Beautiful spot on the South side to really get out with your friends and drink without the pressures of dressing up to meet a dress code– plus no cover!
This lounge shares space in a mini shopping center, which provides ample self parking at no charge as well leaving you with money to spend on plenty of spirits at the fully stocked bar. But will take your breath away is the inside. Gorgeous! You can tell that it is new and it is being taken care of. Plenty of seating areas, bar stools, and bathrooms stalls to keep you comfortable enhanced by bright lighting and warm café tones throughout the establishment. We even met the owner who checked on us to make sure we were good.
The only drawback is the unavailability of food and the crowd. This was my third spot of the night and after a couple of drinks I was feeling good and ready to dance. The DJ was spinning a great mix of old school and current R&B and Rap hits, but not too many people were dancing. It is a lounge granted, but by 12 a few drinks should make you a little loose. Therefore, if you dont mind being the one who starts the party and turns up, then this might be the spot for you– if you prefer for the place to be already hyped up, then this is NOT the spot for you. It is a lounge and there a few flarscreens to keep the sports buffs entertained, but bottom line you got to have food available to keep the liquor flowing. When we arrived, I was already feeling my buzz (no worries I had DD with me – designated driver) but wanted to drink some more. I knew I’d be able to handle more if I just had some food, but none available. Against my own intuition I took some free drinks from a friend (it’s hard to turn down free) and started feeling nauseous. Long story short my DD drove us home and I was sleep most of the ride home and threw up soon as we arrived there– not a good look. So I will return to my premise and restate once again that you must make surr you eat before coming to this lounge to enjoy your time accordingly.
