Unimpressed!!! My friend and I decided to make a trip out to Glazed around midnight. Strictly based on Unilocal reviews. We bought 4, got charged 5(which was later refunded upon asking) and ate 2 onsite. These donuts didn’t hit the mark. They are made to order, that is topping only. Donuts didn’t taste fresh and were cold. I gave it a genourous 3 stars based on their effort.

My s/o found this place when I was craving doughnuts but didn’t want to make them myself. I eat a plant based(vegan) diet and Glazed offers(In addition to their creative variety of traditional doughnuts) a vegan glazed, vegan Oreo cookie doughnut, and(my personal favorite) a toasted coconut option! They are dreamy! The staff is very friendly and fun and they always work to accommodate me. I took off one star because you have to order the vegan doughnuts 24 hours in advance(so they can procure all the ingredients) and they now have a minimum order of a dozen(which is a lot if you are just one person wanting one meal or a small snack). Otherwise, Glazed is awesome! Highly recommend for a vegan treat!

First time here. We’re headed to auto show and wanted a quick bite of breakfast before entering the world of $ 12 everything food. The donut shop is a mix of hipster retro with good oldies playing, black and red minimalist interior décor. We saw a bunch of donuts presented with toppings ranging from cereal to bacon and icing. We opted for the more tame«glazed sandwiches». Him getting the glazed breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon and cheese on a glazed donut and mine was the glazed Frenchman. A French toast sort of donut cut like a sandwich. He said his«tasted like a bacon egg and cheese on a donut» and he’d give it a 7 out of 10. Mine was pretty good but not so much I’d run back. However his vanilla latte was«worth coming back for». Doubt we will be back unless we are in the area. But it is original and a fun change from the usual donut shop.

The toffee doughnut is my personal favorite. The doughnuts are good, but the best flavors run out early. If you’re in a rush don’t go here because it takes 10 – 15 minutes to order and get your doughnuts if it’s not busy. I wasn’t a fan of the macon, I would prefer the bacon be crispier, but everyone has their own preference. The fruit loop doughnut is yummy, but like I said get it early or the fruit loops can get kind of stale. I do love this place for a late night snack, but I wish there was another location closer to the memorial area.

Love the fact that this spot is open 24 hours. I had the Rasberry Love donut and fresh, hot coffee. Delicious! Too much sugar for me to try more than one donut at a time but I will be returning to try the other flavors. Nice, clean restaurant and good customer service.

I’ve been craving a fresh donut and I remember when glazed first opened. The donuts tonight were okay. Nothing like I remember but I guess it satisfied the craving. Night crew seemed like they didn’t wanna be there. I feel like the Dough the donuts are made with are too heavy to be kept in a warmer or what not. Make to order or attempt lighter dough maybe.

Cute little donut café. This review is strictly based on my personal experience and from tasting these donuts — cookies and crème, Macon, strawberry cheesecake, and coconut strawberry. Also got some donut holes. Donut holes — cute to look at, but they are not worth getting. They are pre made into sets of 5 with a variety of toppings. Since they are pre made they are not fresh. That being said, the cereal that was coated on them were stale, the donuts them self were hard and stale as well. Tasted like they were from the previous day or longer. Donuts — while they are nice to look at, the toppings really make up for what the donut lacks. The dough on the 4 donuts I got were inconsistent with texture. I had ordered 4 donuts; two of them had a texture of hardness, it was not fluffy at all. Seemed«bread-like», one donut I had was lighter and a bit more fluffy than the first two, the last donut(strawberry cheesecake) had what I was looking for. The donut of the strawberry cheese cake was light, fluffy, easy to break/bite/cut. If the other 3 donuts had the same consistency of dough as the strawberry cheesecake this would have been a 5 star review in terms of donuts. This place also has café items, sandwiches, coffee, tea, and other menu items. Their full menu however, is not available at all times. I wanted to try something on the full menu but was told it is available quarterly/on the weekends. Customer service was good too. Was informative with my order, patient and welcoming. Location is 24 hours. TIP — 15% off your order for checking in on Unilocal

24 hours is a plus. Price is good for the amazing donut! Only thing is… there needs to be one in Katy somewhere. Seriously this donut is bigger, fluffier than the Asian owned donut shops that are in and around Katy. The owner of Glazed definitely knows what he is doing, because it is tastier and worth its value. I highly recommend stopping in for a sweet indulgence! It was mouth watering and not too sweet. I purchased the Smores donut which hit the late night craving of sweets, but we just happened to be in the area so we stopped on in. It’s not all the hype as the shop is small and I can see it being busy and crowded during peak hours. Which is perfect time to come in during the night.

I expected more from a 24 hour donut place, though the donuts were decent. There was no real menu for which donuts they had, just a small case with unlabeled donuts. It seemed weird to me that some of the donuts were made to order, but they took a very long time. I expect donuts to be something I can grab quickly, and instead I had to wait for the bavarian cream. I was also disappointed that there were no cake donuts. The service was lacking, too. The staff mumbled and did not really seem interested in my business. Overall, I enjoyed the donuts, but not the experience. Next time I would go somewhere else.

My first visit was when they had their soft opening last year. Reading about the macon(also know as the maple syrup bacon donut) just peaked my curiosity. Too bad they limited 2 donuts per customer back then. Fast forward to today. I ordered three donuts today: the wonderful macon, Lucky Charms, and a plain glazed. I ate two: the plain and the macon. the other one is in the refrigerator waiting to be eaten as dessert. I also ordered coffee. The first time I ate the macon, it was during the aforementioned soft opening. I think the sweetness of the maple syrup took over the donut. It was still delicious, though. Today’s macon was just right. I could taste both the sweet and salty flavors out of it. The plain reminded me of another brand similar to it, but not as overpowering sweet. Thank goodness! The coffee was alright. it wasn’t bitter. And, it was also freshly brewed. I had patience to wait for them to make a fresh pot. They also have«seasonal» donuts available. I may get my overfill of Pumpkin Spice next Fall. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place is open 24 hours, by the way. Although, you may have to look at their website for holiday hours.

I won’t deny that I love the concept behind Glazed Donuts, with their live baking, funky and fusion style donut recipes and 24 hour availability perfect for any craver’s dream, however, love would be a far from truthful word to describe the taste and service. First off, glazed is incredibly short staffed. Getting a fresh donut should not take more than 20 minutes, if even, let alone 2.5 hours! Secondly, the taste just isn’t there. You can’t screw up a donut aside from making it too sweet or too greasy. Glazed, on the other hand, makes bland flavorless donuts that only serve the purpose of being Instagram cute. If you want a cute picture, Glazed is your spot but if you want actual melt in your mouth donuts, go to any Shipley’s around 5 – 8 am.

This place seriously sucks and what’s even more outrageous than their mediocre donuts… the outrageous prices they are charging for them. After hearing all the hype about this donut place and their bacon donut, I had to try it out. I regretted going as soon as I finished chewing my first bite of the bacon donut. The bread didn’t have that soft«donut» consistency, the bacon was not crispy and the whole thing was not good at all. I ended up throwing the donut away because it was THAT bad. Don’t waste your money or time on this place.

This place has the best customer service. You know me, I’ll tell the truth no matter what and I hurt feelings in the process. From the time I came into the establishment until I left the owner and his employees were very attentive if I need something to drink or before today and kept checking on me to see if I wanted something more to eat. This place has free Wi-Fi so I was able to conduct some business make some phone calls all in the same location so this is very convenient for me. And even though they kept checking on me they were not pushy. Sometimes I go to a place and they act like they want you to get out as soon as you’re finished eating. I I highly recommend trying this place once you go there you will understand why.

Interesting experience. Lots of unique flavored, but I’m pretty bland so I stuck with cookies and cream and a simple chocolate glazed donut. I only ate the cookies and cream. I was too full. These are some large donuts. The base for all the donuts is the same. The topping is what sets them apart. Was it the best donut ever? No. But it was pretty good. It was overly sweet — so I can only imagine the other ones. I’ll probably go back for a special treat.

Being one of the new specialty doughnut shops in town, and a 24hr one at that, we decided to give Glazed a try. For those familiar with Voodoo donuts in Portland, it’s similar but not quite at that level. They have a good selection of specialty doughnuts some of which change daily. We tried the Cheesecake(my personal favorite), Crème Brulee, Toffee, and Dirty Zebra doughnuts. All of them were delicious! We had to wait a bit for the Cheesecake and Crème Brulee to finish, but they were well worth the wait. I actually can’t wait to try the others on our next visit. The shop was small and clean with a clear window to the kitchen so that you can watch the doughnuts being made. Some of the things that could use improvement, which is why I gave them only 3 stars, are there following: — Coffee was not readily available, especially for a 24hr doughnut shop, we were done eating by the time my coffee was ready — When I finally got my coffee it wasn’t even hot — The sugar for the coffee was in an open coffee cup instead of a proper sugar dispenser — A better display for the regular selection of doughnuts on the menu on the wall above instead of the clear little display. Reserve the small display for the doughnuts that change daily. It was a little difficult trying to figure out what was available and what the doughnut was called — Improved customer service at the order counter. I was having a little bit of difficulty getting my order placed correctly. I’m sure the cashier was new, so that could be understandable. In the end I certainly enjoyed the doughnuts and I’m sure that after a little more time, things will flow more smoothly. I’m definitely coming back for more.

Finally! Someone brought a bunch of these to work… and I was so excited to get to try them! I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews. I tried a little of almost all. I couldn’t resist. The best was the bacon maple. I also really liked the toffee. You can’t help but smile when eating these little treats. They look like a party and taste delish. I can’t wait to go to the actual location and try some of their doughnut sandwhiches. I’ve heard the doughnuts are way better fresh but I was pretty satisfied with my boxed ones.
