Joseph Was Here Photography

This guy Joseph West has out of this world photography skills. I mean he is über talented with an unbelievable ability to catch people in the moment. My first viewing of his work online I couldn’t stop clicking «next» to see more and more of his amazingness.
I didn’t get to hire him (mainly due to price) but will forever enjoy his art. He was however very responsive to my questions and such a genuine person, I hope our paths cross again.

My fiancé (now wife) scoured the web for days looking for photographers for our wedding in October 2012, and we were really drawn to Joseph’s style. Before deciding on him he was willing and able to skype with us for an hour to help us get to know his style and for him to get to know our personalities. Picking him was a no-​brainer, and he exceeded our high expectations. Joseph and his crew were fun, professional, able to put everyone at ease and to sink into the background when necessary. We could not be happier with the quality of his work. If you are looking for an artistic interpretation, unparalleled dedication, and a true pro, go with Joseph.
We also used his photobooth, AKA the MonsterBooth, and it was a huge hit.

Love this guy. I met him a few years back and found out he was into photography. Following his blog (check out his Marfa pics), I noticed he also did photo booth pics for events. Perrrrrfect timing.
I hired Joseph Was Here Photography for Unilocal’s Holiday Hoedown back in December 2010. Remember that super fun night? Since this was a community event benefiting charity (SEARCH Homeless Services), I had a certain budgie — and Joseph was more than happy to work with my numbers. Very thankful because he did a great job. The pics were uploaded to his site right after the event — and everyone loved them! The cool filters he uses (again, check out his blog) are neat lil’ thing he does, and I heard nothing but great feedback from everyone about «the photo booth guy.» I’d hire him again in a snap (shot).
