I called on a Sunday. They told me they could take me in 30 minutes. I showed up 30 minutes later. They then told me 10 minutes. After 30 minutes they FINALLY started on me. I complained to the technicians about the wait. Two other women in the salon said they always wait ½ hour to an hour. I won’t go back. There are so many nail salons on every corner, they can put up with the«standard wait» but I don’t have to!

Very satisfied with their work. My manicures I let anyone do, but my favorite pedicure is from Ms. Yen. She’s the only person that’s worked on my toes so far. Her work is very thorough and her massages feel like they last forever(I wish!) haha. But by the looks of it I feel like they all do good on pedicures. ***Update: Don’t come when they’re about to close. I actually came at 4:30pm. They close at 7pm. That should have been plenty of time to do everything correctly. I’m not going to get into detail about what happened, but I won’t be coming back.

I like trying new nail salons… so I had seen this one before in a nice plaza next to the Beltway and Briar forest. When I walked in I felt like I was let early in a spa … very light and classy. Everyone was friendly. When I’m about to select my color for my nails the lady keeps saying«pick a color» … and I just kind of paused and said to myself okay… then I proceeded to sit down. I had already mentioned to them that I didn’t want a manicure, just the nail color change. So why do I have this lady continously say. oh you should get a manicure too, you have too many cuticles. it’s messy. if I told you from the very beginning I didn’t want a manicure then don’t try convincing me that I should. I was limited on time and all she could talk about was how I didn’t get the manicure. If your going to hound me for 5 extra dollars then business must not be good. The lady I had had a nice smart ass remarks to say… the whole time she was saying how I was in a rush so she was rushing to do my nails. I didn’t say for you to rush… if I’m getting my nails done then you should do them right. Didn’t have a great experience here… I was really disappointed. I hope my shellac lasts up to 2 weeks but as other reviews have mentioned, think twice before coming here. Just because your in a decent location and have great décor doesn’t mean you will get the greatest of service. Sorry to say but I will not be coming back here. I was so turned off by the smart ass remarks and service. It was a messy job… you can see for yourself in my pictures.

First time ever getting shellac on Thursday January 22, my nails looked great. Less than 24hours 3 nails the polish completely fell off in one piece. Pretty sure that is not suppose to happen. So I went back the next day and got it fixed On Friday January 23. Today is Sunday night and 7 of my nails after I just finished washing my hair fell off completely again!!! Will never been going here again!

First impression was ok, the Buddha altar is at the door instead of the usual back of the salons and really big… went there for a shellac mani… chose my color and sat down on an almost broken chair… started to get unconfortable and looking around to check cleanliness(floors were very dirty and corners extremely dusty)… so I missed to see where did the lady got the cuticle nipper from… from there it went downhill… very poor job in all the steps… then it came time for the polish… she brings this dirty UV machine that I gentle cleaned the corner with the towel… but the entire process I didn’t touch the machine from inside… then out of three lights one was out and the second one barely on… I mentioned to the lady but she didn’t change for a new machine… now of course it’s been a couple of days only and the Polish is breaking and peeling… Not coming back at all, really sad as I work on the building where the salon is located… will try to upload a picture next…

In desperate need of a pedicure(isn’t that always the case?) I remembered seeing this small salon tucked into a strip center off of Briar Forest & the Beltway. Crossing my fingers & toes I headed over Sunday afternoon hoping I wouldn’t have a long wait. As mentioned previously, this place is small with only 5 spa chairs &4 nail stations/desks. The walls are a soothing sage green & the salon itself very clean & shiny. I was immediately greeted & told to pick a color while a very nice lady prepared the foot bath. Would I like a manicure? One look at my hands had me nodding in agreement. The spa chairs were comfy with the auto-adjustment buttons built into the arm of the chair making it easy to operate. The lady giving me the manicure turned on the massage feature and whatever program she chose had me in a coma within a few minutes. Usually massage chairs aren’t aligned with my back but this one was. The pedicure was ok. Nothing spectacular, the usual spa pedi with the usual add ons. I just wish the lady(sorry didn’t get her name) was as meticulous with the foot work as she was with the application of the polish. One should not have to pumice their feet the next day or take a pair of scissors to tame the errant cuticle. I was disappointed with the manicure. It seems I got the least experienced technician and it shows. Only one coat of nail color and sloppy. Overall I am ok with the service. The ladies working here are very nice. Maybe when they are more«seasoned» the service will get better. This place will never be my first choice but in a pinch…

On the plus side, it was clean and convenient. The down side, there were not that friendly or welcoming. No offer of something to drink. They had the TV on the news the whole time and it kept blanking at as well. I have been getting acrylic nails done for over 20 years and this place did not do a good job. It looked nice in the beginning, but by the end of the first week they were splitting and cracking. I know a good job when I get it, they are supposed to last. I will not be going back there. Too bad, very close to my home.

This place is close to my house, always clean, and even though it’s small you almost never need an appointment, which is why I love going here.
