FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

This doesn’t apply to this fedex location in particular but does apply to fedex in general as a delivery service. One of the WORST horrible customer service experiences I have ever experienced regarding receiving my package. Typical corporate America tossing you around from one customer representative to another. Complete incompetence. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were in a meeting. Really? Not a single manager available to handle customer relations? I would avoid at ALL cost using fedex as a delivery service.

We use this location to print a wide variety of marketing products. The staff took their time to help me customize project. Even offered discounts to help lower overall costs. Willie a returning customer!

On December 9, 2015 I went to FedEx Office at 4902 Washington Avenue, Houston, TX 77 007 to drop off four packages. After removing the packages from my vehicle and placing them on the floor of this FedEx office location I was instructed by the employee, who was busy texting on her phone, that my packages were not satisfactory to FedEx shipping standards. These were the same boxes FedEx dropped off at my friends residence. She advised me that FedEx has boxes for $ 11 a box. They must receive commission on boxes or she didn’t want to serve a customer cause it might interfere with her text conversation. My work has a FedEx account that I did not use for tax reasons and they have picked up packages that were in far worse shape. She also miss calculated my declared value and over charged me $ 5 a package. Needless to say I will not be going back to FedEx office and plan to ship with UPS or USPS from now on.

Worst FedEx I’ve ever been to. Not helpful. Internet is INCREDIBLY slow. Makes me wonder if they slow it down on purpose to charge more money. They don’t have any paper selection or ability to print on your own paper. I wish there was another printing place nearby.

It took me awhile, but I remembered to go out of my way to write this review. I visited this location last Friday before an interview, after I realized that I forgot to print my résumé. I was in a huge rush and irritable with the morning traffic. The guy who was working helped me out with computer troubles and was the nicest about it all. I felt so bad for my attitude, but he really cheered me up and made my experience great

WORST FEDEX LOCATION! Don’t go here!!! The manager, Steve, is VERY rude and doesn’t offer any help to customers in need. My husband is a small business owner and has a lot of mail that requires several thousand dollars of shipments to and from this location and we have vowed to never use this location again. Will travel farther to another location to receive better service. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!

Amazing service, as soon as I walked in the door an employee grabbed my box finished taping it up for me and printed me a receipt, I was in and out within 30 seconds!

Honestly, the worst service. I waited over 30 minutes for a fax that was sent through 30 minutes prior. The employee said «it hasn’t come through» so I called and requested the office send another copy. This time when I went back in to say it had been resent he walked to the back with a ream of paper… interesting! No wonder it wasn’t there the first time. Oh and then the guy disappeared for abt 10 minutes. Ridiculous. Take the extra few minutes to drive to another location. It will be well worth your time.

I have gone to this location for over one year, and I am thrilled with the overall service.
I started going here over a year ago for small errands such as laminating and printing, all of which went well. I don’t print here any longer because my apartment supplies free printing. I then went into a period where I had to mail off important documents and letters to medical schools during the application cycle. I first started at the USPS nearby midtown Houston, and they immediately lost my letter. The very first time I used USPS, and they already lost a very important letter. This specific location did have low ratings but I still took my chances. Perhaps they have been better with other letters but I think I’m happy with using FedEx now. I then used FedEx every single time after that to send important documents, and they have not let me down so far. In fact, most of my envelopes done through express shipping has gotten to their destinations a full day earlier. I have sent thank-​you cards, checks, papers and medical school applications using FedEx, and I fully feel comfortable knowing that my property is in their hands.
I have been helped by a decent number of employees and all of them have been nothing but sweet and helpful to me. Sure, I do agree sometimes the service is a little bit on the slow side but I’m perfectly content with patiently waiting to be helped. There has been some IT problems but nothing that wasn’t corrected immediately. None of the machines ever gave me problems, and I have used the laminating machine and many of the printers. Other people may complain of small parking spaces but the entire strip mall is a small. I never once had a ridiculously difficult time getting parking or getting out. Parking in midtown in general is not a pleasant experience, during the day or when going to bar hop at night. I don’t go here to enjoy the parking. I go here because they have sent off very important items of mine that has reached its destination in a timely manner and thus getting me my interviews and acceptance. Post offices are busy as it is so patience is definitely a virtue. There will be potential traffic or long lines in any business. I have been to several FedEx offices in different cities, and they’re not all that different in my opinion.
I will be continuing to use this FedEx location, and I highly recommend this place. I have applied to many medical schools and am continuing to interview so I understand very well how important it is to send off important documents and/​or packages on time to meet a deadline. However, this is a busy location so one must have patience and flexibility.

There is a lady with a short-​haired wig that looks like a woman, but it’s really a man. You’ve been warned. There is no EEO regulations on trannies, so I’M in the clear.
Sometimes the credit card machines for the computers don’t work and this location doesn’t get IT people in quick enough. The same follows for credit card machines for the fax machine, which is something still used by people with interpersonal communication problems. Sometimes a friction-​free market needs tech support. This location is in clear need of engineering and tech help, in particular. The keys on the fax machine are so run down, that you can still see the bashing of some overweight person’s fingers in panic that rubbed the ink right off the rubber.
The whole complex that the Office is in is so tightly-​packed that cars have difficulty parking and getting out of a spot is always a complete pain. The complex will be torn down in 5 – 10 years once the owner of the real estate to the north «finds» the prices right. Undeveloped and unused land is always unsightly and is evident of a struggling market, just like this run down office, with two tightly-​packed computers, a printer that requires «asking» the employee to fetch your document from behind the desk (talk about ease of access… hmm, what if they are busy and you have to run?). To further break into detail how narrow the building is, when there is a line of 3 – 4 people, there is no longer any room left to be polite and let people in and out of the building, let alone not get hit by the door closing in on you. At that point, you are «left to the mercy» of whatsoever employee happens to be working that day, along with his, her, or it’s attitude problems, which is perfect when you the customer are in a hurry.
Save yourself the trip and do everything online. Like an improved human in the digital age. The real world is crumbling anyway.

fedex has most horrible cu service ever! I sent package to POBox and when it arrived to destination they called and let me know that I need to pay extra $ 12 to change to different address.
Never deal with this company again.

I had to stop in twice today, the first time was to pick up packaging and someone was right there to assist me. When I went back later in the day I was helped right away. But by the time I was done shipping my package there were several customers behind me… I would say timing is everything. The staff seemed friendly both times and I will not be going out of my to visit a location further away just yet.

Just go here if you are desperate and cannot make it to another location. The employees seem really unhappy here. They complain to each other about the rush, the heat and the stupid nonworking printers/​computers in front of customers. Quite unprofessional to me.
Some of them work sluggishly as well… while the customer line goes out the door.
This location is closest to my home and I go here when I have a last minute project to ship (thanks to my demanding job). I dread going here but at least they get your shipment out.
Like I said earlier, just go here if you really need to go here.

I have been here a few times to print wedding invites. Every time I have come in, the service is very meager. No matter who is working. He only time I have had good service is the last time I went in. There was a very helpful gentleman in there who was working by himself covering from another store.
Go to another location. Only reason I went here is proximity.

I think I understand the level of frustration in a lot of these reviews. People not able to get their stuff to print. Machines not working. People needing help with simple jobs. People needing help with huge complex jobs.
I’ll see your frustration and raise you some impatience. Why?
Because I’m the girl standing in line behind you just to pick up a package.
The biggest issue with this place is that it does get a lot of traffic. There is always someone here on line ahead of you. I once came 10 minutes before it opened by mistake – I thought they opened before 10am (!) on Saturday but I was wrong. What did I see? A line.
I do think the employees work pretty tirelessly, and I give them kudos for doing it. They go non-​stop. All. Day. Long. They get 4 stars in my book.

It’s a very small, cramped space that has some things out of place. (Well, they’re in place now thanks to me.)
I had to get many copies made for a presentation and little did I know that the ink from the copier was smearing ink on the sides which is very unprofessional looking. Too bad I saw this AFTER I left the store. The girl employee who was working was having a personal conversation on the company phone on company time. She was quick to put the phone down and restock the paper tray when it ran out of paper and she was very friendly to me, but still…
My copies were taking a long time so I decided to look around and see what was sold in the store. The quick reference guides were all messed up, some signs were misplaced and upside down, a supply order was just chilling with the merchandise, so I decided to organize what I could. (I’m self-​diagnosed slightly OCD and I was incredibly bored while waiting for my copies to finish printing.)
Do yourself a favor and carefully watch yourself and what you’re doing in this store.

Not much of a review to write about this FedEx location. I needed an entire binder copied but they were unable to do it because they had so many other copies to make before they could even think about getting to mine.
Luckily, my boyfriend jumped in and said we could do it ourselves on their machines which would make it cost less as well. Their machines were easy to use and it was a good thing no one was in there to get in our way because we had a lot of copying to do.
We got it done in a timely manner. The employees at FedEx didn’t really help us with anything so I can’t really rate them.

The experience was not good, price is way better than UPS. The staff was understaffed and she seemed mad that I had a question.

This place is small so it lacks a lot of equipment, whatever equipment they do have doesn’t really work well for Macs — and it’s always busy. So it takes longer than usual to get even the simplest thing done … like print, shipping or just buying batteries.
They have two printers and they do take USB. But if it’s a PDF file you’re looking to print that came from a Mac — forget about it. You have to then use one of the only two computers they have to print. So then you’re being charged .25-​cents per minute plus your printing costs. And since these are PCs, they’re slow and not user friendly. It took me almost five minutes to figure out how to print from that dang computer. FedEX — where the hell are the MACs!!!
I prefer the Kinko’s/FedEx off Greenbriar and 59. They don’t have Macs, but they have far more equipment and staff to handle those urgent print needs.

This is the smallest, most unhelpful FedEx Office I’ve ever been to. They only have a few self serve copy machines and only one of them reads a USB key.
The only employee working that day was to busy talking on the phone to help at all… and no, it wasn’t a business related call. I guess they mostly deal with people having cards printed & things binded or laminated. It was probably a better store when they went by the name Kinko’s.
