Glow Hookah Lounge

So I have been eyeing this place for a while. It looks Hella shady from the outside but once inside you will find a nice lounge with comfy seats and a huge screen. This isn’t your typical middle eastern style shisha joint. It has a nice indo/​pak vibe.
The shisha was cheap and decent. You can choose which tobacco brand you want not just the flavors. They use good charcoal not that instalight crap.
The food was really yummy and value priced. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries for only $ 5.99. The burger was not a pre-​made patty. It was seasoned and had a nice kick. The bun could have been better quality but I love that it was grilled. Menu said burger came with onions, tomato, lettuce, and mayo. I got some lettuce, very little mayo, and no tomato or onions :-(It came with a lot of fries. They were crispy and dusted with a spicy seasoning. So good. But spicy. My hubby ordered chicken tender and fries. That was okay. Nothing special.
My only complaint– the reason I would think twice about coming back is that while I was there there was some punk who plugged his phone into the stereo system and began playing music with nothing but fbombs and other curse words. I can handle a couple but song after song of bitches and hoes… trash. He also started playing videos of girls doing splits and twerking… really?! As a woman, it was offensive and derogatory. This is a place of business not that guy’s personal phone. If I want to see that crap I’ll head to Richmond. I hope the management will put a stop to that kind of stuff.
Definitely worth checking out. Gives Red Sky and Delight a run for their money.

I recently visited this establishment in an attempt to find a alright hookah lounge in Houston, Texas without traveling an hour. I entered the establishment, I noticed it could use more vibrant colors to make the place more inviting. I addition, i was listing to the music, sound wise it was perfect volume; however, i dont know about everyone else, when i listen to music and see music video i would like to see them matching. This rule can be changed of course if there is live DJ. I obtain a Peach Mango hookah which is one of my fall safe. As i was taking pulls it felt like the head was clogged. I told the manage about it and he stated it was the hose. Lastly the hookah itself had very little taste to it, i found out that if your getting Al-​Fakhar, which is a juicy Tobacco, they squeeze the juice out of it. This has multiple of adverse effect on the hookah. A. it reduces the flavor of the hookah, B. burns the hookah quicker, and C. when changing coal s from the initial coal, the taste of burn last a whole lot longer in comparison. Overall the place is decent if your not a really big hookah person and you just want something really quick to sit for an hour. I would recommend this place. I saw these prior comments of this place saying the customer service stink. I disagree the customer service was good.

Good place. Some time they have dj over the weekend and belly dancer. Fun place to hang out with friends

I used to enjoy coming here when they first opened although now this place has just become extremely disappointing. The management is just terrible. The music genres are all over the place, one minute they’re playing rap or the next foreign music. They play music way too loud to where it’s hard to socialize with the person sitting right next to me. Their hookah makes me so lightheaded and it gets harsh really quick. I don’t typically have this problem anywhere else. I’m not sure if it’s the hookah, music or both but this place gives me a headache. I remember I ordered White Peach, a fumari flavor, and it did NOT taste like how it should’ve been. They skimp you on the shisha. Not to mention they eventually stop serving you coals after roughly over an hour. I come here to enjoy my time with my friends and such but they clearly won’t allow you to enjoy it. As for the food, I ordered their chicken tenders with fries one day and got sick when I got home. I am very upset with the way Glow is now.

interior looks amazing, but so wasted on this place. The management is awful, same goes for the hookah. I gave this place 2 chances and was disappointed everytime. Won’t ever come back here again, I am sticking to Delight. And they dont serve pork dish. Very upset tbh.

This place is awesome! Nuff said. Great customer service! Definitely try the ice tip guys! Highly recommended.
