First I waited for 10 min on one lady, then they wouldn’t take the printout that geico gave me for insurance to get my registration. Called geico, told them I need proof to get my registration, they emailed me the exact same thing. Took it to a different Kroger who accepted it. All they need to do is look at the dates and Vin number. Turned my 2 step 1 sticker into a 10 step…

This Kroger’s is the closest grocery to where I live. I only come here for last minute stuff or if I don’t feel like driving anywhere else. The product section isn’t as large as other grocery stores, but it has the basics. On certain days, stuff like basil or other product is out of stock. Other than the, the people are friendly and they just remodeled so it feels clean. :)

This a my neighborhood Kroger and very convenient for me. The deli and meats are decent. There is a new Mediterranean bar. The produce could use some better maintenance… I sometimes see fruit flies. Avoid this location during rush hour, it is almost impossible to get in and out.

Lets see. I’ve kept track of Kroger before it was built… before the whole shopping center was built… I see this Kroger as a means to conviently get a few last minute groceries if you live in the neighborhood. Overall they have a good selection of fresh fruits vegetables, deli, meat, frozen foods, etc. However, everything is marked up just a tad. but if you are a Kroger member then after you buy $ 100 worth of groceries and whatnot(you earn 1 point per dollar spent) you can redeem those points at the Krogers gas station located next to the grocery store for 10 cents off per gallon! I believe this Kroger has one of the cheapest gas prices in the area. even without the discounts.

After three or four years, I’ve given up being a regular weekly customer here. The remodeling has made everything difficult to find and some items have been eliminated. The police on Little York and Eldridge and the big trucks in the parking lot make it really unpleasant to visit. If not for Marilyn, one of the best cashiers I’ve ever met, I probably would have given up a long time ago. Have expressed complaints to Kroger and they respond in kind, but nothing has changed. I’ve started shopping at the location on Jones and West, we’ll see how that goes.

The managers are very responsive. I’ve asked for a couple of things to be carried and they started carrying them. The store is always clean. I was in on both Christmas Eve and New Years Eve — they had every station manned. It was packed but I wasn’t in line more than 5 minutes and I had 4 people in front of me. One word of warning and this is HARRISCOUNTY’s fault not Kroger’s — If you register you car here or any other grocery store Harris County can take 45 days to input the data in the computer. I paid on time — but still was pulled over 5 times by police in Harris and Fort Bend Counties.

This Kroger has THEBEST floral department. They might no have all their goodies on display, but just speak with the floral manager and she’ll hook you up with the right arrangement for any occasion. She special orders«Birds of Paradise» because it’s my mother-in-law’s favorite flower. If you’re a regular customer, she’ll even allow you to reuse your vase from a previous arrangement on a future visit. My in-laws ordered their Thanksgiving turkey from Kroger, along with a side of scalloped potatoes. No way does it come close to home cooked, but it was nice to have somebody else cook the turkey. My m-law also knows the Indian ladies that work behind the prepared food counter, so they don’t mind customizing dishes for her(e.g. making things extra spicy!). I eat a lot of mushrooms, and that’s one thing that seems to always be sold out at this Kroger. Minus a star for that. Other than that, this is pretty much on par with any other neighborhood Kroger.
