I’ve been eating at Freebirds since I was a kid from college station to austin. This location just didn’t hit the mark when it came to the freebird standards I’m used to. Food-in my nachos the cilantro rice was mushy and over cooked, the steak was chewy and tough; the quesadilla was just bad, cold chicken and rubbery cheese and tortilla. Service– they were quick, but rushed you and we’re impatient when I realized that the queso was only by the meat. I was asked multiple times is that all before we were even through the veggies. I hope they get it together before they tarnish the name of a good brand.

A great find! While busy, the line moved quickly and customer service was good. Loved their rice bowl option. My friends had their Hybird(large) burritos. Portions are large and the food is fresh and delicious.

Freebirds is like the subway of burritos only 100 times better. Don’t even mention the McDonald’s wanna be Chipotle. I have loved freebirds for over a decade, since being on campus in Austin. This one is very clean and the staff is friendly.

The last time I had freebirds was over 8 years ago in College Station. My biggest complaint was that the chicken in my burrito was really burnt. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Was it not for the burnt chicken, my burrito would have been perfect. It wasn’t that busy when I got there but it still took a little while to get my food. Everyone there was really friendly.

I love this location because I’ve never seen it super busy and the staff is very friendly. We usually order online and pick it up and only once did they not have it ready. I would give 5 stars but they left the cheese and sauce off of my salad last time. Also wish sour cream didn’t cost $ 1 to add. Good stuff, get a card so you can earn points and get free food!

I love Freebirds and haven’t had it in a couple of weeks so decided to stop by this location. Overall, my experience was ok. The service was slow, and the food tasted totally different(not in a good way). Employees including the female manager seemed indifferent and disengaged with the business. It’ll probably be another couple of weeks before I come back in.

Officially converted! Chipotle who? JP and Malorie were simply THEBEST! If I could give them more stars, I would. My entire experience from the moment I walked in was perfect. JP made me feel like family even though I told him I’d never been to a Freebirds before. He had me smiling and just happy that I decided to try something new. Although I’m extremely indecisive, Malorie was super patient and built my beautiful meal as if it were her own. Her personality and customer service was awesome.(Side note: Mind blown by the bacon, must try). I love spice and options. Freebirds blew Chipotle out the water on both. If ever in the area of a Freebirds(but especially this one) drop in.

Just ok. Two tablespoons of guacamole is 1.75 I told them to keep it. They also charge for sour cream. You might as well go to Chipotle. Mediocre at best. I got the nachos maybe you get more on a burrito but I took it to go. Not horrible buy not good or great.

I’m an usual. I go here all the time, always a great service. They have a great staff. The food is a killer, really good burritos and the meats are well cook and have a great flavor. It’s a good place, better than chipotle.

It’s been a lot better. Getting through line was fine but workers here chatting, eating and didn’t ask for my freebies card. Asked for the points to be put on after she rang up meal before I could get card out and she told me that I would have to bring receipt in and do it next time. Also she wasn’t an employee. Looks like someone’s kid they let run the register. Horrible customer service. They’ve been so much better and today was a true failure. They are rushing and not delivering the service they are capable of.

Amazing food, even better customer service. Alot more options then similar establishments. Wasn’t very busy when we came in and it was very fast. There is no military discount. :(

I am a fan of Freebirds and have been since my college days in 1996. This location is consistently bad. Small portions, lack of flavor and seasoning. Very disappointing. Go to the Bunker Hill location instead.

Worst freebirds I’ve ever visited. Stood in line while a guy just talked to another employee. Then when he makes my «freebird» size but he’s really slow and it comes out the size of a hybrid. He looked unsure of what he was doing. When I mention to the cashier she says«yeah, it looks like a hybrid.» I respond«This small thing isn’t a seven dollar burrito.» Her response is I don’t make the prices. It told her«but you make the burritos» which was the problem. She didn’t say anything and handed me the receipt. I remember when the first freebirds came to Texas in College Station. I guess all these expansions slowly loose the pride of the name.

After heading to Freebirds during a trip to Houston I was really unimpressed. This was my first time in a freebirds and I told that to the employee when I walked in. She was extremely friendly and helpful and walked me through the entire process and all of the different choices. I ordered the steak burrito combo with chips and queso. The queso and chips were absolutely delicious I actually ended up eating all of them as my main meal. The burrito on the other hand was quite disgusting. I don’t know what it is to be honest but it was just not good. I could barely eat ¼ of it before I gave up and threw it out. I’d rather stick with Chipotle for some fast tex mix and I’m sure there’s gotta be better places in Houston as well.

This is my goto place when I need some carbs and protein and thankfully so bc its close to home. I order the Hybrid(sized) burrito, they have a few diff options of tortillas that you can choose from. The meat options incluse: white meat/dark meat chicken, pork, steak, ground beef or veggie. They have a very extensive topping bar. Everything is pretty fresh. They also offer salads and salad bowls! Ive tried the salad and Its just as good. In addition, they have tacos, nachos, quesedillas and dessert.(havent tried) The service here is usually pretty speedy, you can be in and out within a few min after placing your order. This location also has a patio outside which is nice. Price is pretty fair. around $ 9 for one person including tax.

I personally like them more than Chipotle as far as flavor goes. I like both the spinach and cayenne tortillas. I also like their roasted peppers and onions. Their sauces are nummy too. Their brownies are pretty tasty too. They have a nice selection for the veggies out there. I haven’t had problems with their service, but I tend to eat at off times, so maybe I have just been lucky?

The food here is average/okay(a decent value for the money), and I found the queso to be delicious, but the service I received was astonishingly horrible. There was a sign in the store at the front of the line that said you’d get a free kids’ meal with the purchase of an adult meal. I was careful to read the fine print, and there were no restrictions. So, I go through the line, ordered 3 adult meals, and 1 kids’ meal. When I get to the register to pay, they refuse to give me the kids’ meal for free. So, the manager gets called over. He tells me the kids’ meal is free for dine-in only and a child 12 or under must be present. I show him the sign that doesn’t have ANY of those stipulations on it. I’m shocked when he actually throws the sign down on the floor at my feet and says that sign was supposed to be removed. He refuses to give me the free kids’ meal according to the promotional sign, and it actually gets thrown away. That’s right — instead of simply honoring a promotional sign they put up in the store by giving me the meal they already made, they’d rather throw it out right in front of me! NEVER going to a Freebirds again if this is how the MANAGER behaves.
