I try to avoid these places but I couldn’t resist. I have been twice this week. I tried the red velvet donut and kolaches. I love the bread on the kolaches and the sausage is great. The boudin one is very filling and has a nice flavor.

The boudoin kolaches were the best I ever had, and the donuts were fresh and soft! The service was good also despite being busy, and I they had a personal touch with their regular customers that made want to go back

If you need a place to go in a messy bun, no makeup, and sweat pants without someone judging you; this is the place for you! Le Donut is a little donut shop who’s main objective is to get you in and out fast! They are known for their cronut and it doesn’t disappoint! If you can manage to grab one before they sell out, do it! Things I’ve tried: Cronut– 5 stars– it’s like a whole donut of the flakey glaze crust. It’s very good! Red Velvet– 5 stars– very moist! It’s really like eating a cake in the morning. If you’re not into really sweet, than this is probably not your thing. They make them with cream cheese frosting and just glaze. The cream cheese can be a little much sometimes. Small sausage and cheese Kolache– 4 stars– very moist and good! The bread is 5 stars. The sausage is just a little salty for my taste. Apple Fritter– 5 stars– I’m a big apple fritter fan. These are the flat and crispy kind. It’s really good! Bear Claw– 3 stars– it is Apple filled, it’s not bad but came across and not that donut flakey like if that makes sense. Blueberry cake– 3 stars– not as good as christys, but still good! It doesn’t have as many blueberry as I like Cream cheese Old Fashioned– 5 stars– as far as old fashioned donuts go, these are really good! I can’t wait to try the other flavors Chocolate glazed– 4 stars– I never get chocolate donuts oddly enough, but these were really good! Chocolate icing with sprinkles– 3 stars– I guess as good as it can be. The donut itself tasted like yesterday’s donut, a little stale. It could have just been the batch. Chocolate iced with coconut– 2 stars– I don’t like coconut sooo my fault so being in denial Maple iced– 4 stars– a very rich maple flavor, there’s no guessing about what flavor this could be! Donut holes– 5 stars– it’s hard to mess these up, but they’re really good! *** just want everyone to know this is over the course of several trips!!!

I promise you these are the best donuts in Houston and they are extremely cheap. I used to live in the medical center and I loved getting a chocolate donut from here. I feel like this is such a hidden gem that no one knows about. Now that I live in a different part of town I really miss Le Donut!

Charged 116.31 I stead of 16.31, was not given a proof of refund receipt or any evidence that we were actually refunded, and then on top of that we were charged another 16.31, forced to wait 40 minutes then rushed out the door with cold donuts and a lack of apology. I will NEVERCOMETOTHISESTABLISHMENTAGAIN. BEWARE!

I came here around 8am and ordered the red velvet donut and a cronut. The red velvet tasted decent-good and the cronut tasted great! I wish it was warm and hot since I came in the morning hours. Whenever I go to Shipley’s around the same time, the donuts are always warm. Even though the cronut and red red velvet wasn’t warm/hot, it still tasted good. I would come back here again and next time ask for it to be heated up. This is the only donut shop which I’ve been to that uses an iPad to swipe credit cards. I was kind of impressed for a donut shop to be updated with technologies… The staff was nice despite being a little bit busy.

Best plain glazed donut. Really delicious, pillowy, melt in your mouth. I could eat 4 in one sitting :). Cake donuts: tasty too, a little too light for my personal preference. Cronut: glazed, pretty heavy. Not a fan of their kolaches: their dough is a little too dense and has a lardy aftertaste.

The donuts and kolaches here are pretty good! It’s right on OST and basically just a normal counter with a display of donuts and kolaches — a few seats. The donut holes are soft and fluffy with the right about of glaze! So delicious and addicting! The kolaches are pretty good as well. Super convenient and super quick with its own little parking area right outside on a corner lot! Super sweet family owned business!

Boudin Boudin Boudin Boudin Rockin Everywhere, Rock, Rockin’ Everywhere For the longest time, I had the most sordid love affair with Kolache Factory, but that all ended as soon as I found Le Donut. Conveniently located three minutes away from where I live, our relationship has grown so deep, that I think it’s safe to say that we’re in Le Love. While their sausage, jalapeño and cheese kolaches are always on point, it’s that boudin that keeps me coming back for more. Overflowing with stuffing, it’s the perfect balance of savory and spicy. Plus they’re super huge. Not complaining though, because my favorite thing to stuff carbs with… is more carbs. Oh, and did I mention that they also have cronuts? I’m not ashamed to say that I’ve once downed four in one sitting. You would too after you sunk your teeth into all those flaky layers. #noragrets

This place is more than just a donut shop. It has donuts, kolaches, sandwiches, and pastries. Had a lot to offer, so I ended up with a bag of donuts and a couple croissants! They have two windows, on the right is their donuts, and on the left is their savory side. Make sure to check both because you definitely want to try their croissants and kolaches. The donuts here are fluffy and fresh. Even the savory items are warmed up for you if you want. One of the best donut places around here.

I thought the donuts were very mediocre. They didn’t taste like they used good quality ingredients and they were on the dry side. It tasted like the oil they cooked them in wasn’t fresh too. l ordered a bunch of flavors but they all tasted very similar. My husband, as well as some friends we had over for coffee and donuts weren’t impressed either and I ended up throwing most of them away.

Seriously, amazing quality donuts for such a cheap price! My sister told me this place’s glazed donut is one of the best, and I can’t agree even more! Fluffy and light yet dense enough to not be too squishy, I love ordering this basic one so much! Kolaches are whatever for me. Hands down though, my favorite donut here is the red velvet glazed cake donut! I ordered a box for my group and wasn’t able to try the cream cheese version but hey, an excuse to go again?! The red velvet cake donut is divine! Cake yet super light, not a heavy, dense hockey puck like some places have achieved. Definitely my go to place if I ever crave for any breakfast sweets! Another bonus is it’s so close to school. :)

This place is great for doughnuts! Having been to far too many doughnut shops to call healthy, I can say this is the place to be. First off, however, this place is more of a pick-and-go type of doughnut shop than it is a ‘lets sit down and have a doughnut and a coffee’-shop. There are about 5 – 6 bar-stools by the window and then one other small table, but other than that, very minimal seating, so I would plan on going somewhere else to eat/drink(although if its just you and another person, okay place to stay for a doughnut or two granted its not too busy). For the doughnuts: DELICIOUS: they have several different doughnut bases: 1) light fluffy, 2) regular cake, 3) buttermilk-cake(these aforementioned ones have all the various toppings for each, glazed, chocolate frosted, sprinkles, etc), and then 3) chocolate cake, 4) velvet cake, 5) blueberry(and a few others I don’t remember off the top of my head. I’m a big cake-doughnut fan, and their buttermilk-cake doughnuts were AMAZING! Super moist, fresh, crunchy, and their toppings weren’t super sugary so you could enjoy the doughnut itself. I didn’t get a chance to drink their coffee, but I saw them being made fresh as I was sitting. They also have apple fritters, croughnuts(were gone by the time I got there around 10:20 on a Sunday morning) and cinnamon rolls which I will definitely be trying in the near future. Overall, great place, wish they had more seating, but bottom line, great doughnut place!

I can’t believe I was remiss in raving about THEBESTDONUTSHOP in North America! Seriously. They have a broad array of pastries, Kolaches, and Buttery Croissants. Absolutely divine. I’m addicted to the Cinnamon Roll… ask to have Chocolate Frosting added… swoon. Well worth stopping… then proceed to Hermann Park to work it off!

Ok so based on my past reviews I realize I’ve been eating way too many donuts as of late. It’s ok though because donuts are good for you. Oh yea the review! So the glazed donuts at Le Donut are AMAZING. I’d say their glazed donuts are the best I have had at any place! Also the owners are very nice people! For absolutely no reason they gave me a free donut and when the ups guy brought their mail in they gave the guy a free donut! Very classy Le Donut very classy! It was definitely refreshing to see how nice they are

This is the kind of place I think of when I want donuts. No frills, no gimmick. Just super soft and sweet donuts nestled into three shelves in one glass counter. They threw in a couple free donut holes which was nice. Not only was that super cool, but it figuratively and literally fed my addiction… Well played Le Donut, well played. They have kolaches, croissants, and breakfast sandwiches too, which they will readily zap and warm for you. They’ve also apparently ventured into«Mexican breakfast tacos» but I wasn’t feeling brave and my stomach was already full of donuts. There was a constant stream of people stopping in, which probably leads to general pastry freshness. Only down side is the location, out of the way for me.

Finally got the chance to visit this place since I get to work from home today. I love donuts but I don’t get them on a regular basis… quite honestly, I get them probably twice a year so I was dreaming about this last night in all my excitement. I got in at around 8:50 in the morning and there were 2 people before us. We saw the kolaches but my eyes were on the donuts. Specifically, I had my eyes on the plain glazed but then the pile of donut holes pulled me in. So… following what everyone here said, I ordered 6 cronuts and a dozen donut holes(they sell them by the dozen). Once I paid, the lady handed me my box of treats with a tissue paper with 4 fresh donut holes on the side, which we wolfed down in seconds once we got into the car. Awesome! Now you’re probably wondering why they only get 3 stars. The service was pretty good and it wasn’t too crowded. There were a decent amount of selections when we were there and the place was well lit. It also looked pretty clean. WEONLYGOT5CRONUTS. And were charged for 6. Each cronut is $ 1.99. I don’t know, do people normally check the contents of their box before they leave? Should we have to? After this, I guess I will in the future. I’m not too miffed though since we got extra donut holes and I was too quick to confirm my payment and forgot to add a tip. The extra $ 1.99 is for their tip, I guess. Aside from that, their donut holes were amazingly fluffy and soft. I just want to surround myself with these beautiful bites and be in my little heaven on earth. The cronuts were pretty good too. It was a bit crispy on the outside and not too sweet(but I chose the one with the least amount of glaze). There were visible layers but definitely not as flaky as an actual croissant. Pretty good, but I’d love to try their plain ones next time. Perhaps I should add another donut visit this year…
