I wish I hadn’t walked in. There was no attendant at the front and my friend and I had to return to the front to select a bowl. When I walked to the beginning of the line to select a meat for my meal the smell of raw chitterlings punched my nose like a freight train would a small car stuck in the tracks. Some pork product went bad. My friend was disgusted by the raw meat on the tongs and counter and she didn’t even want to pick up the tongs to select a meat. It just looked very unclean. This was my first experience at Genghis Grill and I am VERY disappointed.

Me and my hubby always come here, All of our visits where very pleasant until now. Just the fact that there was slimey/​water/​jelly substance all over the buffet area disgusted Me. Nobody cleaned it or nothing. There was employees standing around chit chatting and that disgusting stuff was all over the way, It was really bad no lie. But nice customer service.

Except for a little lousy service this place is awesome. The best part is you pick what you want in your bowl. Too bad if you don’t know what your doing.
Suggestion: Get one of their suggested recipes and tweet them to your liking!

I’ve been at this place a few times and I like the concept. I like the idea of making your own bowl with all the different choices from the protein, veggies, and sauces. The staff is friendly and prices are very reasonable.

We used to love this place for a family meal. But now the music is way too loud. We tested the ambient noise at about 100dB.
That’s the level of sitting next to a lawn mower through lunch.
We asked 3 times to lower the radio, each time was told they would do it. Never did. 2-​stars for the food.

Wife and I left Boudreaux because of the bad odor and went here. Sitting at the table and Nats are flying all over the place. Talked the the wait staff and they said it’s because of summer. Manger came by just to say she came by and didn’t seem to care. I didn’t notice it but wife said they were around the food area also.

The only negative thing about this place, is that you basically season your own food. So if you create a bowl that sucks, your meal is going to not taste good. However, they let you try the sauce they have for you to pick. That way you know the flavor. All the times I have came here my bowl came out great. The have been adding more variations of meat and vegetables so we have more options. They keep the bar with food clean and neat. What they could improve on is customer service. They kind of just sent me to my table and left me there. If it was my first time I would be kind of lost.

Meh. This place used to be good when it first opened and now it just taste below average. I only came here because I had a free birthday bowl. I’d much rather go to Kublai Khan if I was craving something like this.

Yumm! I love genghis grill! So many options and everything is always delicious! The hostess was really sweet and so was our waiter. He tried explaining the new tablet menus on the tables, which we thought was AWESOME! The raspberry lemonade is so delicious… Genghis grill is just awesome!

When did this place get so trashy? The table was filthy, the menu was falling apart, the restaurant in general just seemed dirty. After waiting for several minutes and not seeing a waiter, we left. Very disappointing and I don’t plan on coming back.

The service was great and the food was delish. The setup was a little different from the one where I live, but once I found the entrance it was all good. Got an extra bonus by being a club member, both our bowls were free from points earned and my b-​day bowl, SCORE!

First of all I gave them 2 stars because of the good customer service only from the waiters.
Now the reason I did not rate them high is because:
1. They did not have any Spinach left displayed out in the front, so we asked whoever was closest to refill it. They were all chit chatting/​laughing not doing their work. What’s sad is I’m pretty sure one of them was the manager. (Wearing dressier clothes.)
The manager was the closest to us so we asked him to refill, and he just nodded his head like he was bothered…
A few min later he comes out saying «there is no more spinach». He did NOT even say sorry which made matters worse.
2. There was flies all around the raw meat section. & yes some flies were resting on the meats.
3. All you can hear is the chefs & some employees just laughing and talking very loud and obnoxious to the point you can’t enjoy your food.
I will be coming back later throughout the year to update my review. Hopefully they step up their game.

Besides having flies all in the raw meat section and even more flies along the bar where I was eating Genghis Grill usually does the job if I want to try and eat healthy and compared to the other Mongolian stir fry places out there they are usually the better out of them.
Just fix the fly problem…

This place is truly what you make of it. There are tons of choices and if you are not disciplined you food could be a mess. I felt like a child standing in front of a 7 – 11 soda fountain with an empty Big Gulp cup in my hand for the first time. I wanted to put some of everything in my bowl! I wanted to pile up shrimp and meat and fish and crab and scallops! Luckily I had a little disciplined and my food came out looking like there was some forethought put into the end product.
Initially there is a choice between a small, medium and large bowl. When the cooked dishes came out the medium and the large looked to be the same size. I do not believe it was worth the price difference to get the large.
This was a nice change of pace for lunch. The dumplings were good and the service was friendly. I would definitely go back for lunch.

Love this place. I come here like once a month. I enjoy the concept of picking my protein and building a meal I can enjoy. The meat station could be a little cleaner though. service is typically average and prices are fairly reasonable. I redeemed a free bowl using my Genghis reward card.

I really enjoyed my lunch here the other day. I was elated to see that they had calamari and scallops as protein options. They were tiny gulf coast scallops, but alas they were real scallops, so I was still excited.
I went for a spicy ginger sauce and fixins’. The ginger was great on the seafood. I can’t wait to come back again and try something else.
Service was great, my waitress was always nearby and very attentive.
