My boyfriend and I arrived at this store right around 11:30a.m. on a Friday and waited for 45 minutes without being acknowledged in any way. There were two Cellular World(AT&T service) employees helping two groups of people that had long, complicated service issues. As a former retail store manager, I understand that sometimes you get those difficult customers that are very time-consuming. However, what was so disappointing was that both us and the women waiting in front of us were not addressed in any way, shape, or form. Rather than pause, look up, apologize for the wait, or warn us about the wait, the two staff members continued to serve their customers for a straight 45 minutes without so much as looking up. There are no chairs to sit and wait. When you’re 6 months pregnant, that’s a pretty brutal amount of time to be on your feet without any reprieve. We finally gave up and left. When we called the store afterwards to complain, we were shocked to learn that the employee serving the desk in front of us was in fact the manager and she(Brittany) expressed no regret concerning their conduct. I have no intention of returning to this store. Given AT&T’s poor service record, I will likely end my service with them when my contract expires. This is the last straw in a pile of straws of poor customer service provided by AT&T and their third-party customer service providers.

I am actually pleased to be an AT&T Wireless customer, and my experience has been greatly enhanced by the quality of service I have received when I needed in-store help. The thing that makes this Cellular World so great is its staff. All of the employee’s I have met are very nice and down to earth. Never once have I got the feeling that they didn’t want to be at work, or were annoyed with customer. I started coming to this store when mine and my mother’s contracts expired, and we were able to upgrade our phones. Even though the hour was late the employee’s were upbeat and very helpfully when it came to telling us about each phone. Once we had picked(Me a Motorola Backflip and her an iPhone) the employees began the paperwork and as the computer loaded our information they showed us interesting tips and tricks for each phone. The next time we visited to buy car chargers and cases, and the staff remembered us and was again very pleasant and helpful. Most recently we came into the store with a technical issue, and I was bracing myself for the staff to blame the problem on something I had done, even though it was a software issue. However, I was surprised by how helpful and understanding they were. After printing out the address and map location for the nearest device support center I thanked them and left to return my phone. Sadly the support center was not as pleasant as this store and I was forced to call a customer service line on drive home. Being so fed up with the operator we again stopped into the store, and the staff placed the call and helped me get my replacement phone without all the hassle. As long as I’m an AT&T customer I will be coming to this store for help, upgrades when my contract is up, and any other service. I LOVE this store, and all of its staff!
