I had 6 pieces of sushi for 55USD. I normally have the same order in California for under 20, — with a lot more food and fresher. The Ankimo was still frozen and the tuna pieces was so so. The Unagi was good tasting, but looked like little dots on my chopsticks. I might come back, if I win the lottery

I love this place to get together with friends, especially during happy hour, which is really affordable and delicious! This place definitely trumps Oishii as my favorite sushi place in Houston now. I’ve never had trouble getting a table here, although I could see making reservations as helpful during peak business hours, especially if you come with a group of over four people. Can’t wait to try more of their rolls soon!

Best Happy Hour in town. 5−7pm. A plethora of options at good prices. The spicy chopped scallop sushi is a must try. They also seem to always have the freshest salmon — highly recommend. The Ramen is probably over looked on the menu but shouldn’t be as it’s as good as many of the trendy Ramen shops that are popping up everywhere.

Best sushi I’ve had in Houston so far, been back 2 times and both times I was treated nicely and professionally. I recommend the shaggy dog to anyone that roll is to die for.

During a work visit to Houston, someone at the hotel recommended this place. Luckily we got there before Happy Hour was over. What’s so good about their Happy Hour? Well, rolls are $ 4 – 7 and absolutely EPPPPPPIC. If work(or pleasure) has me back in Houston, I’m coming back!

I thought EurAsia was going to be a different kind of sushi place, but it really is just like the others. I have nothing against Americanized rolls(in fact, I think they’re delicious), but the ones here don’t particularly stand out to me. They’re not super high quality and ~$ 12 – 16 each, which is also standard. They do have more combinations of ingredients, but the menu was so extensive, it was hard for me to sort through all the rolls and figure what the differences between them were. My mom and I shared the beef rice bowl, the alaska roll and the boba fett roll. –beef rice bowl– way too saucy and salty, but it was nice that they added a lot of veggies to it. –alaska roll– tasty but looked a little messy on the plate. The pieces were different thicknesses and didn’t seem like they were cut every well. We ordered the boba fett roll a little later, but it took so long for it to be made that we were already done eating by that time, so we just asked them to pack it up to go. I tried a piece there though to see how it tasted fresh. –boba fett roll– okay. I love all the ingredients in it, so I thought I would love the roll, but it was kind of just… wimpy. The shrimp wasn’t crunchy and the topping of eel was sparse. Service was just okay too. The food took a long time to come out even though the place was pretty empty. There’s plenty of parking in the complex so no need to worry about that!

This has been the best sushi place I’ve been to in Houston and it’s close to home. Every time I come here, the service is awesome. The food is awesome and I always find parking.

A poor chef was in training maybe day 1 of being a chef there, thrown out to cut fish at the bar — what? His chef /trainer didn’t know the menu — but you can’t blame him, it was endless. The manager /waiter /only guy who knew the menu that was 500 items long… was going back and forth between chef as to what kinds of sauces should be on a particular order. They had no idea what they had and didn’t have. Uni? Toro? Toro was frozen and a little gross. Tuna, same. Salmon was OK. The oshinko was so metallic tasting I could still taste it in my mouth the next day. That was the part that was horrifying and that pickled radish should be never horrifying, it’s like ordering a cucumber roll. There should be no risk. It was bizarre. It’s funny. You know something should be up when a restaurant, in the middle of nowhere, is piled high with great Unilocal reviews by reviewers with 1 – 8 reviews. Stick with the part of the menu that is fried. And eat things only well cooked. And something commonly ordered, one of the 50 dishes instead of the one of 500 dishes. Sushi in Houston is NOT like this place. My fault for thinking I could get high quality sashimi at a «euro pan-asian» place.

Came back for HH with a girlfriend. Their prices and location for me aren’t bad so I’ll continue to go here because of that. We ordered the calamari to start and this was actually my first time trying it. I loved it!!! The batter was amazing and its only $ 4. That’s a steal. As always, I had to order the Alaska roll. They actually tried to present the roll better this time around and the rolls weren’t falling apart. I also tried another roll, but this is still my go-to roll during HH.

I finally found a good sushi place close to work! I tried several places that were just eh before I found this one. They have a great selection, and the prices are good. I had the chicken roll, a half order of vegetable fried rice, and tamanegi soup. Everything was delicious!

Very accommodating. Very delicious food, as great sake. Biggest complaint is too many delicious options to choose from. Highly suggest.

Stumbled upon this place while Unilocaling for hh sushi joints. Def a great place for happy hour. We ordered for appetizers: baked mussels & the yellowtail sashimi dish. For the rolls, we ordered the pink lady, energy roll, and the lets do it roll. Baked mussels had good flavor but I wished they cut up the mussels into smaller pieces. Yellowtail sashimi was really delicious but veryyyy small portion for the hefty price. Plus it wasn’t on the hh menu. The pink lady roll is all cooked which reminded me of a traditional shaggy dog roll. Was good. The energy had really good flavor and was also enjoyable. The lets do it roll was our least favorite. Nothing special about it. But we will come back to try the other stuff.

I go here now and then already a year and it was not a single time when I was not satisfied completely with their food and service! I like their cocktails; lycheetiny is my favorite. Their long happy hours make this place especially attractive! And if you don’t like Saturday night crowd in downtown/midtown but still want to enjoy light and flavorful food — then it’s the best place to go!

Excellent bento boxes, reasonably good Sushi, I’m not really feeling the fusion vibe much as predominately this is a Sushi/Japanese place. They do have excellent salads, miso soup, pretty much anything fried is a winner(tempura/tonkatusu/etc). Sushi is middle of the road, though let me also point out it’s inexpensive too, so if you’re weened on $ 100 sushi this might be a little of a let down, however if you’re on a budget and have finite time for lunch this place is pretty good, and it does a brisk business at lunch though they’re pretty efficient time wise. For Spring Branch this is pretty darn respectable and in my humble pretty good Sushi, so all in all it’s a winner just don’t expect it to be cutting edge or just off the boat fresh — if that’s an issue for you then go to Westheimer and spend 5x as much.

So… good things first. I was lucky to arrive for Happy Hour here. The prices were UNBEATABLE. $ 5 hot sake, $ 3 wine, and $ 2 beers. Wow. The nigiri was also pretty good, especially at $ 1-$ 2 per piece. Not too shabby, and tasty. They have an amazing selection of rolls. Next time, I’ll probably get one or two rolls and only sushi because… Well, now we get to the bad The appetizers… While priced properly, I wasn’t impressed. The calamari was mostly breading, and I wasn’t a fan of the sauce. I would have preferred an aoli or something spicy to dip it in, and more calamari. The vegetable tempura was ok, but something about it didn’t quite click for me. The waittress didn’t give us great attention. I think her friends were behind us, and our drink order was lost at one point… When we got our drinks, HH was over and one of them was charged at regular prices. Just a little irritating. Overall, the pros outweighed the cons and we will definitely be back. Hopefully with a better waiter and we’ll only try one new appetizer next time. Save the rest of the room in our stomachs for their awesome sushi rolls and nigiri :).
