In Houston for work and needed a haircut. I stumbled upon this clean salon in a small retail center and Sandy took care of me. Great job! I’ll be back here for sure.

Sandy or Anthony are great! I pretty much grew up with these guys. They both know my family. They both have their own styles. I went to so many different places but I still came back to them. Anthony is off Monday. I am comfortable at this salon. An average male haircut is $ 15. I usually get a messy haircut style with #1 fade.

Kim does a great job at cutting hair and coloring. Only $ 17 for wash, cut, style. and $ 75 for cut, color, style. and $ 40 for a touch up and cut. She has never messed up my hair and I’ve always walked out looking great! I’ve referred to her a lot of customers and they all love her.

I hadn’t had my hair cut in half a year(or more?) and finally resigned to the fact that my split ends weren’t doing me any favors. But being that I am completely clueless about reputable hair studios in Houston and well, I don’t really care too intensely about my hair(it grows like weeds, I tell you!), I did the unthinkable and let my mother recommend a place. This unassuming place in a Chinatown strip mall is definitely something I wouldn’t have discovered myself. It was nearly empty on this early Friday afternoon and the two employees were listlessly milling about. I decided to take a chance anyway. My hair is not terribly complicated — medium length with layers and sideswept bangs — difficult to completely wreck(although it’s been done once or twice by now!). The gentleman(husband to the owner, possibly?) wasn’t the kindest or gentlest with me when lathering up my hair with the somewhat cool water. This made me a little bit nervous so my expectations began sinking about the actual haircut. When I was seated, the owner of this establishment(Tammy I think?) very promptly began hacking away at my massive bramble with locks after verifying what I desired with my hair. She wasn’t the chattiest, but we did interact a little about the basics — it certainly helped the time go by. Also worth noting, she used the razor method when disposing of my hair. I have no preference of whether a hair stylist uses razors or scissors when dealing with my hair, but I know some people are extremely particularly… I can say confidently, I loved the end product. She very painstakingly styled my hair(and of course it will never look that lovely again and hasn’t thus far) thereafter and I was very impressed with how she perfectly created what I had requested. $ 25 for a women with long hair, $ 16(I think?) for shorter hair. Totally a bargain(my haircuts used to be $ 75) nd I would gladly return here!
