Dr. Huang has been my primary care physician for more than a year. He is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. His bedside manner is excellent. Last year I changed my health insurance and needed a new primary care physician. My good friend highly recommended Dr. Huang, but I still wanted to check his credential which turned out to be excellent(note: I checked all my doctors for their medical school education, internship and residency training, years of experience in their area of expertise and hospital affiliation). I’m glad I took my friend’s recommendation. Dr, Huang is an excellent doctor.

Dr. Huang is now at Kelsey/Seybold Clinic Main Campus in the Med. Center… not Friendswood. I went to him for a VERY common procedure… to drain/dress a perirectal abscess. He failed to follow common/known protocols. Sent me home with antibiotics(not recommended by research) and said it would clear up on its own(not supported by research). He’s the«doctor» so I decided to trust him. I should NOT have! It didn’t clear up and it was an ugly mess when it quadrupled in size and burst on its own. I suffered excruciating pain and loss of mobility for 3 days after I visited him and then had to manage the result myself at midnight on a Sunday night. Needless to say… I have a LOW opinion of his skills. Bottom line, he followed none of the published protocols I found at any authoritative source and specifically at the National Institute of Health. He should NOT have taken a patient with a condition he was not qualified to deal with. In addition, his nurse is a «Nurse Ratchet»… she has the personality of a Nazi SS Officer. Overall experience was BAD and I would NOT recommend him for anything but basic, non-critical medicine. Like when you need an antibiotic and don’t really«need» a doctor. Don’t trust him with anything life threatening!
