DO NOT RENT A UHAUL FROM THIS CORRUPT PLACE.
I reserved on UHaul online and my first choice place didn’t have one available so UHaul assigned my reservation to Galaxy.
I went to pick up and tire was flat and waited for it be filled. No big deal. It was when we returned it that the problems started. We had only gone 15 miles to move a large piece of furniture locally. Then I noticed my card was charged for 80 miles! I called and they said «it’s a mistake and we will credit you 42 $.» Ok, no problem. Waited a couple days and no credit. Called again and got same story. 6 calls later and no help.
I tried to get a resolution with UHaul corporate and they opened a claim and I was to get resolution with 2 days. They never called back. When I called again, they said the location «checked the mileage» and it was correct. I only had the truck for 1 hour, so it’s very clear that I didn’t travel 80 miles.
I should have checked on Unilocal first and I would have seen all the bad reviews that were already posted and avoided this scam.

Awful, just awful. Had a u-​haul trailer reserved. NO TRAILER when I came to pick it up. No apology, just a «that one was stolen months ago» and no offer to help me find something else. Btw, a call to U-​Haul resulted in my being told that this was not a «guaranteed pickup» location, only my preferred pickup. Of course, they don’t know why I wasn’t given an alternate location.. No joy from them either. I WILL NEVER use this rip-​off for anything again and I won’t be using U Haul either. Instead of $ 70 for a trailer, I had to rent a truck for $ 400 elsewhere.

Mixed review here. I had no intention of paying Jaguar $ 3000 for a new dash plus labor. Galaxy is in the neighborhood and was recommended by a body shop. If they had done the job right the first time, this would be a star higher. They kept my car a week, even though we agreed on 48 hours. Turns out they never ordered the leather. Calling, sometimes a lady answers who is no help whatsoever. She just runs to get the owner every time. Finally my girlfriend picked up the car late Friday night. It was Monday by the time I got back into town and I was appalled. The dash looked like someone had ripped it off of a 70’s Volvo. Material was completely different from the rest of the car and looked like shit. It had so much padding the stitching seams were blowing out. I took it back and they did the job correctly a week later with the right leather. A true Jag enthusiast would pick out the replaced dash with ease as the craftsmanship isn’t as good, but the casual observer cannot tell the difference. They still used too much padding, but the total cost? $ 900. We’ll see how it lasts this summer.

DO NOT, for any reason, rent a U-​Haul from this ridiculous place. Galaxy acts as a dealer with U-​Haul and has a few moving trucks that they rent out. So many things went wrong with our transaction that I am pretty much speechless/​livid:
1) They gave us the wrong truck on arrival
2) Since they gave us the wrong truck, they somehow screwed up our contract which was a one way move from Houston to Austin
3) They REVISED the contract AFTER we picked up the truck and made it so that we had to return it to Galaxy, not the U-​Haul in Austin per our original contract. How does that make sense when we are moving to Austin? KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL CONTRACT because they can screw you later.
4) Thankfully, the U-​Haul location in Austin was willing to let us «return» the truck while the Houston dealer fixed the contract on their end.
5) After two phone calls with the Galaxy owner who promised to fix this fiasco, nothing was fixed and we kept getting calls from the U-​Haul customer service that the moving truck we rented was not returned.
I like and support family owned businesses that are run with care and honesty. This place does not fit the bill — they are careless, sloppy, have no regards for customer’s time, and just a complete waste of time. If you go to the U-​Haul website, only click on «U-​Haul locations only» because if not, you will be referred to dealers such as Galaxy Auto Trim that will give you days of headache and annoyance. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

What a joke! Took a motorcycle seat in to get redone on a Wednesday. The dude gave me a price and told me it would be ready following Tuesday. I didn’t hear from them so I went back the next Wednesday and they had not even touched it. Seat was sitting on refrigerator. I asked the guy what happened and he just chuckled at me and went back to playing candy crush on his phone. I always try to use local Heights companies to sub contract the work I have as a motorcycle builder but it’s getting very hard to find good places in the Heights. Don’t go to this place for anything!

I recently took my Outback in to get my passenger seat repaired — I spilled something on it that reacted with the material, doing some damage. I had used them before, so was a repeat customer. The first person to help me didn’t know about the material of my seat, so he went & got the owner. No problem I’m told, drop it off in the morning & we’ll fix it. They would not shuttle me home from 20^th to 16^th. I had to arrange a ride there & back, so it took me a couple days to return.
When I picked up my car, I paid before looking at the work. I assumed since I was a repeat client, things would be done correctly. I look at the seat & they didn’t even use the same material! Why would you not use the exact material?
The man in charge tells me, we’ll fix it, no problem. We’ll order the material, from Subaru & let you know when it’s in. I get in my car, turn on the ignition & a light on my dash is on, that wasn’t there before, I had to look it up, Passenger airbag warning — back in I go, The seat was put back together incorrectly. We’ll fix that too, no problem. I drove around for several days with the passenger bag compromised. It had been closing time, I talked to the owner the next day & was assured things would be corrected.
When the material is finally in, we make an appointment. I get there as planned, neither of them are there, I wait 30 minutes, Ernest finally shows up. As I’m driving myself home to be dropped off, graciously shuttled me the 2^nd time, I asked him why he would use the wrong material to begin with & gave me another lame excuse. I was very unhappy, words were exchanged & I ended up back at my shop, without dropping the car off. I called the owner again & was assured all would be fixed correctly.. Later that day, Ernest shows up with a rented truck for me to use so they can take care of my car.
When I pick up my car the next day, everything appeared to be acceptable, the airbag light is off. It doesn’t look as it originally did, but decided I could live with it. I asked for a receipt for the work done on the airbag & had to stand my ground until I rec’d that important information for my records.
As the weeks have passed, the material has continued to loosen, as if the seams weren’t done properly. Today while driving, I notice the finish on the seat is fading, the material is very loose & bulging up in a few areas. A terrible job!
The entire experience & the work they did was very, very poor. I would not recommend them for any kind of work. I am quite disappointed & will look for a reputable company to repair the crappy work done by them. I had hoped they would fix their mistake but will not give them a 3^rd chance. If at some point I feel the need to get it fixed, I will find a company with better customer service, knows how to match the material & can sew a proper seam …

Excellent service and great results. They finished repairing the front seat of my 2003 Explorer in a few hours. They matched the factory interior perfectly.

Same again, excellent service, perfect match for the Jaguar headliner and finished in the same day without changing the radio stations. Did I mention the price? Under $ 400 and that is with all the handles, buttons and sunroof to make everything complicated.
