Not everything here is amazing, but once you find what you like on the menu, it is really good. My favorite things to order are: Chow Mei Fun, Low Mein, General Tso chicken, Sesame Chicken, Fried Chicken Wings, Broccoli Shrimp, Brown Rice, Soups.(Meats {Beef, pork, chicken, shrimp) in the noodle dishes are always tender and delicious *however for some reason the meat is tough and chewy if you order meats in a main dish) I find the eggrolls & shrimp rolls absorb a lot of oil and are super greasy. The fried rice is bland, dry, & hard. Ribs have a thick red sugary syrup glaze. I really don’t like any of the sliced chicken dishes at all. I don’t know why but the sliced white chicken grosses me out. I always do carry out because it is close to my house. It is a decent little place to get your«regular dishes» but I have had so many dishes that I did not like that I am scared to be adventurous any more.

This place has O.K. food, however I once ordered the shrimp fried rice and on my first bite I bit down onto a staple. Luckily, no blood was involved but I did call over the manager or owner– who agreed to remake my plate and I overheard her yelling at the staff from my seat. While it was entertaining to hear her yell at the idiots that dropped a staple into my food, I later was a little pissed to find out she wasn’t even giving me a discount or any money off for my poisoned order. Now, I don’t want to seem selfish but I did find a staple! However, this place is constantly being complained about. Before my staple-expierience, I came with my family and a couple received their food and fled just a few minutes after being served. They didn’t even pick up their forks, they just looked at their food and left. The food is alright but the service awkward and corky.

My husband and I enjoy this Chinese café. Its actually our favorite in Houston whether we order delivery or dine in. My usual is the house lo mein and my husband loves the general tso tso chicken. It always comes out delicious and hot. We dont live close by to their location and the go great lengths to drive to our apartment and it still be hot. When we dine in they are sweet and i love the manager(or maybe she is the n owner but she is awesome). The atmosphere is very nice for a date and for a good size crowd. We used to eat there with like 15 people every other sunday and they always brace themselves and smile to serve us. Jason was one of the drivers/server we love so shout out to him! He works really hard! I literally only order from them because their food tastes amazing. Oh and their egg drop soup is very simple that i love it. Not so eggy flavor just right in my opinion. Oh crab puffs are amazing and their egg rolls are close to the best. Oh and their special with the teriyaki chicken bowl is a great size and cheap and delicious.

I love this place because the chicken is actually huge chunks of chicken in a very flavorful sauce! I give it 4 stars because the ‘fried rice’ seems like nothing more than white rice mixed with soy sauce. But this is most certainly a staple chinese spot for us!

Food is just ok but the delivery guy was the rudest person not just once but twice! After the first time it happened, I haven’t ordered again but one of my employees ordered and the same thing happened. NEVERAGAIN!

The shrimp lo mein is life changing in a good way. The delivery is quick and the service friendly. I have zero complaints about this place.

Ordered pepper steak with fried rice and 2 shrimp rolls for delivery. It took them an hour to deliver. The food was fresh but I wasn’t impressed with the taste. It was sort of bland and nothing special. The shrimp rolls were wayyyyy to greasy. They also put a stuffed crab and egg role in the bag which were OK. Nothing too special about this restaurant. Probably won’t return.

I’m not a big fan of Chinese food but every now and then I get a craving for it. I normally only get one thing at whatever Chinese restaurant I go to, something you cant really mess up, Jalapeño Chicken. Pretty good, it’s nice and spicy and they are not skimpy on their carrots. I normally get it with white rice so it’s pretty plain. I would recommend this dish to people I’m just not sure of the other dishes on their menu.

Pretty tasty Chinese food. I had the egg rolls, hot and sour soup and Szechwan chicken– they don’t skimp on the chicken. I had it delivered and it was piping hot and fast. I will order from here again.

Unfortunately, one of our white rice boxes had an eight legged friend in it tonight. Yup, a spider and her little web. So that was gross to begin with. ok, lets skip the rice, protein side wasn’t any better. Sweet and sour chicken was overly greasy and seemed like someone’s left overs. Wonton soup was all mush, how old was it? House fried rice was greasy and had no flavor(normally this is awesome). Owner addressed the spider issue saying it was just on the box(no, it was IN the box, chillin on the rice) and probably from where they store the containers. So what other creepy-crawlies are hanging around the food containers and food? The quality has declined quickly from here, but they used to be really good. Owner did offer to resend the order, but I declined. Won’t be ordering from Jojo’s again.

Like most of the Chinese food options in this area of town, JoJo comes in at about mediocre quality on average, nothing to really write home about. I can’t comment on the quality of service or the restaurant itself as we ordered delivery. The good: the food came quickly, our order was correct, my Singapore noodles were palatable as was my wonton soup, the fried biscuits were delicious(though I’ve never had a bad fried biscuit: I don’t think anyone could go *wrong* with fried, sugary bread), the portions were big. The bad: this was pretty much entirely in my husband’s sesame chicken and fried rice. The chicken was rubbery and sticky, the taste was like something I might have gotten in the freezer aisle of a grocery store and the rice was completely dry, totally lacking in anything that I know to be the qualities of ‘fried rice’, just vaguely brown, crumbly and sad. I honestly don’t know what went so wrong with my husband’s meal. Again, I don’t order from Chinese restaurants in this area hoping to get something gourmet or sophisticated, I know I’m both literally and figuratively ‘phoning’ it in when I order(usually out of necessity, this time in our kitchen being remodeled). As such, I wouldn’t ever compare the local delivery cuisine to something in the loop like Qin Dynasty or Fu’s Garden. That said, I still expect and hope for my food to be edible which the sesame chicken/fried rice really wasn’t– sure enough, husband had to give up after a few bites. Maybe it was just a bad day for sesame chicken/fried rice at JoJo. I’m not really sure, but I don’t think we’ll be ordering from this place again. We usually order from China Inn Café on Hwy 6 and West which, again, is not the greatest Chinese food I’ve ever had either but tends to be much better for what you can get in this area.

Food taste ok but certainly not the best. Ordered delivery and it came within 15min. Food was hot. Ordered egg drop soup and it was good, chicken with broccoli and it tasted ok, sweet and sour chicken and the chicken was crunchy and came in a big portion however the sauce was not good. Had no flavor and was watery. Also ordered beef lo mein and it was ok. I don’t have anything against this place but I’ve definitely had better and won’t be back

Tried this place when I first moved to this side of town(thought I’d reviewed it but don’t see it). Food was okay but nothing impressive. I called it in and picked it up. Should have checked the bag before I left, wasn’t given duck sauce which I love on my egg rolls or a fortune cookie. It’s been a long time so I will try then out again soon and re-review.

Great little Chinese restaurant tucked away. Never very busy, so it’s pretty quiet. Great food, great service. No buffet, but they have good lunch deals with entrée, rice, egg roll & soup. Soft, fresh spring rolls are good. They do have brown rice as healthier option.

I came here today with family and I was impressed with the service and quality of food. Our waiter was very attentive, refilling our glasses of tea and water regularly. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The portion sizes for their entrees are fairly large. I got the Sweet & Sour Chicken, and my god! It was a mountain of chicken. I was okay with that! ;) I will probably come back again for more.
