfilled. My plate was out in 15 minutes. Slow on water refills. Hash browns was crunchy and hot but while enjoying my omelette, I found something unusually crunchy, i spit it out and it turns out to be several pieces of egg shells… Well, what can you expect coming in 2am in the morning? The chef must be taking a nap and got pissed off from waking up.

I noticed a hair in my food, i even thought it could be mine. Upon closer examination i realized it had mascara. I told and showed the waiter. He charged me full price so i stiffed his ass. I will never eat Denny’s ever again.

Horrible horrible service! Rude staff. They can’t even get an order right. Food takes forever to come. People go to Le Peep on westimer and wilcrest not to far from there, they have wayyyy better service and the food is so much better.

Good location, clean resturant, friendly servers and good food both qualitative and quantitively. I cant understand the negative reviews. As far as I am concerned the food was as good as it gets and the servers were friendly and attentive

They really renovated this place. Really. It used to look like a nightmare before and now it looks like the inside of someone’s house. I thought we took a wrong turn and ended up at a 24hour Olive Garden. They’ve got a fireplace and huge flatscreen televisions. Even the menus look better. But even after all these impressive changes, the food is exactly the same.(That’s not a good thing.) Just whip something up at home for your midnight snack. It’ll be cheaper and it’ll probably taste better too.

Shame on Denny’s. I have always had a decent experience at a Denny’s, but not this one. Came here one late night with a friend. It wasn’t busy… We waited about 7 minutes for a server to come take drink orders. By this time we were ready to order so we wanted to give him both. He said nah Im not your server but Ill get yalls drinks. Umm ok…(I asked for no ice and my glass was filled to the brim with it smh) So then another guy comes and takes our order. And a long ass 45 minutes later, our food comes out. During that time, we were looking for our server to see what was going on with the food… he was nowhere to be found. Food was cold as a corpse. We were starving, and now pissed off because not only did it take forever, but now it was cold… so we ask for a manager. This guy comes out and said they were training a new cook in the back and thats what took so long. I said if they had to train him to make scrambled eggs, maybe he should take his talents elsewhere… but hey to each their own, right? He said he didnt know why the food was cold and offered us 10% off… we werent trying to get a discount or free food, just GOOD food. Sheesh. I was so annoyed. My bacon was greasy as hell and limp, it might have been still alive, who knows. It was ALLBAD. As many times as I had thought about it, I wont go back. Cant do it.

Really bad service. Starting with the manager who was at the register made a face to us. then when we ordered the Server rudely place the waters n our table… Since it is Veterans Day I guess… and idk why they are offering such horrible service to lots of heroes ! We felt an stressful aura and felt bad for the server. So, we tried to make him laugh and I even told him that we were going to leave him a good tip cuz me n my veteran soldier wifey were sharing a plate. We always do this and in this location too. The meal took WAY longer than usual. The area we were sitting at was half way empty and when we asked for our meal the server replied with a negative attitude:” uh! It’s coming. We r so busy” so that got me really upset… Knowing that wasn’t even true. When we for our meal it wasn’t even hot ! It felt like it was standing there for a while… Really really HORRIBLE Experience to have a special breakfast with my favorite veteran who thank God is alive!

We haven’t been to a Denny’s in years. A recent Sunday breakfast reminded me why. If this is a remodeled Denny’s, then think of it as a refurbished classic car. In fact, the Halloween decorations were downright creepy and hardly appetite inducing. Our Grand Slams were on the skimpy side. Tiny English muffin, small eggs, soggy hash browns. I could do far better at home. They make a big deal about their new«bold» coffee, yet never offered it to us. Service was decent once you found your waitress. But by the time she got ketchup to the table our eggs were cold. Next time I’ll try a skillet. Or maybe the pancakes. They looked pretty good. Then again, we may not be back for a few years.

So I went here last night bc I was feeling under the weather and wanted chicken noodle soup. Good thing was that they had it, bad thing was how small the portion was. It was alright in taste I would rather home made. The waitress was really knowledgable and fast. My bf ordered eggs whites(3) turkey bacon(2) and 2 whole wheat pancakes. All that only cost $ 6.49. Pretty good compared to ihop price wise. I tried some of his pancakes and try we’re also average. Ihop seems better in taste.

We walked in and sat for over 20 minutes and none bothered to asked us for drinks or anything. We walked out and front lady was like ok sorry that’s all.

10pm… we missed supper last night, so instead of subjecting my beloved to another late night phở run, we opted for the Denny’s down the street. We were pleasantly surprised by the remodeled dining area… HUGE flat screens flanking each end of the room, a multi-colored stone façade on the walls, new booths and table tops! And the place was festively decorated for Halloween :-) Our server was super sweet, wish I had gotten her name. I made a special order and they graciously accommodated the«off the menu» selection! Wasn’t anything glamorous – I wanted a couple of fried chicken tenders on my spaghetti marinara instead of the 3 giant meatballs it was supposed to come with. I know she didn’t have to ask and they didn’t have to agree to do it, but they did :-) which was so cool of them! Josh and I are starting up our Low carb diet today, so it was kind of our last carby supper!!! He had the grand slam! Although our server was sweet, service was still ehhh… It was difficult to get a coffee or water refill. There appeared to be 2 – 3 waiters sitting around and only a handful of customers, so having to flag someone down for coffee seemed unnecessary.

Most of the time the server doesn’t speak English – or very little – and they don’t seem to know their own menu well. I once ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich with fries(which was on their menu) and had a very, very difficult time relaying that to the confused, doped our server. Eventually he brought me a regular chicken sandwich with a side of BBQ, like I supposed to dip it or something.
