I love Jimmy Johns, but this location was absolutely horrible! Before I even get started on the food, I’ll tell you about the customer service. There were literally no words exchanged between the cashier and I. When I walked up to the register, she sort of raised her eyebrows as a sign to order and after I placed my order, she just held out her hand to take my payment. Now as far as the food goes, it was horrible. I agree with everyone else on the whole week-old bread thing. The bread was so hard that we were taking turns thumping it. The cucumbers on my sandwich were so waterlogged that you could see through them. Also, I paid extra for avocado, and there was no sign of it whatsoever on my sandwich. Overall, I do not recommend you waste your money at this location. You’re better off making the drive to another Jimmy John’s location.

This place has the worst customer service. Another thing about this place is that they’ll literally give you a thin slice of turkey and load it up with lettuce. It’s a quite the pathetic establishment and disgrace to jimmy johns

Great place on the University of Houston’s campus to grab a quick bite in between classes. Typical time between ordering and receiving is less than 3 minutes even when they are busy. They also deliver around campus. I recommend the Big John(roast beef sandwich) or the Turkey Tom. The white bread they use is really tasty. Above average sandwich with super fast service.

I like JJs but today I thought I would have to go to emergency room for mouth lacerations. I think they were making sandwiches with week old bread. It was very dry, hard, and sharp to the mouth. Please fix it JJ.

I’ve ordered from Jimmy John’s in 4 states and this location has to be the worst by far. The sandwich itself is comparable, but the service is slow – (like slower than your average delivery service and not just slower than they should be for a business that ADVERTISES its speedy delivery! If it’s raining, forget it. I once waited over an hour for an order when it rained.

Oh Jimmy Johns. I order from this place about every week for lunch. Their delivery is always super fast, and I get lunch in 15 minutes. Can’t complain at all. It’s usually a great sandwich!

I love love love Jimmy Johns, but they always(without fail) always mess up my order! I hate mayonnaise and my sandwich will always have mayonnaise! No matter how many times I tell them! So far, my order has been wrong 5 out of the 5 times I’ve been there. Come on guys!

I would’ve given this Jimmy John’s five stars since almost every time I’ve been, food has been out super fast and made perfectly. BUT. During the week of our dance show, I ordered a sub to be delivered so I wouldn’t have to wait til 11PM to eat dinner. When I called, the girl who picked up sounded super annoyed and clueless to where my building was even after I pointed out the surrounding buildings. When the delivery guy actually got to the building, they didn’t call me to let me know the food was here. A friend said he saw the Jimmy John’s guy«in the building for like a minute before walking out and leaving». I never received a call to notify me they were there(I was upstairs and it’s a pretty small building) and they didn’t call me after. I’ve had friends order delivery before and they always call and let people know their food has arrived. This delivery instance has pretty much caused me to stop going to Jimmy John’s.

I order delivery to campus from this place 2 – 3 times a week, and except once they have always got to me within 15 minutes. I usually get the Beach Club or Italian Club(with hot peppers), always as an unwich. Occasionally they’ll have someone different who cannot do a tight lettuce wrap but the majority of the time they’re great.

I always have had a pleasant experience with this Jimmy John’s, considering that I am a total noob and didn’t taste JJ until It was built at UH ground. Never had food poisoning. My big johns have been very bacteria free. The filling is fresh and the bread is amazing. Oh yeah, the sandwich comes out in like a minute. Super fast, holds true to their many signs outside ‘freaky fast’ and inside. Staff here are super friendly. Today is Friday so if you need a vegetarian sandwich, their tuna fish is pretty good. And I never liked tuna fish sandwiches. If you are ultra lazy on the campus, you can call them for delivery. But just walk there. You might need the exercise before and after that sandwich.

This place is absolutely horrible!!! The lack of customer service and respect for employees was sickening. I watched as a male manager completely belittled an employee to tears. I told the male manager that was the first and last time I’d EVER step foot inside a Jimmy John’s ever again. That poor employee… I can’t imagine how he treats the employees behind closed doors. We’d already payed for our food, so we took it to-go. That night my husband and I both came down with food poisoning! Absolutely ridiculous. Think twice before doing business with this crappy place.

This is, by far, the WORST Jimmy Johns I have ever been to(I write as I await food poisoning). Sandwich I ordered was wrong. Go figure. I had to repeat it numerous times before the guy just wrote down whatever he felt like. Bread was at least a day old(if not older). Roast beef was very questionable. I ate two more bites(I was hungry) before throwing it out. I have never thrown a JJ sandwich out before. Thanks for robbing me of my hard-earned money jerks.

Great clean restaurant with very friendly employees. I also echo the fact that their service is 10x better than the rude ladies at the Subway nearby. I always order the Hunter’s Club with extra roast beef and lettuce, and they have it ready within minutes. Walk the extra distance, you won’t regret it.

Do NOT come here. Your asking for major food poisoning!(Which I got btw). I ordered the veggie club and upon first bite I bit into the most sour foul salty tasting cucumber and it went downhill from there. The sandwhich wasn’t all that great. I’m just going to be safe and try my luck at another location, if I ever crave JJ’s again. Great friendly staff! But two tips: Keep everything sanitized(including your hands and check the produce).

Whoop whoop! This is a brand new Jimmy John’s that just opened up at the UH campus. About time… after a desperate cry for something new on campus, it seems my prayers have been answered! There are currently two Subways and a McAllisters all within a mile of each other. So you might ask, why all the excitement about another sandwich shop? Welll…Because it’s Jimmy John’s! They deliver you sandwiches. In fact, 7 days a week! It may not seem like a big deal… but when you are in the 8th floor of the library cramming for an exam and your stomach starts grumbling. You will be grateful that you can just call up Jimmy John’s and soon your sandwich will be waiting for you outside. Note: make sure to ask whether they deliver to a particular building on campus. Of course, the sandwiches are definitely a step up from Subway. The location is a new complex right next to China Star with parking. The store seating is quite limited and it gets pretty crowded during lunch time. The staff is pretty friendly, unlike the Subway ladies.(Y’all know what I’m talking about!) Anyways, enjoy the sammiches fellow Cougars!
