Surprisingly good dining in the middle of the Hyatt lobby. The drinks were good and the shrimp tacos were excellent. My husband had the Houston Club and was very pleased. It is a good quick, comfortable stop.

I ate at Lobbibar with my daughters(8 and 11). The waitress was very accommodating and the food was yummy! The chicken tenders and Caprese veggie flatbread(yum!) got their approval. I ordered the«Texas grilled chicken salad» which was very good and a healthier option. My only complaint would be that the chicken was a little on the dry side– but then again it was not drowned in dressing, so maybe that’s why. I also got the lite margarita and they have quite a few lighter calorie drink options. It was not light on taste or alcohol though-very good. Since I was with my girls, we did not eat in what was considered the«bar» area, but a surrounding table. I noticed that the food came out of the kitchen at Shula’s steakhouse which is next to Lobbibar. Who knows if it is close to what they serve at Shula’s, but they do seem to use the same kitchen. The free cracker medley was also good-don’t fill up on it like I did-save room for the food!

Nice little Bar in the Lobby of the Hyatt Regency in downtowm Houston. Seating is very comfortable. Service is fast, friendly and good. They have some really good cocktails! Can recommend the Mojito! We also got some nuts to snack on for free. They also have a small food menu. I had the Vegetarian flatbread. Was reeaaallly yummy!

Great place to meet with downtown coworkers for happy hour or to host one for your clients. The bar is located on the middle of the Hyatt. The place is small, so try to arrive early. Good appetizers. We had a vendor happy hour there a couple of nights ago, and the appetizer trays had beef skewers, chicken quesadillas, vegetable focaccia pizza, and crab cakes. Delicious. LB does not have draught beers, but has a small selection of bottled beer, including Shiner Bock and Guinness. Wine and liquor are also available. Service is good… they won’t let your drink go dry. LB is a comfortable place and you will forget fairly quickly that you are in a hotel bar.
