Okay so I already had a costume in mind when I went to the store(I saw it online) but decided to check it out first. Before going to galaxy I tried other stores and couldn’t find the same one I saw online. Went there with my 1 year baby… at the door they provided me a shopping cart I felt welcomed! The nice lady asked if I needed any help and she guided me to the certain costume aisle that I wanted! And I found the exactly one that I wanted! Te store really as a great costume selection along with make up and accessories!!! At the check out they were so friendly! they took my cart at the end to put it back(to avoid me doing the work: holding baby and bags + cart) and those little things I really value as a costumer! At the end My costume was $ 12.00 dollars more then the competitor online, but just because I felt welcome there(even thought I had a baby that sometimes can cry or give a tantrum) they still treated me as a welcomed costumer and provided me a very good, and warming costumer service and for that reason I did bought from them! Five stars!!! Good job guys.

I really do like this place. I often times pass them up knowing that for special occasions they will be open, but never took the time to check them out. Would you know it, the one time that I have a chance to stop by, I have 2% battery on my phone. That means two things with the first being that I am addicted to Unilocal in all capacities. The second thing being that I could not take pictures for myself… which drove my soul crazy! This store is conveniently located off the I-10 and Mason exit, right passed the huge Toyota lot. Kind of a hard place to miss because there is an observatory telescope coming out of the top of the building, and then«Galaxy Fireworks» is written across the side of the building. There is plenty of parking around the place. Once inside, you will notice an assembly line approach to everything. You have checkout counters as you walk in, and then you notice all the fireworks around the place. All employees are behind waist high chain link fences, and the fireworks, with pricing, are behind them. Come to find out these are volunteer students from Morton Ranch schools. They all look like high school students, and presumably they are, but I love all the Morton Ranch levels, so it does not matter to me! Go Mavs! I digress… seriously I do. They say that the purchasing of fireworks from them goes towards funding for them for various projects for the school. I spoke with several band members, and being a New Orleans native, you know I love my music. Very respectful group of kids, and adults, that occupy the building. I then found out that the reason everyone is given a basket when they first walk through the door is because it is against state law for them to hand you fireworks. It is legal for them to place fireworks in your basket, but they cannot place them in your hand! This is very interesting and strange at the same time to me, but not even a minor inconvenience to bother yourself about. The fireworks range from under $ 1 to over $ 500 dollars for some box sets. Needless to say that I did not bother even messing with any of those pricey box sets. One thing that I thought was smart is that they had televisions mounted up high with a DVD showing mostly all of the different fireworks they were selling. This allows the buyer to know exactly what they should expect to see when they light them up at home. All in all, this is a very enjoyable experience for a good cause and good school. There are plenty of other fireworks stands around Katy, but knowing that this goes towards helping out Morton Ranch, I definitely will give them my money. Keep in mind that they are only open a couple of times a year. A couple of weeks before New Years, 4th of July, and some other times I think. Nothing says family bonding like handing your children explosives!
