Got breakfast and lunch here today since I forgot to pack some food for studying. With that to be said, food isn’t great but will do the job. Their breakfast burritos are nothing compared to the cheesy goodness of the breakfast burritos served at the«park» in MD Anderson’s main building.(Usually served from 7:30−9am or as long as they last.) Then for lunch gets I got tasteless apple braised pork and pasta. The sauce I made(tartar sauce+ketchup+salt) sounds disgusting but immensely helped the foods lack of flavor. Andddd what boggles my mind is the overly inflated price of everything. Meh, I’ve experienced better. Oh well, next time I’ll either: A) get a salad B) bring my own food C) make the skybridge trip all the way to the main cafeteria if I’m not lazy

Today I had the pleasure of having Hospital food at its finest at the Waterfall Café — Even though that’s not saying much. However, the stars are really for the awesome view you get if you sit out on their sweet patio. On a nice weather day such as today, the patio really takes away the gloominess of having to hang around waiting rooms. For better food, order in or wait until you get out to have lunch.

I know you don’t expect much from hospital food — but this really does nothing to try to surprise you. For lunch they are pretty expensive. The only saving grace is the hot made to order items for breakfast are pretty good and not too pricey. Otherwise — don’t bother.

OK so I had the pleasure of eating lunch here with Larae not too long ago and didn’t even think to review it(Even though I review everything) because it just wasn’t memorable enough for me to waste my time on. But since Abby went ahead and took all the work in FTRing it I might as well confirm that this place is not worth it. During lunch it’s packed and it’s not even that great. And I agree the prices are way too high for mediocre food. But the only thing I have to add is the view from up here is pretty cool.

I just don’t get it. Times are hard, man! How can a hospital cafeteria charge $ 9 for a burger, fries and a drink?! This is just wrong! The buns are so hard, I can put a bunch of them together on my wall and use them as a cork board! If you get a burger, get it on the Texas Toast. I do have to hand it to them for their breakfast. Omelets, eggs and pancakes are made to order. The breakfast tacos are always fresh, and the breakfast meal deal is actually a pretty good deal($ 3.40 for scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, hash brown patty and biscuit). For the most part, the food is decent, but not something you would want to eat everyday. They have a rotating menu, pizza parlor, grill, grab-and-go sandwiches, salad bar, and fountain drinks/coffee/tea. This place gets packed at lunch making grab-and-go more like grab-stand in line for half your lunch break-and-go. Also, don’t expect to get dinner here because this joint closes shop at 2pm. If you’re hungry after hours, you’ll hafta fend for yourself at the vending machines.
