I had an amazing night! I can’t thank Alexander our waiter enough for how great he treated us. He is very professional & gave us great info on the club since it was my first time there. The food was delish!!! I will definitely come back! Oh Alexander even gave us great tips on spots to go check out after the show since our group was ready to bar hop. The show was amazing!!! Beautiful & talented ladies! I almost forgot the great pics Alexander was so sweet to take of our group on the stairs & stage! So many of my coworkers here at the hospital are ready to visit y’all soon!

Wow x1000!!! Warning: Ladies, bring your boyfriends/husbands at your own risk. Also, do not bother to go if you are easily offended and not open minded. Show: I’ve heard many great things about the«burlesque show» in the past, but I was totally blown away. It was fun. It was interactive. It was sexy, raunchy, and provocative with tons of vulgar language and T&A(tits and ass). The Moonlight Dolls are total babes and will have you squirming in your seat. I’m a girl and they had me feeling some type of way. Catcalling is encouraged! Pictures and videos are also encouraged so don’t be shy! The show itself ranges from $ 22-$ 60 depending on where you sit. Make sure you book ahead of time so that you get the best seat in the house. The best place to sit in my opinion is on the floor, second row from the stage, table next to the staircase. The tables are packed super tight, and this table was PERFECT. Food: The $ 45 prix fixe meal is mandatory if you’re attending the show. If you’re going all out, you can opt the $ 65 prix fixe meal that includes lobster. I was not impressed with the food, although the braised short ribs were delicious. The mashed potatoes were salty AF though. The lobster bisque tasted like cold cream and nothing of lobster. I should’ve stuck with the salad. For dessert, I tried both the panna cotta and dessert shot. Both a let down. They have an al a carte menu of appetizers. Make sure you order one because the food took FOREVER to come out. Service: Our waiter was a sweet heart. Very attentive and took a couple of minutes to explain the entire menu. My only gripe was that we had to top off our own wine. Water glasses remained full throughout the show so that was appreciated. Overall, a fantastic experience. The show alone is five stars. Food was not so great. I am curious to try the restaurant though. We will be back.

This was my 1st Burlesque experience, and I booked the VIP section upstairs for my Wife’s birthday. The show«the Moonlight Dolls» was entertaining, the food was good, the drinks were great, and the hosts(Alex and Asian Chris) were excellent. Everybody had a blast, and my wife is already asking when we’re going again.

Went to the burlesque show with a few girlfriends for my birthday and it was so fun! The brunch food was delicious, the show was awesome, and we had a great time! We will definitely be back! If you get these options for food I would definitely try the shrimp, the cauliflower and the steak!

A wonderful girls night out! The food was a bit expensive but absolutely worth it and the burlesque show was fantastic.

Show: This was my first burlesque experience and I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was a lot of fun and those ladies are very talented. It’s a tight squeeze, but even what seem like bad spots have good views. The emcee was super friendly. Definitely spent a good 30 mins after the show taking a selfie. Dinner: Dinner was good. I want those mashed potatoes for life. The vegetarian option was kind of lame for the price. And the dessert was not good… Glad I opted for the shot. Bar: Friendly mixologists who take the craft seriously. Enjoyed shots out of espresso type cups.

I was tasked with organizing and planning a bachelorette dinner/party extravaganza and the bride-to-be expressed an interest in Prohibition. So I did my thing, researched a bit, emailed back and forth, etc. First things first, avoid booking through the large group packages if possible(say if your party consists of a factor of four)! The large groups seating area is located in the mezzanine, farther away from the stage, and may actually result in an up-charge depending on how many people are in your group. Additionally, the view from some of the seats in the large group area is somewhat obstructed by beams, banisters, etc. I don’t really get the point of this large group booking area as your group will be split into fours anyway and you’re not allowed to move the seats. Also, they can only split the check evenly into a maximum of eight ways(best to bring cash) so I feel this party package thing isn’t really an accommodation sort of thing for guests, but more so to simplify coordinating for Prohibition itself. Service was decent and reliable but we weren’t specifically doting on with the exception of the champagne toast Prohibition provided us for the occasion. I may have been somewhat incensed upon noticing there were a couple of large groups seated on the floor, right by the stage when I was informed that it was mandatory for large groups to book through a party package. Communication with my contact there was otherwise very cordial and responsiveness, which made this whole planning a bachelorette party thing a little less stressful than I was anticipating. Dinner is required for a show ticket and you must arrive before the show begins(although they do allow a thirty minute grace period if you inquire). I will say I appreciated Prohibition’s willingness to accommodate dietary restrictions although I have to admit, the vegan options were extremely underwhelming. In that the spaghetti and marinara were pretty devoid of any flavor. I think everyone else thought the food was«okay,» but nothing spectacular. I’m sure most of us were there for the entertainment anyway. I had only been to one previous burlesque show, which was far more intimate and, well basic. This one was a hell of a lot more lively and spectacular — with aerial stunts, fire-breathing, live singing, and audience interaction. The show itself is absolutely worth checking out. There’s nothing else like it in Houston as far as I know.

Very chic and swanky décor but it kind of feels cramped. We come here often on Mondays to enjoy the 50 cent oysters all night. The menu has changed a few times since opening, which is kind of annoying. They took away my favorite oyster preparation, the Singapore sling, and replaced it with a garlic and cheese type that I find oily and bland. We still come back because raw oysters will do and the bar tenders are very personable and provide great service.

I had no idea there’s shows going on in the back. The food and drink going on in the front are reason enough to come here. I started off with an old fashioned made with whiskey aged on site and it was the perfect cocktail. It’s an off-menu thing, so if they have it, get it. The charcuterie plate was a nice start to the meal and my steak was perfect. My wife had a fish sandwich that she raved about. This makes for a very fun date night. I may never talk my wife into seeing one of the burlesque shows here, but the food and drink are reasons enough to come visit.

It was awesome!!! Totally worth a see. I would go again and again. They even have different types of shows. I also messaged the owner with a question and I was responded immediately. It was 7 in the morning.

This was a special occasion to make my trip out to Downtown Houston, I had a group of five people(including myself) that I was celebrating with that evening. This is a place I had heard about but never gotten the opportunity to visit up until this past Saturday night. I was very pleased with the experience we had. I honestly didn’t know what to expect going in because I had never been to a place quite like this one, but I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Atmosphere: The place gives off a very pleasant vibe, as soon as you walk in the first thing you notice is the fancy interior design. While I wouldn’t say the front part is quite«Prohibition» style, the way the layout is for their Burlesque shows further back hits the note right on the mark. They have a theme and they stick right with it, the attire for this place is definitely dressy, you don’t want to dress any other way unless you want strange looks around you. Drinks: Fantastic drinks, they go the extra mile with their cocktails. The bartenders there know the ins and outs of all their drinks and can make them specific to your needs as well. Even the ingredients they use are of high quality, whether it be fresh fruits or a specific liquor they will be sure to make the perfect drink for you every time(especially since almost every drink they made me was jiggered and served with some flair). Food: The food was fantastic to match along with the show(which I will address in the next segment), I ordered the Braised Pork with Carrots and Mashed Potatoes. The meat was tender and flavorful, every bite paired with the creamy mashed potatoes was excellent. I didn’t expect the food to be as good a quality as the drinks but was pleasantly surprised when blew away my expectations. The Show: While I have never been to a show like this before, me and my friends had a fun time with it. I don’t necessarily know how to describe the show through words, but what I can say is that it did fit the overall theme of the place. This is worth seeing at least once if you do come through here. Conclusion: Above all else, I was hoping my friends had a great time. Sure enough that seemed to be the case. I don’t know about coming to Prohibition on a regular basis, but this fits«special occasions» to the letter. I highly recommend this venue, it’s worth the trip and the good times that are sure to be had indeed.

I really enjoyed their show! Cute outfits, you can dress up and arrive like early 1900s style too. I really felt like I was in their era and the workers are too cute, Every looked and dressed the part. The slow cooked short ribs w/lobster on top were delicious, I wanted more! Dessert is tiny… That’s all I gotta say. Once you park and enter in, you see a bar, but the hostess takes you back to a hidden theatre room behind the bar, such elegant stairway, and beautifully furnished. Very speak easy vibe.

I’ve been 2, maybe 3 times. During the week in the evening. SO no dancing in the back for me… The wine & bourbon list is legit. The bar tenders have always treated me very well. The wait staff however have been terrible every time. I felt like I bothered them by walking through the front door & sitting at a table for drinks. I’ve been told«go get your drinks at the bar». Bizarre. Now, to the positive side of service. After almost walking out, I ended up landing a very good server(he could have been a manager or shift lead?). After talking about the history of the bar, he ended up giving my party a tour of the showroom in the back. Told us about the history of the building. Turned a near terrible experience into a positive one. Thats what this place is. A conundrum. I keep wanting this place to treat me better, yet I don’t have a terrible time when I go. I am conflicted.

I can’t compare this to the previous location near the Galleria because I’m not a Houston resident, but what I do know is that the property manager at that location fucked up. Not sure how you could let this place slip through your fingers over a raised rent dispute. Oh well, they’re making a new property manager happy, that’s for sure. And I seriously doubt the Galleria locale was on this level of thrownback swank. Seriously. I’ve been in a lot of «prohibition-style» bars, and this one takes the cake. It truly has the feel of a place that is 80-something year old. The décor was impressive. And when they open up the basement level, it’s going to be even more so. The drink menu was equally impressive. Lots of unique concoctions. Of course, you could get whatever libation gets your goat, but I love to sample what the bars come up with for their signature drinks. I went with the Irish Martinez, and was absolutely thrilled. The old fashioned is sort of my go-to cocktail, and this was a lighter, more crisp version of one. For round two, I ordered the Armistice and subbed the green chartreuse for yellow. Not bad, but the intended version with green was slightly better. The drink is named after the Armisitce of 1918 and includes ingredients from the allied countries. My advice to you, hit up the place outside of a Friday or Saturday night, belly up to the bar and have Omar tell you some stories. Dude is hilarious!

Overall the idea of this place is pretty fun, the girls were funny, got down to nothing and wore pasties over their nipples which was cool. I will say though it’s really not My idea of a fun night. I guess I can start with the food you had a choice between land which was short rib or sea which was fish. I went with the land and it was not short rib it was pot roast. Now the pot roast was delicious and I have no complaints about it’s taste but $ 45 for pot roast? Come on now. On to the girls, I know they rotate girls and rotate shows and I have no problem with their performance, the issues that I did not really care to look at them. I don’t enjoy looking at skinny women where I can see their rib cage. I didn’t expect to see thick girls with booties that I like but I did not expect to see anorexic looking women. I am sure some people like that and that’s fine with me but just not what I enjoy. I might go back I might not I don’t really know we will have to see.

Truly an EXPERIENCE and great for a group of friends, for a bachelorette or birthday party, or just a night out with your partner to experience something sexy and different! Dress attire I would say is cocktail attire. When I came here there was a burlesque show event with«The Moonlight Dolls» which also included dinner. You had to buy tickets in advance and prices were based on the seats and tables, just like at a concert. We ended up getting front row seats by the stage which turned out to be a little awkward, but still fun. I would recommend getting seats on the floor level, but maybe the second row of tables away from the stage. FOOD(5*s): First, let me say that our server was very knowledgeable about gluten-free needs and basically everything that was being served was gluten-free. There was a 3-course dinner which was excellent and you could choose between two options for each. I chose the Cesar salad(no croutons so it would be GF), the braised beef(SO tender and hot!) with vegetables and mashed potatoes, and then for dessert I was offered a chocolate molten cake which was so decadent and delicious. They are famous for their fancy cocktails, but I didn’t end up getting one – next time! SERVICE(5*s): Besides the fact that our server greeted us immediately, she was able to check on us multiple times without interrupting our dinner/show experience. She was polite and very friendly and I felt well taken care of. SHOW(5*s): WOW! Such a great show! There were about 8 female dancers, and a 2 male dancers and all were very talented and entertaining. Typical burlesque dancing which is provocative, but tasteful. The women are sexy and have great voices, and some do air acrobatic routines which was so impressive! The show lasts about an hour and a half leaving you with a half an hour to finish your meal or relax before you have to leave so they can start another show. Overall, I would definitely be back again to experience The Moonlight Dolls routine again or see another act as well as enjoy the amazing food and drinks!

I loved this place. Is was real cute. We decided to go to the show. Y’all say burlesque, I say classy stripping with entertainers that actually have talent. Either way, I had a great time. Okay so it’s recommend that you buy your tickets to the show ahead of time and you can pick your seats online. We were sitting at a table with another couple that had just walked in and purchased tickets at the door. I wasn’t expecting to sit at the table with strangers, but it wasn’t bad at all; actually it was cool. So just have your mind set to sit with other people if you’re at a table that seats more than the amount of people in your party. The show was amazing. And the food wasn’t bad, but not great. It’s 45 bucks and you get a salad or soup, entrée, and a desert. It’s downtown so you can either search for street parking, or pay $ 10 in the lot across the street. So have cash for that. Check the website for show times. The show isn’t every night and I hear they’re different depending on the night. I would definitely return. Not so much for the food, but the show was great!
