James Coney Island

I went here today and ordered the Texas all beef hot dog. The hot dog itself was burnt and when I asked the girl if this was normal she said yes. Needless to say I’m now really sick. My son got a burger which was bland.

To be what people may call «a fast food joint» the service here is amazing!!! Jason rocks! We originally went through the drive thru and decided that it’ll be wise to eat inside, Jason was very accommodating told us to just come in and he would have it ready and waiting when we came in.

Very good. Tater tots perfectly cooked… nice and crispy. A bit pricey though. Got a Texas and Chicago dog, small tot and small drink and it was over $ 11.00.

They just remodeled. It looked good before. .it looks pretty nice now. Food is great. A bit pricey for hot dogs but I must say… very good hot dogs. .We keep coming back for more. I must say they they still don’t know how to work the new computer’s yet. …however, good food

Good service, good food and quick. It isn’t a replacement for the real thing but it’s darn close. Authentic ingredients and I like that they have other options too in case someone in the group isn’t a coney dog fan. Maybe you shouldn’t be friends with them anymore though I not. Just sayin. Would definitely come back here again when I’m in town.

Fast food hot dogs. Thats what I think about when I see James Coney Island. I also immediately think of James Coney Island in New York. Imagine my suprise when I find out that this fast food joint actually orginated in Houston, Tx rather than NYC. I friend of mine visited from New York and was confused by this as well as he has never seen any James Coney Island francishes in NY. The hot dogs weren’t all that great in my opinion. They seem to taste like those cheap hot dogs that you get at the grocery. Or maybe it was because I got the really cheap hot dogs special they were offering. Anyways, I left not impressed. I think I’ve been spoiled since I’ve been to Chicago where they serve really good hot dogs.
