Ok, long overdue review on this place, but we wanted to go back and try a few things. Mangonadas here are SUPERB — true Mangonada in that it is not a raspa but rather blended frozen mango swirled with chamoy and topped with chopped mango; for $ 1 you can add the hot salted tamarindo stick. Preparadas are AMAZING! You get a 32oz cup coated in chile & full of oranges & pineapples, lots of gummy bears, chamoy; you’re lookin at $ 8.00 for one of these bad boys with the Smirnoff. If you get it with a Squirt, a Rusia, I believe they are around $ 6.50(which is so much better than some other place). I absolutely love these and the flavor the chamoy gives the Smirnoff! Hot Cheetos with melted cheese? OMG, I had never had such a thing, but it is surprisingly good and super cheesy. I have had just mango with chile and chamoy, and it always seems that the mango is super sweet. Cesar really likes their jicama & cucumber mixed as well. And the last time we went, we all ordered a small cup of corn which hit the spot and was so delectable. One of the good things is they have a condiment bar so you can add as much extra chamoy, chile or other seasoning to your drink, dessert, fruit, etc. Oh and be prepared to freezing in their because of all the ice cream and cold items going on lol! There has always been a line when we go, but they have their stuff together here. Orders come flying out and you may have a 15min wait after you order IF you’re getting food; otherwise, our mangonadas last time came out in like 5min and we just to wait for our hot corn!

Best place in the Katy area for all your Mexican cravings. The snacks here are mouth watering, delicious, have excellent presentation, and are made with fresh ingredients. A little pricey but their portions are large enough to share with a friend or to put away and save for later. I take away a star because of their questionable customer service. For one, many of the staffs English is a little rusty which I don’t mind since I’m bilingual but for those who aren’t be ready. Two I always tend to call before picking up my snacks and yet always have to wait. If I go on a busy day like a Sunday evening I might as well skip the call altogether because I will wait in line in the order I came in just like everyone else regardless. I want to blame this on not enough staff or just bad staffing in general since this is a small place that has become very popular and hasn’t accustomed accordingly with the newfound demand. And yes, at some of its busiest times the staff does tend to become a bit scatterbrained and rude(bad staffing). Regardless of these minor setbacks I still rate this place 4 stars because the food does not disappoint! No matter how busy this place gets the snacks are always outrageously delicious, have excellent presentation, and are served in generous proportions.

I don’t come here often but when I do I get the same thing. Usually I ask for extra candy but today(that’s why I’m giving them a star) I asked for the same and the short lady with blonde hair rudely told me I can purchase the candy separate and put it on myself. Not how you’re suppose to answer customers.

We tried it out for the 1st time today. Ordered a Mangonada, Trola de fresa & nachos. It was all pretty good. There was only one employee working and she was very friendly. Looking forward to try out more snacks soon!

A friend introduced me to this place and I had the chance to check this place out. They offer a good variety of drinks, food items, ice cream, and other small snacks. Walking in, you notice the plain interior set-up and the menu pictures on the wall. The place was fairly clean and quiet when we entered. I would say this place is reasonably priced based on what goes in their drinks & food. The Pina Loca(4⁄5): I would like to say this drink of one of their popular drinks. This pineapple treat is HUGE. It’s loaded with pineapples, gummy bears, fruits, and other goodness! You can either have it just the way it is or spike it with a Smirnoff! I have to say this drink is big enough to share with 2 – 3 people! So, BEWARE if you are ordering this for yourself. As for the price, I can’t complain because of the amount of ingredients are in this treat. It may take a while for them to prep this so you can expect some wait time. Elotes in a cup(3⁄5): Definitely not the best i’ve had but they were decent. You can add your own spices to your elotes at the condiments bar near the wall. Mangonada(3.5÷5): The mangonada was A-OK. It was sweet and slushy. I expected the mangonada to be topped with mangos but there was only the syrup topping in the drink. Therefore, it was a bit of a bummer to see no mangos in the drink itself. As for service, the cashier was friendly and we had a small wait time due to the number of drinks we ordered. All in all, I would return to try other items on the menu!

I went at night near closing time and I’m glad they didn’t close before their closing time. So that’s a plus. Their fruits are good but the mango in a cup(I don’t know how to pronounce or spell it) is some what good. I taste mostly ice but overall the place is good and would comeback again!

Place was ok. The kids behind counter were fast and quick with attending to everyone. It was pretty busy for Thursday night. We got the mangonada and my some got snow cone. The snow cone was terrible no flavor to it at all. The mangonada was ok, this was the first time trying. I expected the cup to be full of mango but no, just the toppings. Probably will not be back.

Well went there today after anticipating going for so long and realized I really need to know how to speak Spanish! LOL. There is a wide variety of things to pick from but all very unfamiliar so I went with the candy crush and it was OK. The picture is so pretty but it is very very sweet with tons of candy in it. I’m sure my children would have loved it. But maybe if I can take one of my Latina friends with me next time to help me out because the cashier didn’t understand what I was asking but they were friendly.

I’ve been here a couple of times and I really like the food. The tostadas are really good. The meat is very juicy. I also love the strawberries and cream. Not too sweet. Just perfect. I have also had the mixed fruit that has granola and honey and that was good as well. The only reason for 4 stars is because it is too noisy in there. They have 2 tvs, which is fine but then they have a radio that is usually turned up loud as well. The seating area is small and doesn’t need all that plus the customers talking. They should choose one or the other or mute the TV and just have music playing.

Good unique types of snacks. Could work on appearance, and maybe putting the prices on tue menus. They accept calls to request orders

Fresh fruit(Mexican Style) quick service & yummy traditional snacks. Go with a fruit salad or shaved iced.

I love the Rusas, but be warned it is huge! Lucky to have this place on our side of town instead of hauling to the Southside of Houston. Only issue is there isn’t enough variety and if you order a whole lot it’s a waiting game. Be prepared for it. Once you get your order you can add your own concoction of chili powders. That’s a plus. Only lost a star to lack of variety and wait time. Happy Eats!

I was excited to check this place out for a preparada because that’s all my cousins rave abut in Pasadena. It was ok, but not as packed with candy and absolute greatness as the ones my cousins have had. 5 gummy bears, that was about it. I would have to say that the pineapple was sweet and delicious.

I spent weeks getting excited about coming here and left a bit disappointed. I’ve seen photos of this place on instagram and the Pina Loca had captured my attention Came here on a Friday night and it was PACKED. There were about 4 – 5 groups in front of me when I had gotten there and only one register. The place was busy busy and the orders were coming out extreeeemely slow. There are a few menus scattered around the order counter, as well as signs(with pictures, for all of us non-spanish speaking folks) covering the walls. Brother and I ordered two mangonadas, and a pina loca The total was a little under $ 20. You wouldn’t know that since THEREARENOPRICESADVERTISEDANYWHERE. Waited and waited for what seemed like two years, it was actually over an HOUR for our order to be filled. For a place that doesn’t serve much hot entrees and mostly drinks, they’re extremely slow. Not sure how many people are working, but this is probably the only reason I won’t be back. The drinks itself were pretty decent, the mangonada was nice and slushy. the pina loca is a behemoth, I wasn’t even sure where to start. Overall, the experience was a one time thing for me, I wasn’t super impressed.

Delicious!!! Love the Preparadas full of fruit nice and cold. The piñaloka looks and tastes great and is huge!!! It takes a bit of a wait to her your complete order but I think at the end is worth it. The Troles are very well shaved ice easily eatable!!! Will come back every weekend! Lol!

I had been on the search for a preparada since I went to visit friends in my home town and all they did was talk about it and I was never able to find a place. I came upon this place not far from where I live! I ordered an elote and a preparada. I didn’t wait very long, maybe about 10 minutes. Elote was hot and the preparada was huge!!! Extremely filling and really great taste!!! I was very happy and will be returning again!!! I can’t wait to try something different from their menu!!!

Selection of raspas, elote, tostadas, nieve, tortas, and preparadas and other latin snacks. Came on a Sunday and it was packed. They do accept credit cards but believe it was a $ 5 minimum. I had the ruso, tostada and elote especial which were all pretty good. Why I gave it 3 stars because it took 45 minutes to finally get my order and the place could use some cleaning. Alot of sticky tables and trash left from customers.
