NEVER waste your time or money at this place. They are liars & unprofessional. Victor, the manager, lacks customer service skills. Kept asking me what I wanted him to do for me & according to him all of my requests were unreasonable. This was the 2nd I used this place, SHAMEONME! Unilocal will not let me give them 0 stars, but even that would be too many.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I called them to replace my cell phone screen it was only going to be 100 but they had to keep my phone for 2 days. The man I talked to on the phone was soo rude. On my way there, I drove past«a cellphone repair and jewelry» store. It’s on jones road and west wood(across from Popeyes). The man working was so friendly and it turned out the LCD and glass was broken. He only charged me 70 dollars and it took 15 minutes. I will never go anywhere else now. My phone is working perfectly :)

Do not use Dr. cell phone. I brought my fully functional iPhone 5 into the highway 290 location on 4 January for a cracked screen. The next day the brightness on the phone completely went out. I returned the phone to them on the 6th January. Today the 20th January 2015 I finally got my phone back after several phone calls and several visits. Not only does the phone not have brightness anymore it won’t turn on. Dr Cell Phone has completely broken my phone!!! I was forced to buy a new iPhone six to replace this one. I spoke with Victor and Chris at the 290 location. I’m not sure if I have any legal recourse if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Once again. ###### not use Dr. cell phone to repair your electronics. #######

This was the worst service experience I have EVER had by Victor! This was my second time bringing my cell phone to this location(19710 Northwest Fwy, Jersey Village, TX77065) and I NEVER will again!!! The LCD went out on my iPhone after having it repaired about 3 months ago by Dr. Cell Phone. Victor explained to me that their warranty was only for 30days. He refused to honor the sign posted on the register which stated that customers would receive a $ 20 discount to leave a comment on face book or google. I qualified to receive the discount but he refused to give it to me(without explanation) and then became extremely defensive and argumentative in order to get me to leave the store so he wouldn’t have to give me the discount. Instead of trying to provide good customer service he was arrogant and continued to over-talk me whenever I asked a question. Clearly this company needs to train their people on how to provide quality customer service and maybe it would not be necessary to trick people into leaving good reviews in order to get a discount(that you never really receive)!!! I drove the extra distance to a place called Payless Computer and Cell Phone Service and dealt with a person who provided quality customer service. His name is Don and they are located at 12343 Murphy Road Suite B 77477. I was prepared to pay the same price for my phone repair as Dr. Cell because the service was AWESOME and Don was extremely pleasant and helpful over the phone & in person!!! You can never put a price on quality service!!! I will be taking my phone there from now on!!! I refuse to give my money to someone who’s willing to argue with me as the customer in an effort to prove a point!

Dear Unilocalers, if LOVE your MONEY and your ELECTRONICS please avoid these UNPROFESSIONAL and UNTRAINED people at all cost. I learned it the hard way, please don’t make the same mistake as me. AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! Here is my Story: I went to Dr. Cell phone(this location only) in order to get my phone’s(Galaxy Note 2) broken screen fixed. I saw their review on Unilocal and Google and I should have known better to stay away from them. However, they were the closet one from me so, I decided to just go in. I went there and talked to guy named Kevin(Over all a nice guy). There was a sign on the POS system that, if I do review on google, Unilocal and Facebook I will get 30% off my repair so, while waiting I did my reviews. Obviously, I gave them good reviews and thought what could go wrong, it’s a simple problem. I should have known better. He told to it will be about Hours 1.5 hours, which I gladly waited. At that time, the phone was working and was in an excellent condition since it was about 6 month old. After 1.5 hours I went there to pick up my phone, where they told me that LCD wasn’t working and told me that I have to leave it overnight. I gladly agreed to that as well. The following day when I went to pick up my phone, a guy named Victor told me that the phone’s home button was not working and kind of hinted that, phone was like that when I brought it in and also told me that, I need to tell them If there is any defect to the phone. Kevin(first guy) saw me using the phone to do my reviews. I told him that the phone was in perfect condition except for the broken glass. Victor told me that Kevin is the new guy there and he doesn’t know what to do in that kind of situation. So, agreed to fix my phone and told me that they have to order the home flex button(home button). After making me wait 4 days, they told me my parts was there so, I went there and gave them my phone. After about 2 hours they told me it’s fixed, turns out the problem is still there and Victor told me that’s all he could do and also pointed me out that the light of the home button is coming up so, it must be working. I showed him that it’s not and completely irritated and angry I left their premises. NEVERAGAIN AGAIN, if LOVE your MONEY and your ELECTRONICS please avoid these UNPROFESSIONAL and UNTRAINED people at all cost. I learned it the hard way, please don’t make the same mistake as me. AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!!

QUALITYOFGLASSISHORRIBLE! BUYELSEWHERE! I know it’s hard to prove what broke your screen or the circumstances so I’m not upset they didn’t cover the broken screen. They said since it didn’t have impact marks it could have had pressure applied to it that caused the two cracks to form and spread. Sounds legit until you realize my phone stays in my front pocket or on my desk at work when sitting down. I have had a couple screens online that held up fine to low drops, getting stepped on by my kids, and didn’t break until taking a violent fall. Well their«quality» screen didn’t last two weeks before having cracks spread across my screen. FYI I was in a training class the week they formed so spent the most of my week with my phone on a desk. The only reason I went here was because my phone broke to the point I couldn’t use it. Needless to say I will be ordering two screens online. One to replace their trash and one to have back up so I am never in a position to need them again.

Avoid these idiots at all cost! If I could give a negative star, I would, but Unilocal doesn’t work that way. This is a long overdue review that needs to be written. A couple of months back, after being referred by my cousin, I came here because my son cracked his iPod touch’s screen. I asked them how long it would take and was told that it would take about an hour. So fine, I took my son to neighboring stores like Academy, Target, and Walmart to look for Texans gears and killed more than an hour and a half time to give them extra time to finish. When I came back to pickup the device, I was told that they hadn’t had a chance to start on it. At the same time when I walked in, I can clearly hear them being loud and having unwork related fun in the back. Anyhow, I sat around for another two hours with my son while they worked on it. When they finished, they handed the device to me and charged me $ 140. My son then noticed that the glass was not tight against the case. When I asked them about it, they said that maybe my son dropped the iPod in a way where the frame is bent and so, they couldn’t do anything to secure it tightly. Then, I asked them why they didn’t bring this up prior to making the repair, to which they answered that they did tell me prior. Yeah right, just like how you handed me the device back without making me aware of the screen not being secured tightly and just asked for payment, right? To make a long story short of this day, I told them that I was not happy with the service I had received. Then, one of the guys said, «Well, I can buy this device back for $ 100.» To which, it took a lot of composure to not say«WTF, are you kidding me!!!» Instead, with my son’s presence, I’ve reduced that statement to «You charged me $ 140 to do an unsatisfactory job, and then decide to buy my device for $ 100? That must be a real nice profit for you.» In the end, I kept the iPod touch and they ended up providing a 15% discount and a free screen protector, which they placed on real quick on my son’s device with a bunch of air bubbles. After this nightmare, I vowed never to return here again. Or would I… A few days ago, my Samsung Galaxy S3 decided it would switch on and off erradically and get stuck at the Samsung logo screen. After doing much research online through forums, it appeared to be a software issue after the new Android 4.3 update, or a power button failure issue. I had gone to another«cell phone repair shop» initially and was told that there was nothing they can do. So, in desperation, I stopped by these guys again. I explained the whole ordeal to him, along with my findings. However, he told me that my phone is as good as dead and there is nothing he can do with it. When I re-emphasized the solutions that I found online, he then stated«I can take a look and be glad to take your $ 29.99 for looking at it, but I doubt it’ll do anything.» So I just left. I got tired ot dealing with idiots. So I went home, researched further via Youtube, Google, and tech forums. And after a long day of trial and error, resuscitated my phone back to work. What a bunch of crooks. «Dr. Cell Phone» my @$$. The only cell phone repair they are capable of is screen repair, oh wait, they can’t do that either as they did with my son’s iPod! They should rename themselves«Dr. Ripoff»
