I’m so taken by this store that I wanted to share a review. Stumbled into it yesterday during my first visit to CityCentre. From the moment you step inside, DrydenKreps captives you. The smell, the warm welcome, the SOHO-like design, and the selection for men and women. That soothing smell comes from the irresistible Archipeligo Botanical candles.(Santorini came home with me.) Brittany’s warm welcome and helpful, knowledgeable service was a contrast to the national chain down the sidewalk(that couldn’t «have me at ‘hello’» because the word wasn’t heard during my 15 minutes in there.) At DrydenKreps, co-owner Brian Kreps shared plans for their new 2500 sq ft ladies section opening Aug. 1 and some lines they’ll acquire at NYC and Chicago Markets this month. Trina Turk clothing and jewelry and some Tracy Reese got my attention. What did I take home? Jill Reno earrings — handcrafted in Texas — beautiful, collectible Menswear: If I had a man in my life, I’d want DrydenKreps as his stylist. Is your man out of style? Bring him here and replace that dreadful closet, one shirt at a time so you’ll call him handsome. DrydenKreps has dedicated parking in front and in the garage. A jewel.
