Went here recently with some family members. The food here is solid. When we went inside for lunch about half of the tables were empty but had not been cleaned off. Employees were busy putting food on tables but were not interested in cleaning off tables. After ordering we got our drinks and stood around waiting for a clean table. I asked an employee to clean off a table but he kept delivering plates to tables. It took at least 10 minutes for a waiter to come clean a table off for us. Food is solid but cleanliness was not acceptable.

Always my favorite Asian cuisine… delicious food and great service! Both 1960 locations are awesome.

I love to visit a place that hater same chef when return, this particular location always has the same cooks and the food comes out fresh. I had the«honey seared chicken««crab wantons» & «pei wei spicy«, at most locations the appetizers come out first but they were hot so I didn’t complain. I do believe they were a bit understaffed but overall the experience was satisfying. I will return

Called in a phone order for pick up. Guy on the phone was a bit rude with a «lazy» attitude. Got there and paid for my meal, and the SAMEGUY told me «it’s not ready yet, it will be 5 minutes» after waiting 20 minutes, I noticed people who came in after me got their food before me. I asked the girl that was at the register where my food was, she looked around and grabbed a bag that was sitting on their counter. This bag was sitting there when I got there! It was my food the whole time! I let her know and she said«oh well I’m sorry». Came home, and my order was incorrect! Right customer name, but they messed up on my order! Had to drive BACK bc I couldn’t eat what they gave me. Manager didn’t offer anything to reimburse me of my time! The service here sucks majorly! This place was great years ago when they cared. Now they don’t care! I would avoid at all cost! Plus, my food tastes a little burnt. I would rather drive 30 minutes to southwest Houston for better food.

Well I was tired from work and was craving some Chinese food. Man was I wrong for coming here. The sushi was good but the Kung pao shrimp was bland. It wasn’t spicy at all. And to top it off I had to wait 30 minutes for a mediocre meal. I’ll take my business to sushi choo choo. It’s right across the street.

Literally the best Chinese food in the city, I won’t even order Chinese anywhere else. I only wish there were more locations as we have quite the drive to reach our local Pei Wei. It’s worth the drive, every time ! I recommend the teriyaki chicken with fried rice it’s fantastic !

I just love eating at Pei Wei i love being able to order some«Asian» chicken and rice. Thats why i continue to come here because i like eating their food. The service is awful though!!! One girl has a terrible attitude giving me dirty looks and acting stupid. Than she always forgets to get me my food! When i get my food i always have to complain that my rice is cold. They give me another bowl of rice though!

What happened to Pei Wei? A few years back they were very good. I have pretty much stopped going after poor food quality at last few visits to other locations in Katy and Houston TX. I moved near the 1960 location recently and decided to try this location in the hopes that perhaps not all there restaurants had gone downhill. Out of the other 5 locations I have gone to in the greater Houston area this ended up being by far the worst one. And that is saying a lot. I ordered the Beef LoMein. What I received was heavily coated in a dark bitterish sauce. The Beef was so overcooked it was like dried out Jerky. I brought it to the manager and requested a replacement. she said ok she would order it light sauce, I corrected her twice saying I wanted it «normal» sauce level that it is supposed to be. The replacement was now w/o any sauce at all and flavorless. Again the beef was the same, dried out and tough as jerky. I will not be back. AVOID this LOCATION apparently they don’t give a @#$# how the food is cooked.

Okay great customer service. I explained this was my first time a few times to the cashier and she was patient with me and I really appreciate that! The crab wonton was on point! The pad Thai was okay nice time I’ll add veggies! The cookie was pretty good too! I would return

It was clean and staffs are super friendly. Food is so bad. I got Mango California rolls and vegetables and tofu pad thai. The roll is so so. Pad Thai was so sour and taste awful. I might picky bc I get used to delicious Asian food at other place. Sorry but never come back!!!

The worst experience at pei wei throughout my dining experience. I decided to dine in for lunchbwith my 3yr old, we ordered a cup of hot and sour soup to start off with. And the Dan Dan with tofu and vegetables. The cup of hot and sour was great but that was it. The dan dan was drowning in sauce, so much sauce that when I finished my hot and sour soup I filled up the empty cup full of sauce from the Dan Dan and the noodles were still impossible to enjoy. The manager did reorder me a replacement pad Thai w/sauce on the side but left for the day before it was ready. The young lady who delivered it in a bag for to go(not what I re order) was clueless and didn’t care that it was in correct from what the item was to the fact that it was for dine in. I don’t think I’ll return.

I love Pei Wei’s salads! I have been coming here for years. Not a ridiculous amount of choices as some reviewers seem to want, but the ones they do have are delicious. I love their tea(not a fan of chai though) and don’t forget the cookies, yummers! Always we have had good service at the counter, and with the servers. The bathrooms are normally very very clean. Food has always been fresh and on temperature. I just get crazy excited when I know I’m on my way to Pei Wei.

I’ve taken out a few times here before and I usually get their teriyaki steak wok bowl. I also got their wonton soup on the side. Their teriyaki steak was really good. The steak was nice and tender and they had the right amount of teriyaki sauce. The rice was not dry. The wonton soup was pretty good also. The 2 girls who took my order were courteous and quick. Overall experience was great!

The entrees here are pretty boring ompared to Thai food and traditional Chinese restaurants. Lettuce wraps and hot and sour soup is tasty.

Usually a very good place for a quick tasty lunch. However lately the waitstaff has been less than welcoming. Today we had a table that needed to be wiped and after trying to wipe it down myself, realized that it needed a real wipe down with a cloth. The manager lady came out and said where’s your table I don’t see your table? Then when she came to the table, looked at it and said, «you said it look dirty it doesn’t look dirty». Then I explained that I wiped it down but that it was still sticky. She responded that that was just the solution from the rag. I told her that I had just wiped up soy sauce from the table and could she please clean it. She did so with a shrug and walked off. The last two times I’ve been here, I have also received lackluster treatment at the order counter. The employees just don’t seem to have the same interest in their job that they used to at this location.

I love it at pei Wei. They have a gluten free menu(small but good). My kids love the atmosphere watching them cook and rattle pots and pans. It’s quick and reasonably priced. Love the mandarin tea. I wish the would bring back the lemon pepper dish and make it GF that was always my favorite actually what brought me to pei Wei back in the day. Now it’s the GF menu, quickness, and that my kids love it. Try at the honey chicken with brown rice and learned how to use chopsticks at pei Wei.

This place is «meh» for me. If I don’t want PF changs I hit up this place(same ownership if you weren’t aware). The menu is decent, they have a okay beer selection, and okay starters. It is fast, and pretty inexpensive. Just very meh for me. I do love their mandarin orange tea. That is freaking delicious.

Love Pei Wei. This time around decided to try the lettuce wraps for something different. Nice and light for a warm summer day. Always enjoy the egg rolls here. Only negative-the girl taking order apparently has someplace else she’d rather be.

Quick, reasonably priced Asian food for the American palette awaits you. Order at the register, take your number, grab your utensils, and wait for your food. Easy enough. Asian Chopped Chicken salad is very tasty as are the crab wontons. Pad thai is also awesome! Most of the food is either too sweet or too salty. Like I said, it’s food designed for the American palette. It’s nice that they have a brown rice option, and their brown rice is good! Go for the combo size meals if you are not as hungry. Don’t pass up the huge fresh baked $ 1 chocolate chip cookies.
