It was my first time trying this place out. They were able to make me something I would enjoy. Customer service was outstanding! Food was amazing. Will be coming back guaranteed.

Awesome food and great service. The manager, Jedrek, is very nice and so is the rest of the staff. The restaurant are always always clean. The location is perfect for me, and I go here once a week. I don’t understand how it’s raked 4 starts. Everything is up to par and 5 stars in my book. Try it once and I promise you, you’ll go back.

Great service and food. Really personable staff, who gave awesome suggestions for my first time here. Will definitely be back for more! This is my new lunch spot.

It’s good. Actually a really big wrap. I got the beef and lamb with everything on it… No chips or fries and it was $ 8.73 I think but it really filled me up I couldn’t even finish it. The hottest sauce is actually pretty spicy so beware. Last thing is all the veggies were really fresh!

My favorite place to go to whenever I needed a place to go to eat at UT Austin, and this location did not disappoint either. Most places as they expand from their starting city, they usually lose quality, but not Verts. This place is just as great as the one in Austin!

Awesome place! Great service and food is fantastic. I got the beef and lamb kebap. The spicy red sauce is good to dip fries in. Definitely coming back here!

I was a bit apprehensive because I haven’t heard a peep about this place. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and flavorful. Kind of reminds me of a Mediterranean version of Chipotle. I tried the Kebap with beef & lamb along with a ton of fixings. I must say, I will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a change from the typical sandwich/​burger/​pizza place, give it a try.

This verts/​trash restaurant has a lot to improve, starting with their main man– manager. He is ignorant, and rude. I do not recommend this place to anybody, especially… ESPECIALLY those females. MANAGER IS A DOG!!! Disgusting. Sad thing is– I love vertskebap. First time at westheimer and they call it this side of town for a reason… NEVER AGAIN.

Excellent customer service. Everyone was very helpful and polite. Will definitely be coming back. Food was great!

This is the worst location anybody could go to. the crew is wonderful but the General manager is so rude! He came screaming at the store next door leaving the store unattended! He was screaming at a 17 year old to move out of a parking spot outside trying to fight! I felt like my safety was on the line! Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a good time to eat, not professional he scared a few customers away from both stores! The food was horrible too!

This place was amazing. Having lived in Germany for several years, this brought me back. From the crispiness of the bread, to the taste of the sauces, just wow. The staff was amazing, very friendly and super helpful. The French fries even tasted like the ones I remember at the kebap stands in Germany. 10stars!!! My new favorite place.

Second visit! Love the original kebap, beef & lamb with house dressing. Their team members are very pleasant. I also ordered a small falafel as side. I was hungry and I chomped down the kebap and falafel like nobody’s biz, lol. Also ordered a karbach hopadillo. They must have issues with the keg and CO2 mix again. Took the poor guy a while to pour that pint. They really need to check the beer lines. Probably time to have the vendor to clean the line or check the valves.
Like I said, I was hungry, I ate, drank some beer. Happy tummy!

I probably wont go back here. I had the lamb kebap, falafels, fries w/​hot sauce, and a blue soda. The best thing was the falafels. Lots of flavor and a nice crunch. Not much lamb in the kebap, I had to dig through the salad to reach the lamb. The fries were fries. The blue soda, meh, I wouldn’t pay $ 2.50 for it again. The hot sauce was not hot. Seems this is more of a salad kind of place. They sure like to load up the meals with veggies. The food was good, healthy and the staff is nice so I cant knock them. They are better than subway but I would prefer Fadi’s or Phoenicia for a Mediterranean fix.

(Lamb/​beef kebap)… Loving the taste, feta is delish with, meat very moist and savory. And, let me tell ya. I am FULL! And, also to include Dala she was quite informative, keep up the good work. Def will come back !!

Strange name I know! But these kebaps are great. It has replaced my Chipotle craving. It is set up a lot like Chipotle, so you basically put what to want on it. You can choose from the Regular or snack sized kebaps. They also offer the salad and wrap ways if you swing that way! Then you choose you meat or veggie patty, for those amazing vegans out there, I applaud you, as I don’t know how y’all do it! It’s hard for me. Anyhow, then you choose your veggies to go on top along with the yogurt sauces. I love, love the garlic sauce. So great! They have fries and chips, but the fires are cooked to order, so they are very good and fresh!

I’ve always passed by this place and keep hearing about it on 104 KRBE. So I thought why not?!?
I’m so glad we stopped by the food is SO good and I love the taste of the chicken super fresh.
AND to top it off, the customer service is on point! Super friendly and helpful.

The service was very good; however, the meat wasn’t very good at all. It was dry, fatty (I’ve never heard of meat like this being fatty…) and was almost without any kind of flavor. And it was $ 12.50 for the meal: I’m absolutely OK with paying this, even if it’s counter service, but I didn’t get my money’s worth AT ALL.
I really, REALLY wanted to like this: I’m all about trying to eat a little more thoughtfully, but this wasn’t very good at all. I’m only giving three stars because the service was so good…

I didn’t even realize that this location has opened! Yay! Because now I can enjoy some Kebap goodness without having to drive to far to a different Verts location.
Well, it’s a chain restaurant so the quality of the food is pretty consistent. Just like any other Verts location, they actually weigh your meat so you get exactly the same amount of meat every time.
This particular location was pretty empty when I was there. Other than me, there was only one other couple dining in. So service was super fast. And while I was dining in, there were only a couple other customers who stopped by and ordered to go. Maybe it’s because Verts is not yet popular here in Houston? Or maybe it’s because the sign outside doesn’t have any lighting on it so it’s kind of hard to see when you’re driving. I actually drove past it while I was looking for the restaurant. No, I didn’t use navigation. I knew it was on Westheimer between Wilcrest and S. Kirkwood so I just drove and looked.
Like I said, the restaurant is fairly new so everything is super clean. They have a big dining area with plenty of tables and a few of the bigger tables that could seat 8 or so.
And unlike the Verts location on Yale, the Royal Oaks location has outdoors seating.
Anyway, great food, good service, and close to where I live. I’ll be back for sure. Plenty of times.
