The food here is always tasty and cheaper than its sister restaurant, PF Changs. Usually pretty quick, but sometimes takes a while, which is to be expected since they make it to order. The chicken lettuce wraps are always a crowd pleaser. I’ve enjoyed the teriyaki chicken, sesame chicken, and honey seared chicken(I’m not a big spicy fan). The crab wontons are a bit different style than the kind typically served at other restaurants, so they aren’t my favorite, but they aren’t the worst and my brother and his wife love them, so just depends on your taste preference. Over all, a good tasting and fairly quick option.

Save your money! I wish I would have taken a pic of my chicken lo mein prior to requesting a refund. The noodles looked like spaghetti noodles with a lil bit of sauce. Not your traditional lo mein noodles. Plus, they were skimpy on the chicken so I essentially just had a big bowl of spaghetti noodles. My friend got fried rice. That, I took a pic of; since when does fried rice look like this? They got 2 stars simply because of customer service. The only thing I would recommend is the edamame and shrimp rolls. Pei Wei missed the mark with this Asian style cuisine.

Pretty good pei Wei for Houston area, used to be better with old menu. Sunday night to-go line gets crazy busy sometimes.

I came here after practicing yoga at Joy, I was not really hungry and actually thanked to that. The reason I said that because, man oh man, their Pad Thai was way too salty. And I’m a pure Vietnamese who always like salty and spicy over other flavors but I could not stand their saltiness. I squeezed out all the juice from that one and only lime slice they included with the Pad Thai, but it did not help at all. Maybe the guy or lady who cooked my Pad Thai was even a bigger fan of salt? Geez, there are still other seasonings(sugar, pepper, less salty soy sauce!!!) that you could use, right? They were so crowded because it was lunch time so I did not bother to complain and demand they remake my food, you know. I only ate 1⁄3 of the portion. To sum up: It’s too salty, I probably will not come back even though I come to that block almost everyday. Give yourself a little drive to the Whole Food next door, their food is consumable without the enormous amount of salt. Or if you decide to go anyway, don’t forget to wrap a package of sugar for May Day or drink a lot of water before drown yourself in the lake of supper salty soy sauce.

Love this place! I usually order my lunch online and get it to go. Everything I’ve tried is great. I just had the Kung Pao Chicken with lettuce cups. It was so very delicious. My go to choices are the Thai chicken lettuce wraps, Dan Dan noodles and crab wontons. They have reasonable prices and meal choices for those watching their calories. I usually add extra veges to everything for just a buck more. I’ve never been disappointed with the service and they are really fast with preparing your food fresh to order.

As a first time visitor, my boyfriend loved Pei Wei. I thought he would and was happy that he enjoyed the steak(?) dish that he ordered. I however, had been to Pei Wei several times, I used to frequent the Buffalo Speedway location, and I have to say that is the one that i’ll be returning to the next time I have a craving. I ordered sushi which was plopped down in front of me by an under-zealous waitress, and I thought the plate was an interesting color, but even in the day time and through glass doors, the lighting isn’t great and I couldn’t be sure if the food was being served on a plate that just looked a bit dingy or not. By the time there were two other plates on the table, I knew my suspicions about the plates just being sort of gross were correct. As for the sushi itself… avoid it. I took a chance on a new menu item, the wasabi crunch roll, and was not rewarded for my bravery. I was surprised that something with wasabi in the name could be so flavorless, and of course the presentation did little to help. I had the spring rolls, which I love. They’re vegetarian and come with this amazing dipping sauce that has a hint of ginger. Getting only two, and dining in were tied as my biggest regrets. My suggestion to anyone would be to visit another location, and stick with the tried and true menu items. Prices are in a great range and they even have menu items like the lettuce wraps you’d find at P.F. Chang’s; the exact same because Pei Wei is P.F. Changs’ fast casual restaurant!

It doesn’t matter which Pei Wei it is… My food is already ready for takeout when I arrive! I get a cup of hot and sour soup and the honey seared chicken. It’s delish! Great service, very clean and nice lightening in the placer!

I’m not sure why we keep eating here. Maybe because my 5 year old loves the honey seared chicken kid’s dish? Most of the time, the entrées we order are over sauced and over salted. If you have hypertension, don’t go here. They are always kind enough to replace an entrée with something else if it comes out too salty, but it happens a lot.

This place has the worst customer service. I ordered a spicy chicken salad and received a salad… Yes a salad Not a chicken salad. I informed the individual that brought the salad to me that there was no chicken on my salad. Her immediate response was the salad does not come with meat on it. I said to her so I ordered a chicken salad that does not come with meat. At this point I’m being sarcastic because I had just had the same menu item a day before at a different location. She then clicks and says I’ll be back. She returned to tell me they would be preparing my chicken on the side. After an almost 20 minute wait I get up and head to the counter. Some rude employees yell and say your salad is coming as a matter of fact we will bring you a complete new salad, as if to shut me up. The manager is behind the counter witnessing the rude behavior and says nothing he is visibly irritated himself. .Really? ! Finally I received a new salad with white lettuce ends and it is a crappy poor excuse for a salad and missing the snow peas and cilantro. .The first salad looked better. I would have just taken the chicken on the side. The manager does a poor job the workers do a poor job and the food WASNOTGOOD!!! This place should get zero stars. I hate the fact we can’t give zero stars.

The fried rice with vegetables are excellent and the food overall is cheap(less than $ 10 a plate). Wasn’t thrilled with the vegetable rolls, but the rice was good enough to compensate. The staff was friendly and everything appeared clean. Will go back whenever I am in the area.

Ok chinese food of you want to call it that. It is resonably priced and good quality. It is worth the visit especially if craving chinese. I like the Coke machine that allowa one to combine flavors. The service is ok.

Now that I’ve tried enough of their dishes to give a semi-educated review, I figured I was way overdue to review this place, since I eat here about once a week. The best deal about Pei Wei is that it’s cheap! Typically for lunch I can order any of a number of their small lunch dishes for about $ 6-$ 7, and it’s enough to fill me up at lunch. I’ve got to admit that if I ate here at dinner, I’d be more likely to order the large plate, which probably would add about $ 1.50-$ 2.00 to the cost. I haven’t found any dishes I dislike yet. They had a «seasonal» dish they discontinued that was truly outstanding – Thai lime chicken salad, which could be ordered over rice or noodles instead of as a salad. I wish they’d make it a permanent item on their menu. All their dishes that I’ve eaten are full of fresh ingredients, especially important with those that have vegetables in them. From the time you order until you’re served is typically no more than 5 – 6 minutes, but the line to order can get somewhat lengthy at lunchtime.

I like a lot the dining atmosphere. I did see a little bit more room for improvement, in keeping the dining area a little bit more clean(tables &chairs) For my first time experience from 1 – 10 I would definitely give it a 8.5.

I have always been a fan of Pei Wei.(Almost) P. F Chang quality food at a great price. Can’t be beat. And I just cannot justify paying any amount of money for lunch at Panda Express when I can get better quality for the same price. This location seems brand new and is the typical Pei Wei lay-out. Service was very fast even at lunch hour but it was packed to the brim. I got an order of two crab wontons; delicious as usual and that sweet and spicy sauce is to die for. The smaller portion they have as an option is great for a fast lunch and at a fair price. So I ordered the Spicy Korean with chicken. I love how fresh and crisp their veggies are and the pieces of chicken are big but not enough of them in one dish. That’s pretty much the only thing I would change.

I came here to have lunch with Patty May and Betty Jean and I must tell you all it was a delightingful experience. They have these biscuit like critters that you break open that have little words inside that say all sorts of insightful things. I ate about 15 or so and put all the little foreign words together to make a song. Me and my band the moonshiners are going to play the song at my big show this weekend at opies roadhouse and BBQ. I would definitely come back to this Pee Wee place and bring my grand kids.

Thought I would try this since, I live next door, and never tried it. The employees seemed unorganized waited 15 min to order and there was no line. My food was very odd and salty for an asain dish. I ordered pad tai with checken. It was decorated with huge cilantro leaves that required me to manually year off and dress my own plates, accompanied by huge long pieces of chive onion again unedible.

This baby barely makes 2.5 stars. I ordered lettuce wraps, and NOLETTUCE! The pick up and to go service was quick, and the prices are decent, but I was so looking forward to the actual wrap. Although the won ton soup was super surprising, it has a great flavor, and I liked it. I tried to call them several times, to complain about the missing lettuce, and no one answered the phone. The actual lettuce wrap filling was mushy, and disappointing. There’s definitely better out there, but my expectations were low.

I know that this place isn’t authentic and that its food quality probably isn’t the best. But I personally love Pei Wei. Their tofu is different than other places, the texture is smooth and firm as opposed to to spongey, which I like. It’s affordable, food comes out in a timely manner, and you can order takeout. For firsttimers: It’s a order first, get a number, sit wherever you want, and food will be brought to you kind of place.

This place din’t really live to our expectation. Me and my husband had gone there for a Sunday Dinner. The place was almost empty. The food was just average. The quality of the ingredients they used seemed good but it din’t help much when we taste our food. My hubby ordered the Sriracha Chicken-which was alright and I tried the Veg Lo Mein which was average too. Won’t be going back for sure.
