I made a delivery of shipping supplies to the shop, and never have I been so impressed by customers: they were very, very nice fellas. My wife and I are animal lovers, and we’ll definitely be checking them out :)

We stumbled into this little shop while killing some time in the Village. We saw the pet themed items in the window and just had to go in. You must ring to get in and they may be in back, so don’t get too discouraged if it takes a while for them to come open up. It is a working silver smith. The selection here is wonderful. They specialize in charms and naturalistic themed pendants, rings, and bracelets. They also carry a few gold pieces and polymer pieces. Their items are loads of fun and exrtemely high quality. I will go so far as to agree with another reviewer and say they are better than James Avery, by a long shot. Their level of detail and finish is extremely fine, and I am a picky jewelry connoisseur. If you are looking for a gift, this place is great for pet lovers and charm bracelet fans. There are some pieces for guys too. I saw several things that my hub liked and I picked up a gift for my bestie, since he’s been extra great, recently. The guy that was working there was very sweet. He is usually behind the scenes, but since the boss had stepped out for a minute, he was happy to assist us. When he had trouble with the computer while ringing us up, he just whipped out the olé mobile phone, calculated the total and we cashed out that way. Awesome. He put the gift in a lovely box and bag and we were out the door, happy as clams. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who loves silver charms, pendants, rings, or necklaces. You most definitely will like the selection and service.

I received a Christmas present that my friend bought me and it came from this store. It is a very simple, classy well made silver chain with a small dainty pendant with my initials beautifully engraved. The overall appearance of it is perfect. It’s really hard to find jewelry pieces that are simple where they don’t overdo it. This is just perfect. I especially love the font they used to inscribe my initials – very beautiful. I will upload a photo when I can. I may have to stop by their storefront to check it out. What is neat about this place is that it’s a local business and not a national chain. I don’t see too many local stores now a days and I am all about trying to support them. Its a rarity to find small businesses now a day.

I actually became acquainted with the work of Esquivel & Fees a number of years ago through a small advertisement placed toward the back of Texas Monthly magazine. When I decided that I wanted a charm bracelet to commemorate the lives of my two cats who passed away last year, I knew I wanted the bracelet to come from Esquivel and Fees. My husband gave me the bracelet and charms as a Christmas gift, and we went to the store to have the charms soldered, or attached, to the bracelet. It was such a pleasure to actually meet Ted Fees in person. He is a delightful person, and I couldn’t have asked for a better shopping experience. I had always shopped at James Avery for silver jewelry, but anything created by Esquivel and Fees fars exceeds James Avery in detail, beauty, quality, and customer service. They have a wide selection of dog and cat charms in almost every breed, even the more exotic breeds, and a large selection of University of Texas charms. In addition to charms, there are also earrings, money clips, keychains, etc. I can’t wait to go back to buy more charms.
