House of Wax

I first met Becky when she was working at another waxing salon. I was actually giving that salon one last chance because I was not having good luck finding a good wax specialist there. Coming from a background of having a cosmetology license and working in salons previously I have high expectations. I have been going to her now for a little over 4 years. Becky is the BEST waxing specialist I have ever met! Not only is she an amazing person but she is very knowledgeable in waxing and everything that goes with it. That is why I followed her here and will continue to follow her wherever she goes! I am always recommending her to everybody because I feel everybody should have the same experience I had!

So there are certain things you’ll want a 5 star review for. Having hair ripped out of your lady parts is one of them. I followed Becky from her last location because it’s hard to find someone who is good at it (does a good job and keeps the pain to a minimum) and makes the whole process comfortable.
You probably already know the whole thing works, but she’s also a great person to talk to while getting the job done. Also, you can book appointments online and do multiple bookings, which is a huge plus because I love having a standing appointment. If your schedule changes, it super easy to change your date. If Becky’s schedule changes, then she’s really good about texting well ahead of time and working out a date/​time that fits into your schedule.
Becky works out of the Salontrose bungalow, so just park somewhere on the street, check in with the receptionist, and grab a water/​coke/​wine and hang out. She’s usually right on time (another plus) and gets right to work. Her space is super clean, and avoids anything that could cause cross contamination. She takes payment by Square, which also makes it nice to not have another piece of paper floating around my purse.
There are cheaper places around town to get waxed, but this is one area I’d rather not skimp on. If you’re new to waxing, avoid horror stories, and go see Becky!

I have followed Becky from a different salon because she has been the best waxer I have ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable when you have questions and does the best job to achieve with you are wanting. I recommend her to everyone that I know that needs a good waxer.

I have been seeing Becky for a bi-​monthly Brazilian wax for 2 years now. She is amazing! It’s done before I know it with minimal pain and an eye for detail. She is friendly and professional. Since finding her, no one else is allowed close to me with hot wax!

There is no better way to get a wax than in the trusted hands of Becky! She is seriously amazing. I can somehow be comfortable during a Brazilian because she has a way of putting the client at ease. She’s also incredibly knowledgable: looking for a good eyebrow pencil, deciding to go for a more adventurous wax? She’s always been a wealth of information for me. And I just love visiting her in the adorable set-​up at Salontrose. Always nice to enjoy a nice Karbach before a waxing!

Don’t know what I would do without Becky. I have very fair skin and eyebrows and it takes Becky’s artistry to bring my face to life! I like her service so much that I brought my sister in and now she never visits Houston without having me make an appointment for her. Becky really knows her craft!

Becky is wonderful! I’ve been going to her for over 3 years and I wouldn’t want anyone else waxing me. She pays attention to detail and makes you feel very comfortable.

I absolutely adore Becky. I’ve been with her for several years now so I had to follow her when she started her new endeavor. She’s professional, sweet, chill, obviously AMAZING (hence the repeat business) and also makes you feel extremely comfortable no matter the situation. So for all the first time waxers… DO NOT HESITATE TO VISIT HER! EVERY EXPERIENCE WILL BE A GOOD ONE!

No one else has touched my eyebrows in the two years I’ve lived in Houston. Becky is meticulous, and a true artist. I recommend her to everyone.
What makes me laugh is people will ask me about my eyebrows at random times. I have to explain to them that I can’t take credit. My eyebrows look good because Becky is an expert. I just follow her instructions and don’t touch my eyebrows between appointments.
