Corny name but the food is good and the price is reasonable. Portion sizes are also good. Update: the curry shrimp is EXCELLENT.

Love here! Food is awesome and price is very reasonable! Very neat and friendly environment! My favorite is fried dumplings, hot and sour soup and seafood mix.

OK so I tried this place again for the second time only because it’s close to home. I was not impressed at all… Hot and sour soup lacked of flavor and was very bland. Do NOT order the fried dumplings! They were they worst dumplings I’ve ever had and I order them at every chinese place I’ve been to. They barely had any stuffing and the dipping sauce didn’t have any flavor either. For my entrée I ordered the triple delight mongolian style which had shrimp, chicken and beef and didn’t taste fresh. The front of the menu says their chefs have over 20 years experience. I think they have given up :/Their only saving grace is the lady that took my order was very friendly and they also have an online ordering system that is also very well done. Service: 5⁄5 Food quality: 2⁄5

Ordered General Tso’s lunch special. The chicken was OK. The fried rice was EXTREMELY bland… it took a few packets of soy sauce and pepper oil to even make it tolerable. I tried the wonton soup… spit that out… it was like chewing on wonton goo floating in a misc. broth. Because I thought there was supposed to be meat inside the wontons — I cut into wonton mass floating in the bowl… and I found a piece of what I think is meat — but its the size of a pea… and is the only meat I was able to locate. The egg roll was edible, yet bland… but I didn’t eat it, just took a bite. This meal did absolutely nothing for me… First and last time…

Delivery was crazy fast and the food was amazing. I had the orange chicken dinner combo with egg roll, wonton soup and crab puffs. The only bad thing is I didn’t know the combo came with 3 egg rolls so I ordered 2 and ended up with 6 but other than that it was delicious!

So yummy. Traveling for work, wanting to relax at the hotel and was craving lemon chicken. Kung Food did not disappoint. Ordering through Unilocal was super easy. Delivery was crazy fast. And the food was delicious. The lemon sauce was so flavorful and the chicken was crisp and fresh. Thanks for a great meal in!

Very good food. Nice, friendly, prompt service. FYI = the«Full Menu» link is outdated; the prices have increased. Also, they do offer a Lunch Special(11 – 4) & Dinner Combination(after 4) Menu. Entrée, Egg Role, Fried or Steamed Rice and *maybe a soup*. Lunch $ 6.75 — 7.75 Dinner $ 7.95 — 8.95.

My wife and I always order a good amount from here and have nothing but good things to say. The delivery is free and the food always tastes freshly made. The prices are very fair and the portions are very generous. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We order a lot from them for delivery. Food isn’t the best but their teriyaki beef on a stick is good. It’s not really teriyaki but I like the way they flavor it strange enough. Their deliver time isn’t bad so when I’m feeling lazy and not wanting cook(which is often!), I will still order from them. Wish the fried rice and eggrolls had little more seasoning.

Chinese food here is delicious, I’ve personally had better but, they have exceptional service and that’s why I keep coming back. We’ve eaten in and also taken out and I’ve gotten great service. Prices are also great! Very inexpensive and you can order from the lunch menu. Eggrolls are delicious!

Not worth a penny. Soup was watered down, décor is depressing, and staff is extremely unenthusiastic. You can go to right down the street and get some more bang for your buck.

Generally have good experiences with this place. Food is on par with all Chinese places of this kind. However on 12/31/2014 around 2:00 pm we had a delivery driver lecture us about how we owed him more of a tip. Even if that is true it is inappropriate and customer service 101. Train your employees better.

This place to me is just okay, but they deliver to my place so who am I to complain? I love Asian food and eat it as often as I can so this place to me is not special. Kung food is your typical run of the mill American-Chinese food. It fills my Chinese cravings when I can’t bring myself to leave the house.

Excellent customer service, fast and friendly delivery, good price But poor bland and tasteless food so you should ask yourselves is cheaper worth the flavorless food?

Good quality food, good menu, fast service, decent price for the lunch or dinner combo. Definitely a good local place for Chinese.

Very attentive servers and wide variety of asian food on menu for LOW prices. Plus, you get soup, egg roll and entrée for under 8 or 9 bucks. Love this place.

The hostess was not very pleasant, but the waitress was ok. For an appetizer we ordered the szechuan dumplings. They came smothered in peanut butter. Yes, creamy peanut butter straight from the jar. It was absolutely gross. I ordered sweet n sour chicken. It was very bland. The sweet n sour sauce was watered down. The fried rice was bland. Not much«fried» to it. The egg drop soup was bland. The egg roll was the best part of the whole meal. My boyfriend had General Tso’s chicken. It was nothing special. He thinks the egg drop soup was watered down. He agrees with me on the fried rice as being tasteless. Also, the ambiance sucks. It’s so quiet in there we could hear each other chew. No background music and bright lights. We were also the only people dining in. Now we know why.

I was in the area and I was going to swing by KFC. But I was craving some orange chicken so I pulled out my phone and opened up my Unilocal app. Guess what? Kung food was located in the same shopping center with KFC. Decent rating by fellow Unilocalers and they had Orange Chicken. Kung Food it is! I came in, sat down, and the waitress/owner came and gave me the menu. I quickly glanced just to make sure that Orange Chicken was served as lunch special and ordered it. Not two minutes later, my wonton soup came. Not three minutes after, my lunch special came out. Man, that was quick! First of all, I have to say this. When I was skimming through the reviews, some people mentioned that the portion here was huge. However, when I saw my lunch special portion, I was extremely disappointed. The portion wasn’t huge at all. Not according to my standards, at least. However, the fact that the Orange Chicken was all white meat, I couldn’t complain too much about it. I needed my protein! The downside; the orange sauce felt a little too starchy. And they didn’t give me enough sauce. This place is not too close to me so I doubt I’ll be frequenting this place too often. However, they have other lunch special selections priced a little under $ 7. I can tell you that I will be back to try some of the other lunch specials. However, I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

Warning: Save your tastebuds the drama. Let me just start out by saying, I love chinese food and we eat it all of the time. However, my boyfriend and I have been to Kung Food twice now. To start with our first visit: We had ordered the shrimp lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, pad thai, and egg rolls. SHRIMPLOMEIN: was probably the best part of our meal and even that was mediocre. SWEET&SOURCHICKEN: is also just, ok as it is more bread than chicken and was very chewy. PADTHAI:…Now, this is coming from someone who lived in Thailand for a while and attended a thai cooking school, anyways, back to the point. The pad thai is well… different. Instead of having an asian flavor and using the typical seasonings it contains more of a cajun flavor and threw us off a little. Although, I must say it was decent just unusal and I was looking for a more traditional style. Now that the food review is complete let me tell you about our payment. My boyfriend wanted to pay with $ 20 cash and the rest on my card as we often split our meals, he gives her the $ 20 and she still manages to swipe the entire $ 40 meal onto my card. However, they were very kind when we called them back and explained what had happened. She was very appologetic and they refunded the money back to my account as they should have. Our Second Visit: We decided to give them a second chance and it somewhat paid off. This time we ordered Shrimp Lo Mein and sweet and sour chicken(of course) as well as the mongolian beef combo with wonton soup. SHRIMPLOMEIN: This time it had more flavor and was a step up from the last but still not my favorite. SWEET&SOURCHICKEN: Was the same as the last MONGOLIANBEEF: The mongolian beef was DELICIOUS but watch out, it does have a kick to it. I ordered fried rice as my side which was very plain and took 1 ½ packets if soysauce. WONTONSOUP: The wonton soup was VERY bland and had no flavor to the broth what-so-ever again another packet of soy sauce which didnt do much. The wontons themselves were also very bland. Kung Food has a variety of foods and some are either hit or miss. I am not saying to avoid going there, but you might want to take caution when ordering.

Around the area looking for a place to eat, thinking about the pizzeria next door but gf was craving chinese instead thought we give it a try. just like all Chinese restaurants the menu is all the same, nothing out of the ordinary. what i mean is very americanized chinese food. we got our soup first had the hot and sour soup and gf got the wonton soup, let me break down mine first, I’m a huge fanatic of good Hot and Sour soup, this well was neither but a bit sweet and had lack of ingrediants had little bit of eggs floating and few veggies, i like a meaty hot and sour soup, i look forward to every scoop to have something in it and not just soup, i rate that soup a .5 just to be somewhat nice. so for the wonton soup, WOW huge disappointment, the broth was a HUGE failure, tastes nothing like broth but water lack of flavoring, and also the wonton it self had a grain of meat in it, which didn’t even taste right/good, all you get is the wonton skin, what’s the point i can make that at home myself and make the broth better. I would definitely suggest a chinese cook book for them to read, if they can even do that lol sigh I’ll say one good thing, the Kung Pao Chicken actually wasn;t to bad As an Asian American i wouldn’t call this authentic whatsoever, the only authentic about this place is they’re accent: P
