Foundation Room

Excellent ambiance and décor. Cool place to have a drink. Food is excellent but small portions. I had the beef skewers and they were incredible. Excellent service as well. Not a private club as stated on door. Membership allows a discount on food and drins.

OMG. Definitely will be my go-​to spot in Houston when I am here. This place is remarkable. To be there you need to be a member (i believe) but i came with one, so I was good.
High end, yes, but the food was 5-​star. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and drinks,…something with duck another one that was chicken wraps and little bun sandwiches,…all were amazing.
All the drinks we had were amazing.
The BREAD basket… man that could be a meal on its own especially with the fancy butter and oils. omg.
I got the cookie dessert with the ice cream. Amazing.
our waitress was also amazing. She gave us a tour of the place with the historical element presented,…so interesting the history of the foundation room and the significance of literally every piece of the place. i like meaningful things,…she was incredibly engaging. I adored her! So much so that we went to the dualing piano bars that came at her recommendation afterwards.
So to conclude, this place isn’t cheap, but worth EVERY penny for an awesome nite out. I will be back!

I absolutely love this place! I have been a Foundation Room member for over five years and plan to continue my membership for a long time. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is wonderful. When I attend an event there I feel like I’m amongst close friends and family. The bartenders are good at their craft and very friendly. The hosts and wait staff are sure to attend to your needs and finally I could enjoy the concert schedule I have without the assistance of «my concierge». I say «my» concierge because the personal attention I get makes me feel as she works just for me and not all the other members as well. If you’re looking for a great atmosphere and a place to enjoy good music then I recommend you look into the Foundation Room.
Oh and don’t let me forget, they have amazing dining there as well. The chefs have put together a great menu and the dining room is very private and cozy. It’s definitely worth a try.

Such a cool establishment! Went here for a family friend’s concert and definitely enjoyed it. The venue is decorated unlike any other lounge I’ve been to, and made it feel more exclusive.
Drinks were very good too. A friend «concocted» her own drink — St. Germaine and Elderflower. Try it!

If you have time for a leisurely dinner and have the money, this is another well kept secret. It is not going to be cheap but you get a quiet table, excellent service and great food. Chilean Sea Bass is one of the best! Memorable night out.

This is a pretty cool hidden bar at House of Blues. Josh is best bartender there! My friends and I came here for their Member’s Appreciation Night Beach Party. The watermelon punch was delicious. The atmosphere is pretty nice. There are so many unique details throughout the whole club.

All I can say is that coming here is a magical experience. I was not expecting that at all since I knew this was at the house of blues. We walked in and the smell of incense overtook us.
None of us felt like we were in Houston, I felt instantly transported to India! I would definitely bring out of towners here because it was so unique.
I actually went for vino and vinyasa which was amazing! Wine and then a relaxing yoga class. The room where the yoga was done was very unique and unlike other yoga studios since that isn’t its primary purpose. I had a great time and will definitely be back for more! Plus the bottles of wine are half price for the class.

We came here for HRW dinner but tried other goodies and drinks. Attentive service, friendly staff, great bartenders, and good foods.
The HRW menu is an excellent value for those wanting to try the Foundation Room. The lamb is amazing… tender and melts in your mouth. We never had lamb like this before. Sea Bass is amazing as well. The only two items out of everything that we thought was not good are the yellowtail sashimi (too sweet) and lobster spring rolls (too soggy).
We will definitely be back more often for dinner! And you can walk across the street to Reserve 101 for drinks after!

I’ve been here nearly every time I’ve seen a show at HoB and each time the food is amazing! That’s not the reason I come though. This place has the best service, it’s like having a meal with your friends, except they also make sure your drinks are filled and your experience is impeccable. Definitely ask for Andrea if she’s available. She’s super knowledgeable about the food and wine and a real music lover that you’ll enjoy hanging out with.

We held a business gathering happy hour at the Foundation Room, and every one was so thrilled with the ambiance, service, and food. Our server Stormy was attentive and personable, and Joshua Franklin did a flawless job of putting together and orchestrating the event. We will definitely be returning in the future!!!

Went after a concert and felt in love with the place, something really different from the average clubs.

Went here last night for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The food was excellent, and enjoyed the unique atmosphere. The wait staff were excellent and highly attentive to our needs. They made the evening as pleasant as possible. We look forward to going here again.

So I’ve been a member forever and I can say you won’t find a better, more awesome, phenomenal staff than at this place. Rock, Fred, Austin, America, the whole team is amazing. And the food is off the hook… try all things here!!! Nightlife is great… plus the concerts at HoB… and a hotel within walking distance.

This is a members only club but well worth the cost. Marcus, the bar manager, really looks out for everyone and does a great job. Good music, good drinks, and great crowd. Definitely a good getaway if you are tired of the normal club scene.
